Recap:
You have just met a mysterious new person called "The Moonlight Flyer"...Don't know what MF's plan is, but so far, MF stole a family heirloom before Dark could...
Dark, do you know who that is?} you asked. {Person looks really familiar!} [not a clue, Dai. I feel as If i've seen him before tho...Hmm..]. You sighed. "who is that person? and wahat is he doing?"
END RECAP, STORY START:
Daisuke POV (he's @ school too)
{Aw, man! I'm soo late!} you thought as you sprinted to your school. Checking your watch, you saw that you only had 10 minutes till you had to get to school. {Aw, crap! I gotta hurry!} you began picking up the pace.
~~FF to school~~
You made it just in time. You had 3 minutes to spare. As you were walking to your class, you thought you heard the Harada twins talking to someone. Walking into your classroom, you saw the Harada twins, a couple of their friends and Saehara. "DId you hear? Dark wasn't able to get the treasure last night! SOmeone else stole it!" said Risa.
"Yeah, I heard about that too," said another girl with black hair. "Apparently they call him the 'Moonlight Flyer'.""Do you think he's gonna overpower Dark?" asked a girl with brown hair.
"NO WAY!" cried Risa. "Dark will always be the most powerful! That Moonlight Flyer will never win!"
"How do you know for sure?" asked Saehara. "What if Dark isloosing his touch?"
Risa crossed her arms across her chest. "I don't believe it! Dark will always win because..he's soo dreamy!" She started getting hearts in her eyes.
Riku made a sweat drop and sighed. "I actually think this Moonlight Flyer is really neat! He's so friendly! He helped a cat who was stuck in a tree, he caught a couple of runaway robbers and even put a fire out!"
"Really?" you asked, joining their group.
Riku turned to look at you. "Yeah. He helps people, unlike Dark who steals things!"
[WHAT?! How dare she! I'm just as nice as that Moonlight Liar is!] cried Dark in your head.
Ignoring Dark, you said to Riku, "Have you met him?"
She shook her head and smiled. "No. But I really want to!" You felt your face growing hot.
"Niwa, have you seen the Moonlight Flyer?" asked Risa. You blushed even more.
"Uh...well...I've..seen him on TV...but not up close and personal, no," you stuttered.
"Well, you ladies (and gentleman) are in luck!" said Saehara. "I happen to have pictures of this Flyer with me right now! I'll show them to you if you let me copy off your homework!"
"No, Saehara!" you all shouted at him.
"oK, ok!" he said. "I'll just show you the pictures..." He sighed. "People are so picky these days, seriously." From his pocket, he pulled out several shots of the Moonlight Flyer (MF) holding the cross, jumping from the clock tower, and saving/aiding people.
The girls giggled and cooed over them. [Why that low-life, good for nothing, piece of-] said Dark. {Shut up, Dark!} you thought. {He didn't HURT you, did he?}
[No, but he stole my treasure from me! GRRR..Wait'll I get my hands on him. Then I'll show him whose boss around here!] You sighed in your head. Just then the bell rang and it was time for class.
~After Class~
After Class, you had a break, so you went outside, and sat under a tree so you could think..
{Man, all this news about a new 'superhero' and stuff is really confusing...But, the MF seems so familiar..where have i seen him before..was he from my dream?} you thought, staring at the grass in front of you. {but the people who definitely looked like men was the black and white angels.I saw one female, and one person who's gender was unidentifiable}. While you were deeply pondering these questions, you didn't see Hiwatari standing in front of you, saying your name.
"NIWA!"
"Huh? Oh, Hi, Hiwatari!" you said.He smiled at you.
"Hi. What's up?"
"Nothing..Did you hear about the Moonlight Flyer?"
He nodded. "I did. He seems like the total opposite of Dark, doesn't he?"
"Yeah. Dark isn't as nice as the MF is."
[HEY! Who's side are YOU on?!] cried Dark. this caused you to grip your head in pain. {SHUT UP, DARK!}
HIWATARI POV
[I wonder if Dark knows the identity of this MF..] said Krad.
{So what if he does?} you asked, hotly.
[That's none of your business, my friend,] Krad retorted. [Now let me out! I want to speak with Dark!] you felt a sharp pain in your chest. You grasped your chest and groaned in pain. {No, not now! Please....Not..now...} you thought in pain. [Silence! Release me, fool!] replied krad. {No....no...} your groaning became louder. Daisuke was began to look worried. "Hiwatari? Are you all right?" he asked.
"I'm...fine...I..have...to..go!" you cried, running away from him. (still grasping chest). As you ran, you heard Daisuke screaming your name out.. but you couldn't turn back...you had to get out of there and fast. You ran behind the school and pressed your back against the wall, panting hard.
{that...was...too...close...} you thought, your grip on your chest becoming tighter.
Daisuke Pov
{That..was weird..Why'd he run away like that?} you thought.
[Daisuke, don't you remember Krad? My other half? He was running away 'cause Krad was trying to come out} said Dark.
