Harry Potter Fan Fic-Part 1- After Harry's death

A child lay screaming in her cot, the parents still bickering about a name, and about the way to raise the child.

“She should be named something great, something she can be proud of when it is whispered in fear.”

“Something that not even the bravest or stupidest will murmur without a reason.”

“How about Sally?”

“You are kidding right?”

“Of course I’m bloody kidding…but imagine a world where no one dares to say Sally…” They both broke out in laughter to make light of the situation, it was a joyful occasion after all, and they had just had their first child.

“Well…Do we tell her what she is, about the magic world? Or do we wait?”

“We wait…What if she isn’t accepted or what if she doesn’t accept it. Wait until it isn’t our choice, then we can’t be blamed.”

“So back to the name…what about Katariina for now?She has to fit in after all.”

“Yes…yes that will do nicely.”

This family lived in a normal neighbour hood, a normal house a normal car, though no one knew about their jobs and that was the safest way to live in this street. This family was, as you can tell, magic, though because of where their loyalties lie they have been rejected by most of the rest of the magic community. Their family had always been followers of Voldemort, and had waited for the next power to rise. Many people where now following Voldemort’s lead because of how successful he had been, he had killed the famous Dumbledore and if it hadn’t been for that annoying Harry Potter. But it didn’t matter anymore, Harry Potter had died and now there was room for a new powerful leader to take command, and when that leader came, they would bow.

They socialised as much as was necessary and brought their child up as a typical muggle. Waiting for the day that she would get the letter to say that that wasn’t what she was. Waiting for the day she would become something so much more. Hoping every day that she would show some kind of potential in magic, but that day came and neither of them noticed. She became an outcast and classed as a freak, but still they had no clue that she wasn’t really just a normal boring muggle. She threw tantrums and everything else in the room happened to fly, she played sport and somehow managed to beat the best, she tried to fit in and became even more shut out. But somehow her parents didn’t notice the very thing that they had been looking for.
