~*Surprised*~ A Neji Love Story...1

You began to walk to a open field to train. As you started into the field, you couldn't help but take in the sweet air and the cool breeze. Those two mixed together with the warming sun felt like paradise. Much like your brother, Shikamaru, you were pretty lazy when it came to things like these, when you actually get a choice, so you crashed down in the middle of the field and fell asleep.
When you woke up, your face was once again leveled toNeji's.
You scrambled to your feet as he slowly got up.
"What were you doing," he asked. "You just fell asleep in the middle of the field. All last night we couldn't find you. Why, exactly, did you fall asleep, Usagi?" he seemed concerned and scannedyour arms and face for woundsto make sureyou didn't pass out other than fall asleep.
You were shocked. "You...you..."
"What?" his eyes widened in fright that something happened, then he realized this emotion and hid his face from blushing in front of you.
You smirked. "You were actually concerned about me, weren't you, Hyuuga?"
He replied rather weakly and whined out, "No, I wasn't. Uh...Hinata was." he blushed.
"Whatever," you mumbled. "...wanna get some ramen...?" you asked, blushing.
"...sure..." was all he said to reply.
You pushed him back to the ground and ran off laughing.
"What was that for?!?" He yelled, his face dirty from being smashed face-first into the ground.
"Better wash up! You're a mess!" you yelled right before you were out of hearing range.
***NEJI'S POV***
"Ugh. I'm so getting her back for this."I said with a blank face and a ticked off smirk.
Igot up and lumbered off towards the ramen shop. There was a stream along the way, soI stopped there to get the dirt offmy face.
***YOUR POV***
"Hello, there!" you said as you popped out from a tree.
Neji screamed and fell back from the surprise. Your face flushed blank and you landed beside him with an adorable smile nobody could resist.
***NEJI'S POV***
Irecovered from the startle. I looked up and there she was, smiling that adorable smile nobody could resist. My face was dripping wet from excitement and the stream, so I wiped it on my shirt.
"No!" she said. "Use this." she pulled a towel out of nowhere. I was a little freaked out, but I took the towel anyway. It smelled just like her. I sat there for a while with the towel to my face. Suddenly, Usagi got up and started towards the ramen shop. Sonner or later, I followed her.
***YOUR POV***
You ate one bowl each,you weren't that hungry.You paid the waitress andthen left.
"Thanks for paying for the ramen..." Neji said.
"You're welcome!" You smiled an irrisistable smile. Neji's heart practically melted. As you walked ahead, Neji struggled to build up the courage to tell you.
'Somehow...I have to tell her sooner or later...' he thought.
He ran up to you.
"Aaugh!!" you were startled and fell into him.
"Uh...gomen ne...(Sorry.)" you both said as you seperated and blushed a crimson red.
You realized it. You liked Neji. You reached towards his hand and gripped loosely to it. He blushed, and the two of you kept walking to Neji's house. Yeah, you liked him. And sooner or later, He'll admit it. He likes you.
When you got to the house, you saw a familiar face.
"Kiba! Hi! How've you been?" you grinned happily and let go of Neji's hand to hug Kiba.
"Mm, fine." he responded quite blandly.
"Be more happy!" you demanded.
"Fine!" he squealed.
Neji couldn't help but stand there smiling.
The three of you walked into the house.
Kiba said, "I heard you've been staying here, hm?" he smiled.
"Yeah, trouble with the demons -er- I mean parents." you whined innocently.
Kiba and Neji burst out laughing.
"So what've ya been doin' 'round here, if ya know what I mean, huh?" Kiba questioned.
You slapped him on the cheek so hard you couldn't see the triangles on them. Kiba winced.
"Take that back, dog-boy." you seethed through your teeth.
"Wow..." Neji whispered to Kiba as he rubbed his cheek from the pain. "She's scary."
The two sat there staring at you as if you were worse than the Akatsuki and Orochimaru mixed together.
You blushed and turned away.
"Uh...gomen ne, Kiba. Sorry, got a little carried away..." You blushed even more.
"S'kay, Usagi."
Trying to change the subject, you chirped, "Let's watch a movie!"
They both agreed and so you did so.