{Oh...But why did Krad wanna talk to you now in the open?}
[It's most likely because of that stupid MF, he wanted to talk so urgently..]
You sighed. {THis MF is really getting to those two...even Hiwatari...I wonder if he likes our new 'friend'..}
~~AFTER SCHOOL @ HOME~~
"I'm home! Mom? Grandpa? Dad?" (me: yes, his father is back...)
"Hi, Dai! we're in the Kitchen!" came your mom's voice.
When you entered the kitchen to see to your utter shock that it was a mess! The entire kitchen and dining table was covered in sticky, gloopy stuff.
"What..happened here?!" you cried.
"Well," your mom began, "We were trying to make a strawberry shortcake cake (me: obviously) for dessert today, but we accidentally added too much yeast and the cake kind of..well...exploded!"
You made a sweat drop and slapped your forehead. "Oh, brother," you said.
"Well, Dai, could you help us clean up then?" asked Kosuke (your dad)
You sighed. "I guess I have no other choice in the matter...But I wanted to tell you something about-" Before you could continue, your Grandpa handed you a soaking wet mop.
"Less talking, more cleaning!" he announced.
You groaned. {Great..Now I'll never get to tell them about MF!}
[You'd better remember! 'Cause if I ever see that idiot again, I'm gonna show him a thing or two!] said Dark. You groaned again..."Why Me?"
~~After all of your torture, srry, Cleaning~~
You plopped down on the couch with a sigh of relief. "Finally! We're done!"
Gramps laughed. "Yes..we are...Daisuke, you were going to say something before we started to clean, what was it?" You looked at him blankly. "Huh? Oh, right. I was going to ask you if you've heard of this "Moonlight Flyer" that's been flying around at night. Do you know who he is?"
Gramps thought for a minute. "Hmmm.. 'Moonlight Flyer' is it? Hm...No..the name doesn't ring a bell..why?"
"Because..he seems so familiar...I don't know why..he just does...Dark feels the same way."
Gramps stroked his beard.."Very interesting..." he mumbled. "Could it be...?"
"Could it be what?" you asked.
He shook his head. "Never mind. Just a thought. Well, it looks as if it's time for you to go and steal, Phantom Thief!"
You nodded and transformed.
Dark POV
{So..Today we're at an old church, huh?} you thought. {THis should be good. I just hope that Moonlight Liar isn't here today..I could just strangle him right now!}
[Dark, take it easy! I doubt he'll come today, ok? Just concentrate on getting the statue today!] scolded Daisuke in your head. {Yeah, I guess so..} You reached the church within minutes and saw the police all surrounding the building, waiting for you. "Oh, how nice. They're all waiting with anticipation for me to arrive! How sweet," you said somewhat sarcastically. You flew into some shadows and quickly, yet quietly, flew into an open window and landed lightly on your feet.
"Well, that wasn't so bad, was it?" you asked Daisuke. [Yeah, whatever, let's just get the statue and go, ok?] You nodded and grinned. There in front of you on a little altar, was the statue..It wasn't any ordinary statue, no, it was a statue of a girl..with wings and long hair. she had a rose in her hand and was looking at it sadly.
"Now, isn't that just gorgeous?" you said, crouching down so you were the same height as it i. "Come to papa, my beau-" suddenly, a light laughter filled the air. "Oh, my, look who's here! It's Dark again!" said a voice.
"WHo said that?" you looked around. Finally, you spotted a hooded figure standing a couple feet behind the statue.
"YOU AGAIN?!" you cried. [The Moonlight Flyer!] cried Daisuke. [What's he doin' here?]
"Fancy meeting you here, Dark Mousy!" said MF, slowly walking towards you.
You got your fists at the ready. "What do you want, you punk?" you asked.
"oh, nothing really..I just wanted to see my old friend again," came a sly reply. (me: no rhyming intended)
"Is that so?" you grabbed the statue. "Well, you won't be getting this like you did with the cross!"
With that, you sped out of the church the way you came. [What happened to 'I'll strangle him the next time i see him', Dark?] asked Daisuke. {Never mind that. I just want to get away from him, that's all} Suddenly, the MF flew in front of you. YOu growled with annoyance. (you were in the forest that was next to the church and were on the ground). MF chortled with amusement. "I'm really starting to enjoy this habit of bumping into each other," he said, his high voice playful. You tucked the statue in your bag and took out a black feather.
"Why do you keep following me around?" you asked.
"Because," came the answer, "we're like family! I don't think you remember me, but I remember you. Very well. we were very close."
"You're..not..Krad, are you?"
The MF tittered with delight. "Heavens no! I'm not him at all! Do i even sound like him?"
You shook your head. "So, that proves that I am not him, right?"
You clenched your teeth. "Then why do you follow me around?!"
"Because..I want to be with you again," whispered the MF.
you gasped. "What?"
SUddenly, you heard police sirens. "Dark, if you are in the forest, surrender now!" came a voice.
