There he goes again. My best friend is out with some other girl. Then probably some time at night time he is going to call me teling me how great of a time he had without me.
Yeah so I love him. And no one knows it. Trust me Impretty good at hiding things.
Well the Nick Jonas is my best friend. I have seen it all.
"Hey Anna, I finally think I have found the one. Miley is amazing!"
"Nick Im so happy for you!" I said putting on the best fake smile I could.
That relationship went no where.
"Demi seems like such a nice person. She has a GREAT voice too. Im so happy to be working with her"
"Im so happy for you Nick!" Again with the fake smiles. Ugh.
They flirted but they were never official.
"Selena looked gorgeous in that dress. The Burnin' Up video has to be great. I wouldnt pick anyone else to be my partrer."
"Nick, that's great! You two would be cute together." I choked out. Luckily he didnt notice. He was to busy fantasizing on what would happen if there was ever a, uhhh, Nelena.

They are all prettier and better than me.
*sigh*
This time it was some fan girl that he met at a meet ang greet. She was way prettier than me. Her name? Kylie. She was blonde with these gorgeous blue eyes. I hated it.
We were at the movies, watching "Meet the Zohan". Nick just had to drag me along. Kylie and Nick kept giggling together. Not even half way through the movie, this Kylie girl made her move. Thats right. They were making out. Next to me.
I snuck away and just walked right out of the theater.
[Nicks POV]
"Hey Where's Anna?" I asked looking at the empty seat next to me.
"I dont know she probably went to go get some snacks or something" Kylie answered with her sweet little voice of hers.
"Hmm. Oh well" I said not trying to worry about it.
Kylie kissed me again and....
we were making out again.
[Anna's POV]
I looked down at my phone, expecting Nick to call me wondering where I was.
Nothing.
He forgot about me.
Whatever. I just continued to walk home. My house was maybe a mile and a half away.
I was barely out of the pariking lot.
This could take a while.
*About an hour and a half later*
I was almost at my house. The Jonas' house was about a few steps away. I lived a few houses down from the Jonas'. I could see Mrs. Jonas watering the front lawn and smoke coming out from their backyard.
"Um. Mrs. Jonas, I think your backyard is on fire" I said awkwardly.
"Oh honey, the boys and I are having a barbeque. Would you like to join us?"
"Sure, but I have to call my mom."
"Wait, where did you come from?" She asked with a motherly tone.
"The movies." I answered blankly.
"Oh, weren't you supposed to be with Nick? He's already here with his friend Kylie."
"Well I walked home. I uhh needed the excercise."
"You walked all the way from the movie theaters and Kevin didnt see you when he picked up Nick! Im so sorry."
"Its alright. Im just going to head on inside."
"Alright sweetie."
I walked into the empty house. I decided to call my mom.
No answer, like always. She was always busy at work. She became a total work freak after Dad died.
I just left a message.
Should I walk outside? No I shouldnt. But if anyone comes inside they're going to make me go outside anyways. Might as well just go right now.
As soon as I took my first step outside, Joe ran up to me and crushed me into one of his bear hug.
"Anna banana! I missed you." Joe said.
"Joe I was just here like a few hours ago" I said as he let go of me.
" Yeah but a few hours is like a zillion years in Joe time"
"Okay Joe, whatever you say"
The rest of the Jonas familly greeted me, except for Nick because he was too busy chatting it up with Kylie.
Mrs. Jonas walked outside and slapped Kevin on the arm.
"Ow! Mom, what was that for?!" Kevin screamed out.
"You didnt see Anna walking home by herself when you picked up Nick."
"Well I have to focus on other things than finding Anna"
"Like what!?" I yelled.
"The road!" Kevin yelled back
"You think the road is more important than me Kevy" I said in a puppy doggish voice
Kevin gave in. Haha.
"Im sorry Anna, I didnt mean to." Kevin said engulfing me into a hug.
"Its okay Kevin" I said hugging him back.
"Hey guys it looks like Nick and Kylie are getting into a fight." Joe whispered to us.
We could all here them. Since that Kylie girl was practically screaming.
"Why were you staring at her?!!!!" Kylie screamed at Nick.
"I was not staring at her, I would never stare at someone like her!"
Ouch.
"Nick, admit it, you were staring at Anna!"
"Umm, Anna I think they're talking about you" Joe whispered
"No duh!" Kevin said.
"Kylie she's just my friend. She would never be anything else." Nick said trying to convince Kylie.
That hurt. Really bad. Now its official, Nick obviously doesnt love me. Nice.
"Its either me or her Nick"
"Her." Nick answered blankly.
Did he just choose me over blondie over there!?
"What?!" Kylie shouted.
"You heard me."
"Ugh!! I hate you Nick Jonas!" She stormed out.
Nick walked over to us.
"Well this is awkward. Kevin let's go uhh over there!" Joe said dragging Kevin behind him.
"Hey." Nick said.
"Hey Nick" I answered looking down at my feet. "Why did you do that?"
"Do what?"
"Why did you choose me Nick?" I said finally looking him in the eyes.
"I couldnt just let some girl get between me and my bestfriend." Nick said putting a brotherly arm around me.
"Yeah... Best friend. Thats me, your best friend. Nothing can tear us apart." I said
[Nick's POV]
Why is she acting so different?
Out of no where she just.....
kissed me.
Suddenly, a rush of new feelings came over me. I cant believe I was so stupid. The one I loved was standing right beside me all along.
She pulled away and looked me straight in the eyes.
"Nick, Im tired of hiding my feelings. I love you okay. Im tired of seeing these girls rub all over you. Im tired of seeing you hurt after you're alone again. Im tired of being just your friend. Im tired of being alone Nick. I need you with me. I want to be more than just your best friend. Why cant you just open your eyes and look at what's right in fron-"
I kissed her. Her lips on mine, felt so right. I cant believe I was blind for so long.
"I love you." I said to her when we broke apart.
"Im glad you're not blind anymore Nick."
We walked into the house with our hands intertwined.
