June in December.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him even closer. His toung licked my bottem lip begging for entrance. I didn't let him enter my mouth, and I smiled. I felt him smirk, and he clearly had an idea. He gently bit my lip, and when I still didn't allow him to enter he bit my lip harder. I opened my mouth and his toung slid into the small opening and explored my mouth.

As soon as I relized what I was doing I pulled away. We were both out of breath.

"Why'd you pull away?" He asked.

"I can't do that just yet." I said just above a whisper. I looked down. "I'm sorry."

He grabbed my chin and lifted my head so I could look in his eyes. "Don't be." He said. "It's ok."
I smiled weakly, and he did to. He quickly kissed me one last time and the he let go of my chin and grabbed my hand.
"Lets go back to Haleys." He said quietly.
I stared down at our hands. "Alright."
We walked back to the entrance of the woods. I saw a figure, that looked like a girl, sitting on one of the rocks. I let go of his hand and walked over to the person.
"What the hell took you so long!" Haley said. "I've been waiting here for over thirty minutes."
I blushed once I relized we had been kissing for around fifteen minuets. "I'll tell you later." I said.
"You better." Haley said. Then she winked, and looked at Camren. "You like him don't you." She said in a quiet voice.
"I don't know." I said.
Haleys phone rang, it was her uncle. She got up and went into the woods far away from the road we were by. I sighed and watched her.
Two arms snaked around my waist aand pulled me close. I could feel there body heat, and thier warm breath right next to my ear.
"Hey." Camren whispred in my ear.
"Hey." I said back quietly.
"Gusse what." He said.
"What?" I asked.
"your a good kisser." He said.
"Am I?" I asked.
"Yes." He said. "Can I ask you something?"
I turned around an his arms fell from my waist. "I guess."
"Why cant you kiss me?" He asked.
"Im affraid." I said. I looked down.
"Of what?" He asked.
I looked up at him. "Of falling in love." I whispred. He was silent. "I don't want to get hurt. I've seen what it has done to my mother." I felt my eyes get teary.
He pulled me into a hug. "I would never hurt you." He whispred in my ear. "I promise."
I cried silently as he gently ran his fingures through my hair. I found it extreamly comforting.
I heard something in the woods, and I pulled away and stared at the opening. Haley came stumbeling out.
"Lets go." She said, as she came over to us.
We all walked back in silence. I Occasionaly looked over at Camren and he was either looking at me or the stars. When we reached Haleys house it was already two in the mourning.
"I have to go." Camren said. "I'll come over at noon tomorrow." He said.
"Ok." Haley said. She hugged him, and he hugged her quickly.
"Bye Cam." I said. I walked over and hugged him. He hugged me for along time.
Once he finnaly let go he looked at me and said "Bye guys."
He left the house, and I heard him walk down the stairs. Not even a minute later, Haley attacked me in hug.
"He is so hot!" She screamed.
"Yeah." I said, not very enthuseastic.
"And he is so in love with you!" She screamed.
"I guess." I said.
She let go of me and gave me a look. "What?" I asked.
"Lets go get in our pajamas." she said. "Then we'll talk."
I have this theroy, that if you look good when you go to bed a vampire prince will come and make you his princess. So I wore a pair of short black shorts, a black and neon green stripped tank top, and neon green leggings. I wear the leggigngs because if I didn't my ass would be hanging out. I brushed my hair and put it in a high ponytail. I walked downstairs and Haley was already there with our sleeping bags put down. She was wearing short black shorts dark blue leggings and a dark blue shirt that said 'Haters Make Me Famuse' In black letters, her hair was in a low ponytail. You can tell we go shopping together.
"Sit down and tell me everything!" She screeched.
"About what?" I asked.
I will posses your heart by Death Cab For Cutie was on fuse.
"Well, why did it take you an extra twenty minuets to get back to the entrence?" She asked.
"Well, I told Cam that I was sorry and I didn't mean it. Then I helped him up, and he pulled me against his chest. We stared at eachothe and the I tried to walk and he pulled me back. The we madeout for about fifteen minutes." I said.
She screeched and smiled and laghed all at the same time. "Do you like him?" She asked.
"Yes and no." I said. "Defenitly as a friend, but I'm not sure about anything more then that."
"Aw! Your no fun!" She said and she threw a pillow at me.
It broke out into a huge pillow fight. We fell asleep soon after that.
I woke up to the sound of knocking on the door. I looked at Haley and she wasstill asleep. I got up and looked at the clock. It was already twelve thirty. I sighed and walked to the door. I opened it and Camren was standing there in dark blue skinny jeans and a black 'the used' shirt. He was holding a halfdrunknesquick.
"Uh, goodmorning?" He said, walking in.
"Yeah yeah." I said. I walked over to him and grabed his nesquick. I opened it took a long sip and closed back up while walking into the den so we wouldn't wake up Haley in the liveing room.
The den had a nice stereo and a bookshelf and some of Haleys old toys and a small couch.
Camren ran after me. "Give that back!" He said.
"No!" I said takeing another sip and closeing it again.
He chraged at me and tackled me onto the couch. I dropped the nesquick and it rolled under the coffe table near the couch. I looked up at camren.