"Well, i guess i have to go..Ta-ta, Mousy," said the MF, who disappeared with a snap.
The sirens began getting louder. [Dark, we have to get out of here!] said Daisuke.
{We will, Daisuke. Trust me on this, ok} [All right]. You smirked and muttered some words under your breath. With a flash, you disappeared. ANd just in time too. The police were just five feet away from your spot when you did.
Back at HOme, Dark POV still
"Well, done, Dark," said Gramps taking the statue from your hands.
"Thanks..But there was one problem."
"What?"
"That stupid MF showed up again," you grumbled.
Gramps stroked his beard. "Hmm...Very interesting...it seems this MF keeps showing up when you go to steal things, isn't that right?"
You nodded. "And it pisses me off whenever he butts in. I have enough to worry about with Krad and the police. But with this idiot too, Ugh!"
{But, I can't seem to get those words out of my head. 'Because...I want to be with you again.' What did he mean by that? The MF's voice sounds a little higher than Krad or Hiwatari too...}
"Dark?"
"Hmm?" you asked as Emiko (Me: finally figured out what dai's mom's name was!) brought your thoughts back to present.
"It's time for you to change back into Daisuke now."
"Right." She showed you the picture and you transformed.
Daisuke POV
"WEll, time for bed, Dai. You've had a loong day," said Emiko.
You nodded and went up to your room. Plopping on to your bed, you sighed.
"Chyuu?" said With/Wiz cuddling up next to you.
"Hey, With/Wiz."
{Tonight was weird...Especially when MF showed up....Dark?}
[Yes, Daisuke?]
{What did the MF mean by, 'Because...I want to be with you again'?}
Dark sighed. [I'm not sure myself, Daisuke. Anyway, don't worry about it..YOu should go to sleep]
{Ok..Good night}
['Night]
~*NEXT DAY @ SCHOOL*~
"Morning," you said as you slid the door open to your classroom.
"Niwa, Did you hear about the MF last night?" asked Risa.
"No. What happened?" you lied.
"Apparently, he went into the church at the exact same time as Dark did. He didn't steal the statue though..Dark did," said Saehara.
"Oh, really?" you asked, plopping down into your seat.
"Yeah. We haven't heard anything else about the two of them yet."
"Well, I hope I get to meet the MF someday," said Riku. "He sounds awesome! Way better than Dark!"
[HOW DARE SHE SAY THAT!!!!!!!!!!! I'M WAY BETTER THAN THAT A**HOLE AND YOU KNOW IT!]
{Dark, just chill, ok? I'm sure she didn't mean it entirely}
[Hmph! I'll show her!]
YOu sighed and placed your head on the desk.
"Hey, Daisuke, what's the matter? You don't look so good," said Riku. "Did you not sleep last night?"
"Well, kinda..I slept, but not very well," you lied again.
Just then, the bell rang and class began.
~After School~
[Daisuke, I need to talk to your grandpa when we're home, ok?]
{Sure..But why?}
[He has something that I need to look at]
{Oh..Ok}
@ home, Dark POV
"Gramps?"
"Yes?"
"Do you by any chance have The Book of Beings?"
"I do. But why do you need it?"
"I..." you sighed. "Just want to check something."
Gramps nodded understandingly and went to fetch it.
He came back a bundle in hand. "Here, Dark. Be careful with it."
"I will, Thank you."
You sat down on the couch, and began flipping through the book. [So, Dark, what exactly are you looking for?]
{I'm not really sure..I just want to see something..}
YOu flipped a couple more pages till you reached the one you were looking for.

{This...is Aislinn. She is the love of my life..Well, was anyway..}
[What do you mean, 'was'?]
"Before I was able to bond with DNA with boys from the Niwa family, I lived in another dimension. And in this dimension, there lived other Angels as well. We were ruled by a God named Astaroth. He created our parents, so that's how we were created. Anyway, Aislinn was the girl of my dreams...And I'm not kidding. She was a sweet, caring and amazing girl. She could pretty much do anything you asked her to...I mean, if it was reasonable. She helped everyone in the village where we lived. but one day...Mordread, Astaroth's right hand man, decided to wrreak destructin across our town. Aislinn and I fought him, but he was too strong...and he almost killed Aislinn. I had to protect her, so I did. But he nearly killed me. The only way to save me, was if Aislinn sent me to this dimension, (where your family was). Otherwise, I would've died. I told Aislinn that I wanted to do whatever made her happy. So, with that, she sent me to this dimension...And that's how i've been with the NIwa family ever since."
[Wow..So, what about Krad? Was he part of you?]
"He was... In fact Astaroth set me free of him. Ever since then, I tried destroying him. That's why he wants to kill me. As revenge.....He too was sent to this dimension but not by Aislinn. In fact, I'm not sure how he was sent here..."
[I'm so sorry about Aislinn, Dark. I really am..I hope she's ok, wherever she is]
{Me too, Daisuke..me too.}
