I was Locked away so I Wouldn't Die
Chapter 1 : I was Locked away so I Wouldn't Die
It had been...too long since I last opened my eyes. Everything is blurry and hard to see. There's way too much light in the room. It's cold as well. Where am I? How did I get here? I...I can't remember...how? Why? My eyes adjusted slowly. I tried to sit up but my head hit something right above me and I fell right back down onto...glass?
No it's too cold to be glass. Maybe it's ice? But then why is it not melting? Where am I? I felt around me, it seemed like a coffin. I started banging my fists against the ice. I can't get out. Tears started rolling down my eyes. Sobs racked through my body. Then the top just popped open.
The whole room was made of this ice that didn't melt. It shimmered like diamonds. I'm in a large room or soit looked like I was. Its height was larger than its surface.
Roses. There were hundred of them. None of which were even close to wilting. They were all...gray. Was that even possible? Who had placed them all here?
I went to stand up and screamed in surprise. Something had brushed my arms. I got up and turned around in a circle trying to find who touched me. And found no one. It happened again as I stopped turning. I tensed up and looked behind me. Smokey gray hair. My hair had touched my arms. I tried to remember why this was surprising me so much. Was my hair shorter before? Ya it was. I remember it always brushing against my face. It was so short, so fun. Now it reaches to my hips. How long has it been since I opened my eyes?
There was a noise. It sounded like it was coming from a different room toward me. Fear took me over. My heart pounded.
