Recap:"It's a long story. Let's get back to the others. They've been waiting for you."Sango said as Kirara turned around. Nodding Ambrosia followed her back to the others. Once again the group was reunited together. Hopefully this time nothing would separate them.
"Where the hell did you go!?" Inuyasha was clearly pissed yet the slight hint of worry in his eyes showed he cared.
"Well we went to go find Sesshoumaru and then," You cut off and looked at Ambrosia. Her gaze was fixed on the floor with a slight smile suppressing a laugh. "We got lost. I mean we found Sesshoumaru but making are way back to you we got lost."
"You went to see Sesshoumaru?" Inuyasha asked slightly irritated. "I thought-"
"I know. Stay away from him. He seemed... I don't know. Tranquil when we found him." You mumbled like a child being disciplined by their mother. "Though I doubt Sesshoumaru should be someone you should be worried about. He wasn't the one that attacked us."
Inuyasha looked like he could kill as he let out a loud breath and looked down at you. "What happened with Naraku?"
"Nothing." You said shrugging slightly. "Well he didn't get to. We were there for about a day and Ambrosia got us out of the dungeon he had us in."
Everyone seemed relieved as the change of tone floated around the air. The sun was high above the
sky like a hot blanket on a cold day making everything warmer.
"Well what happened with you guys?" Ambrosia said looking at the group.
"We got attacked by a demon." Miroku said looking at Sango as she nodded.
"Are you okay?" Ambrosia asked Sango as she nodded.
"He just slammed me into a tree." Sango said with a small nod.
"So it sounds like you guys had the usual." You said laughing lightly as everyone let out a small
chuckle.
"Yeah..." Inuyasha said looking a bit pensive. "Come on. We might as well find a river or something."
Nodding the group followed Inuyasha. Looking up at the sky you smiled and looked back down.
"Mari you coming?" Shippo asked smiling as he jumped on your shoulder.
"Of course Shippo." Letting out a small yawn you followed the group towards the nearest clearing, or whatever Inuyasha may have had in mind.

After about what seemed like three hours you came up on a small river, exactly what everyone was looking for.
"So Inuyasha are you letting us just relax for today?" You asked coming up next to him as you looked at the flowing river.
"I guess..." He said shrugging slightly.
"Who wants to go swimming!?" Ambrosia yelled smiling at everyone. Shippo followed her in as he laughed slightly and smiled at her.
Hearing a slight grumbling sound you laughed lightly to yourself. "You guys go ahead. I'll make something to eat. Miroku do you mind starting a fire for me real quick?"
"Not at all." Miroku said shaking his head and walking off in a certain direction.
"Inuyasha where's my... never mind." You said shaking your head and going over to Kirara. Taking the black book bag from her, you patted her head gently as she turned back into her small form. Walking back to where you wanted the fire to be you took out the small ramen bowls from your book bag, along with the small kettle. "Inuyasha, why don't you go swim with everyone else?"
"Don't want to." He said shrugging slightly as he looked at you.
"Well if you're sure." You mumbled and laid back on the ground looking up at the sky.
"You act like if nothing happened..." Inuyasha mumbled a small hint of confusion in his voice.
"Well am I suppose to be traumatized? I mean he didn't do anything to us." Turning to lay on your
side you prop yourself up with your elbow letting your brown eyes meet Inuyasha's amber ones.
"I would have thought-"
"Inuyasha I'm not like everyone else. It takes a lot more to scare me then putting me in a dungeon and not feeding me." You stated with a small chuckle. Nodding, Inuyasha turn his attention towards the trees as Miroku walked out with a stack of wood. Getting up you walk over to Miroku and smile at him. "Thanks Miroku. You can go with everyone else. I'll have Inuyasha start the fire since he's not doing anything."
"You're welcome Mari." Miroku said laughing lightly and walking over to the river bank.
Walking back to the small set up you had you placed the wood in a small circle with a few logs propped up against eachother.
"Well Inuyasha get to it." You told him laughing lightly.
"Hey! I'm not your pet!"
"No one said you where but if you want to be then that doesn't bug me at all." You told him with a small smirk as you walked over to the river. Dipping the kettle into the water you filled it a bit under the brim. Looking down at your reflection you let out a small sigh and ran your free hand threw your hair.
"Mari, are you coming swimming with us?" Shippo asked tilting his head slightly breaking you out of a small train of thought.
"Maybe after I'm done making you guys something to eat." Placing your hand on Shippo's head you ruffled his hair slightly and smiled at the small fox demon.
Nodding Shippo swam off in Ambrosia's direction and tagged her on the shoulder. Laughing to yourself you walked back to the now roaring fire that Inuyasha had set up.
"Hey so you aren't totally useless." You mumbled under your breath earning you a glare from Inuyasha.
"Who said I was useless?" Inuyasha asked his eyes slightly narrowed.
"Um... me." You said wrapping a towel around the handle of the kettle and holding it above the fire.
"You're one to talk."
"What do you mean by that?" You asked him arching an eyebrow.
"You don't do anything except getting in trouble." He said mumbling under his breath and crossing his arms.
"Well if I don't do anything I might as well stay home wouldn't you think?" You asked him your face holding a look of anger and slight pinch of hurt.
"No! I didn't mean it like that."
"Inuyasha I know what you ment. I'm sorry I'm not like Kagome or Kikyo. I get the hint." You told him shaking your head and placing the kettle on the floor. Opening the small ramen bowls you poored the water in each of them and got up from the ground.
"Mari you don't know what I was trying to say."
"And if I did would it make it better? Apparently I'm not exactly the person you wanted. I'm just sorry I
believed you." Looking over at everyone else you see them stop and stare at you. "Lunch is ready you guys... Sango I'm borrowing Kirara."
At the call of her name Kirara transformed into her large cat form as you jumped on her back.
"Mari you're over reacting!" Inuyasha yelled angrily as he looked at you.
"No I'm not. You've made it clear Inuyasha. I got the hint." Glaring at him you patted Kirara's side as she flew away from the clearing.
"The nerve of that bastard. To think he actually said he loved me. I'm such an idiot..." Letting out a deep sigh you blinked as your vision became a large blur. Feeling the tears hit your cheeks like wax on a candle you wiped your face only to have more of the tears fall. Feeling your cheeks become hot you tried to keep your breaths steady as they started to make you jump slightly. Closing your eyes you let a few more tears fall. "I just want to go home..."
