A Lesson Learned in Time(Ch. 7)

Sano's POV
I reached the crystal chess piece and smiled. Suddenly someone grabbed the chess piece from the table and I annoyed looked up to see...Abigail. "What a surprise Abigail." I simply said. I saw her face turn red.
"Oh sorry were you going to draw this chess piece."
"No it's okay...I'll find something else to draw." I replied kindly pushing the chess piece towards her.
"Um Sano why don't we just both draw it." Abigail said enthusiastically. I nodded and smiled.
"Thanks."
Abigail's POV
"What a surprise Abigail." He said in his soft, velvet voice. I realized his hands were resting on top of my hands and I suddenly felt my face turning red.
"Oh sorry were you going to draw this chess piece." I managed to stutter out.
"No it's okay. I'll find something else to draw." Why was he such a gentleman?! I thought to myself.
"Umm Sano why don't we just both draw it." I replied unsure. He smiled and sincerely thanked me. For some absurd reason I was gawking at him like he had five extra heads when I realized I was staring I blushed. Then my gaze moved down to his red lips. Hm I wonder what it will be like to kiss him? I thought to myself. Wait why am I thinking like this suddenly. I felt my face burning redder than ever. Suddenly a familiar voice pentrated by thoughts.
"Miss Warrinton?"
"What?!" I asked slightly annoyed.
"You have not started drawing yet," Miss Brinton said. "Remember class this art work is going to count as a grade." The class along with Sano groaned. Soon the class was only filled with pencils scratching against the papers and the soft, classical music playing. Soon I heard Sano plop his pencil and notebook down. I glanced over and took his notebook.
"Um do you like it?" He asked nervously.
Sano's POV
I had noticed Abby's piercing stares but I tried to ignore it by intently drawing the chess piece. When I was finished I put down my pencil and notebook. Abigail suddenly took my notebook. "Um do you like it?" My voice wavered slightly.
"Yeah....the angling, the shading, everything." She said looking at my drawing as if it was a big piece of chocolate cake.
