A Lesson Learned in Time(Ch. 5)

Mimi's POV
I laughed. "What happened? Did you have a pop quiz like me?" I asked. Niisan laughed.
"Ha no but I did have to learn about the Civil Rights Movement."
"What's so wrong about that?" I asked confused.
"It was just so boring. I've already learned about it back in Japan."
"I miss Japan." I said an octave above a whisper.
"I know but we're just going to have to adjust here." Niisan replied. I looked at my pink watch.
"Uh oh we have to go to our next class." I waved farewell and ran to find the science room. When I turned the corner I bumped into someone.
Sano's POV
Mimi was turning the corner. I sighed and went to find art class. When I entered the room it wasn't art class. There was paper balls being thrown and so much noise I doubted that it was the art room. I was about to leave when I suddenly saw Michael. "Hey Sano, you have art right now?!" His question echoed across the room. I nodded and stared in wonder. Was this really art class? I thought to myself. ThenI saw the teacher come into the class
"Good morning class," The lady said but the class didn't pay attention to her. "I said GOOD MORNING CLASS!" She shouted. The class stopped and everyone sat down in their chairs. She looked at me. "Oh Mr. Ogori! How nice of you to join the junior and senior advanced art class. Please sit where ever you want." I nodded and went to sit in an empty seat.
"Okay today I want you to draw a still life around this room," Sano looked around the room to see several objects suddenly something caught his eyes. It was a crystal chess piece. "...I will give you a minute to go around the room and choose something to draw." The students scrambled to find something interesting to draw. Sano reached the crystal chess piece and smiled. Suddenly someone grabbed the chess piece from the table and Sano angry looked up to see...
