Xena The Fairy (1)

"Great. Now then..... Welcome to the Magic Realm!" she giggled, doing a backflip through the air. Xena slowly got up, and opened her eyes.

She gasped,

The sky was a bright puple color, and the clouds were forget-me-not blue. The moon was out, and it was the prettiest shade of silver. They were in a forest with trees with white trunks and black leaves, flowers with white stims with black petals, and in a nearby pond, there were white swans with black beaks.

"Where am I?" Xena yelped, scrambling up.

"The Magic Realm. I just said that. Silly." Celestine did another backflip.

Xena sat on the grass, staring dumbly up at Celestine. Magic Realm? Fairies? Imps? Has she lost her mind?

"Okay, let's go see the queen. She can explain this much better than I can." Celestine yawned, going up in the air a couple of inches.

"The queen?"

"Yeah. The Fairy Queen. But you can call her, 'Your Majesty'. Got it?

"I'm really confused." Xena muttered, getting up. Where did these winds come from again? How did she get here? Who was this girl?

"That's why we need to see the queen. Come on!" Celestine started to fly off. When she looked behind her and sw that Xena wasn't following, she frowned, and drifted back over to her.

"What's wrong? Do your wings hurt?" Celestine lightly touched one of the- dare she think it- wings on Xena's back. She quickly jumped out of Celestine's reach.

"Oh. Wait. Before we go......" Celestine looked over at Luna, the small butterfly that had followed her around, and then at the butterfly that had kissed Xena. "He needs a name."

"Huh?"

"Your butterfly."

"My- What?"

"Gawd, humans are so slow. The butterfly that kissed you. The one that turned you into a fairy." Celestine said exasperatedly, rolling her eyes. Xena just noticed what a pretty shade of prurple her eyes were.

"Does it matter? Wait. How did we get here?" Xena was starting to get impatient.

"I teleported us here by using my magic." Celestine replied nonchalantly.

"Yeah, that clears up everything." Xena said sarcastically.

"Okay. That butterfly....." Celestine started, talking really slow, as if she was explaining that two plus two equals four to a two-year-old, "Kissed you..... NOW...... You're a fairy...... You can do magic..... You can fly...... And we need to go see the queen..... Okay?"

"I can't believe this." Xena flopped on the ground. She felt the wings on her back spread open as she lied on her back. "I got wings."

"Believe it."

"WAIT!!!! Can I ever go home? What about my family? Will I always look like this? Will I have to live here? Will I ever be able o see my friends again?"

"I don't know. That's why we need to see the queen. Come on."

Celestine suddenly took Xena's hand and juped into the air. The wings on her back flapped open, and they were suddenly soaring at remarkable speed.

"I'm on the ground I'm on the ground I'm on the ground I'm on the ground I'm on the ground I'm on the ground!!!!" Xena repeated over and over again.

"Hey, I never got your name. What is it?" Celsetine giggled happily.

"X-Xena! Xena Bouviaire!" Xena yelled over the wind.

"Nice to meet ya'. You should name that butterfly of your's." Celsetine pointed to her right.

Xena looked over, and saw two butterflies flying by the girls. One was Luna, Celestine's butterfly, and the other was the one that kissed Xena earlier.

She took a good look at him, and finally decided.

"Blaze!" she cried over the wind. "His name is Blaze!"

"Nice name." Celestine chuckled. "Are you ready to dive? Here we gooooooooo!!!!!!!" she suddenly did a dive, heading straight for the ground.

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm on the ground I'm on the ground I'm on the ground I'm on the ground I'm on the ground I'm on the ground I'm on the ground......"

The girls landed lightly on their feet, standing right next to a very odd object. It looked like a cave, almost, that was made out of leavs and vines.

"Woah." Xena stared. It was huge.

"I need to talk to my friend real quick. Come on." Celestine pulled on Xena's arm, and he two girls walked right into the vines. Inside, there was an eerie glow emmitting from- Xena couldn't believe her eyes- another fairy. This one was wearing green and blue, and had huge, dragonfly-like wings. She looked up as the girls enetered. The cave made of vines and leaves was dome shaped from in here, making everything look like they were in a snowglobe.

"Mommette, this is Xena. She was a human."

"Oh...? That's rare." Mommette looked over at Xena, with huge, dark green eyes.

"Yeah, that's what I said." Celestine turned to Xena. "Mommette is a water fairy. That's why she lives in this little dome of vine and water."

"It soothes me." Mommette stood. "What type of fairy are you, my dear?"

Xena couldn't talk.

"We're not too sure yet." Celsetine said quickly. "All I know is that she was a human, and now she has butterfly wings. Those are common, aren't they?"

"Angelic wings are common, also, Celestine." Mommette looked Celestine over with half closed eyes. Celestine chuckled nervously.

"We're going off to see Queen Aminia. Wanna come?" Celestine said, changing the subject.

"Sure.... I need to tell Loli I'm going..... Loli!!! Oh, LOLI!!!"

"Loli?" Xena whispered in Celestine's ear. Blaze and Luna were floating above their heads.

Just then, a small, itty bitty creature with wings flew into the dome. Xena squinted her eyes, and saw it looked like a very tiny fairy.

"Hi! OH! A new fairy!? Wow. Not many fairies these days, Mm-mmm.... Anyway..... Hiya, MOMO!!!" Loli said extremely fast.

"I said not to call me Momo." Mommette frowned.

"Whatever, Momo. Whaddaya need?"

"I'm leaving. Going to the castle. Watch things while I'm gone, okay?"

"Have fun!" The small fairy drifted down to the water, and started playing with it with her toes. She made ripples by sticking her big toe in, then stare at her reflection.

As the girls walked out of the small dome, Celestina started talking. "Loli is a pixie. Pixies are basically the fairy's helpers. They clean up, make you clothes, shine your wings, and style your hair." Luna landed on Celestina's shoulder, apparently tired from flying.

Blaze was still fluttering overhead.

"I have a million questions." Xena breathed.

"Let's start with one question, dear." Mommette smiled.

"Okay..... Um.... How did I get lost and end up on Fairy Garden Road?"

"No idea." Celestina started humming.

"Can I change back into a human?"

"I don't know."

"How do I fly?"

"It's hard to explain."

"Where did this dress come from?"

"When you're a fairy, you need fairy clothes. So, when you transformed, you got that dress."

"Where is my school uniform?"

Celestina shrugged her shoulders.

"You're no help at all!" Xena frowned.

"That's why we're going to see the queen." Mommette chuckled. She then drew two long fingers togeher, put them to her mouth, and whistled.

For a momnt, nothing happened. Then, a butterfly with wings that looked identical to Mommette's flew down to the girls, and landed on Mommette's shoulder.

"This is Pierre, my companion." Mommette stroked the butterfly's wings passionately.