He was laying on top of me with knees on either side of my body. we stared at echother for a while, and then I looked into his eyes. I stared into them for a long while. Then I lifted my head and kissed him. I wraped my arms around his neck and gently pulled him down. This time when his toung brushed against my lip I let him in. I closed my eyes and let him explore my mouth again. We sat up and I shifted onto his lap without breaking the kiss.
My mind and body kept on telling me to stop, but my heart told me to keep going.I decided to listen to my heart foronce.
My hand went up his shirt and I felt his abs. I could feel him smile. I pulled his shirt off, and pushed him down so I could lay on top of him.We countinued to kiss.
"Amy, I think we should stop." Camren said inbetween kisses.
"Why?" I asked, still kissing him.
"Becuaseyou told me you don't want to fall in love because you don't want to get hurt. And Ipromised you I wouldn't hurt you." He said.
I pulled away from him and sat up. "Your right." I said out of breath. "Andwe shouldn't have let it happen."
"Your right." He said, sitting up and grabing his shirt. "We won't let it happen again." He slipped his shirt on and grabbed his nesquick.
I got up and walked into the liveing room still out of breath.
"Good morning." Haley said. She looked at me with a raised eyebrow. Camren came out of the den while fixing his hair. "What are you two up to?" She asked.
"Nothing." I said.
"Nesquick?" Camren offered to Haley.
She shook her head and looked at me. Just when I was about to give in my phone rang. I ran to my bag and answered it.
"Hello?" I said.
"Amy? Pleas come home."A shakey voicesaid, she sounded like she was scared.
"Lilly? Whats wrong?" I asked. I could feel the color draining from my face.
"It's mom." She said. "She won't wake up."
I felt my heart beat twice as fast and the panic grow over me. "Call 9-1-1. I'll be there as fast as I can." I said. "I love you."
I hung up the phone and put my shoes on in a hurry.
"Amy whats wrong?" Camren asked.
I didn't answer. I grabbed my sweatshirrt and zipped it up quickly.
"Amy." Haley said, trying to get me to answer.
I looked up at her. "My mom." I said. Thats all I could get out befor tears of panic ran down my face.
I ran out the door and to my house. It took my six minuets. I quickly ran into my room redid my poneytail and put a pair ofblack skinny jeans on. I put my shoes back on and looked in the mirror. My makeup from yesterday was running down my face as I cried. I ran to my moms room and saw her barley breathing and Lilly crying and holding her hand.
"Lilly." I said, and I grabbed her. "It's going to be ok."
I heard the sirens in another minute and ran down to the door.
"Her room is upstairs, second door to the left." I said.
Three men ran upstairs with a strecher and a police officer walked over to me.
"Do you have a dad?" He asked.
"He left us. I don't know where he is now." I said. I almost added 'And I don't care about him' But I stopped myself.
"Whats your name and age? Your sisters to." He said.
"My name is Amy. Im seventeen. My sisters name is Lilly, she only nine." I said, wipeing my tears.
"Do you have any other relitves?" He asked.
"No." I said.
"Do you have any place you can stay for the next couple of days?" He asked.
"My friend Haley. Lilly can stay at Shellys." I said. I gave the cop the parents cell numbers.
The three man came down the stairs with my mom in the strecher. I watched as she was put in the ambulance. Lilly ran down the stairs and grabbed me.
"Come with us. Haley will meet you at the hospital and Shellys dad will pick your sister up there to." The cop said.
We followed him into the police car and we were taken to the hospital. As soon as we got there I walked into the bathroom and Lilly stayed with the cop. I cleaned off my makeup and reapplied a thick layer of eyeliner, but not to thick.
When I came out Shellys dad was with Lilly.
"Im sorry about this." I said to him. "Thaks for takeing Lilly."
"Don't worry. It'll be ok. If you need anything just call me." He said. He hugged me quickly and I hugged Lilly.
"Thank you." I said. "Bye."
"Bye." Lilly said.
Once they were out of sight I walked up to the police officer.
"Can I see my mom?" I asked.
"No, I'm sorry. But you can leve her a note." He said, handing me a pice of paper and a pen.
Holding back my tears I wrote a quick note to my mom.
Dear mom,
I hope your ok. Lilly is at Shellys house, and I will be at Haleys. Pleas call me when you get the chance. I wnat to see you as soon as posible. I love you mom.
Love Amy.

I handed the note to the officer.
"Can you write down your cell number here?" He asked.
"Yeah." I said. I wrote it down quickly.
"Don't worry. Your mom will be fine." He said.
I resisted the urge to cry. How many time have I heard that? I walkedto the window and waited for Haley.After what felt like eternity, I saw Haley and Camren walking towards the hospital. Camen had a bag in his hand.
"Can I go now? I see Haley." I told the cop.
"Yes. We will call you as soon as your mom wakes up." He said.
"Thanks." I said.
I walked outside and took a deep breath. As soon as they saw me they came running over.Haley hugged me first.
"Amy I'm so sorry!" Shesaid.
Once she let go of me camren gently hugged me. I started crying. He ran his fingure throught my hair. We stood there in silence for a long time, untill I finnaly gaind my compuser.
"Are you ok now?" Haley asked quietly.
"Yeah." I said alittle hoarse.
"I bought you a nesquick." Camren said, holding out the bag with a smile on his face.
I couldn't help but smi;e back.
