I was still sitting with Gaara who was asleep leaning against me with his head resting on my stomach as I sang softly while tracing spirals on the arm that was closest to me

we walked down stairs to your room and I opened the door while Gaara stood to the side humming something

you then covered your head with a pillow as Kankuro sat up annoyed

he mumbled out looking around still half asleep with his eyes half liddedand pointing at the wall
me-whatever you say but when you guys do wake up and it's twelve a clock at night you can't blame me
I laughed as I walked out knowing that you would wake up in a minute
me and Gaara started walking down the hall when we heard a loud scream and cussing
you-DAMM%T! YUMI I'M GONNA KICK YOUR ASS!!!!
me-heh heh that'll teach em
I smirked and continued on my way
(just to let ya know what happened: I had set up a trap so ice water would spill all over you to wake you up)
Gaara was walking slightly to the right of me and alittle behind but when I turned to ask him something he wasn't there I woke up Sasuke and Rylie dodging a book and getting hit by a desk and then for the rest of the people I used my little traps and made small explosions go off in each room waking everyone up as I walked back to my "hiding" place I plugged my ears waiting
everyone-D#MMIT! YUMI! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!
echoed around the house from all the rooms
me-heh heh heh I've warned em it's there faults
I then made a clone of myself so I could chill in my "room" I guess you could call it
me-(to my clone)okay you know what has to be done and take Tsuki with you

when that was done I teleported to my room and looked around yawning slightly I then looked at the small calander I had and scanned it for any thing coming up
me-kuso!(sh!t)
I read the calender again to double check but there it was in big letters

oh no now Gaara's gonna be all weird today I really hope he doesn't---
but before I could finish that thought I felt a pair of arms slip around my waist and Gaara seductively whisper in my ear

I shivered as his breath tickled my neck and he nuzzled it lovingly
me-G-Gaara you need t-to control Shukaku you know I can't help you when you get like this
Gaara-who said this had anything to do with Shukaku?
he whispers in my ear as he traces the curve of my neck with his nose

he mumbled into my neck as his sand gently wrapped around us and brought us to the bed he sat down and grabbed my hand pulling me down with him

he laid down one hand still holding mine and pulled me to him so my head was on his chest then with his other hand he began to stroke my hair softly as I played with his sand and it sifted through my fingers and made little swirls and designs he started humming and I was so tired that I drifted off to sleep

I woke up when I felt warm skin against my stomach and when I looked down I saw Gaara's arm draped over me loosely he had accidently shifted my shirt so his arm was on my bare skin I turned my head and looked at him he looked so peaceful and happy...he had his shirt off and his arm wrapped firmly around my waist I traced his kanji softly making sure not to wake him he smiled and held me tighter
Gaara-*in his sleep*Yumi
I remembered the first time when we figured out we could sleep when we where together
~Flashback~(7&6 years old)

me-Gaara!
Gaara-hmm?
me-guess what Gaara!
Gaara-what?
me-I thought we should try something!
Gaara-what is it?
me-well ya know how I can calm down Shukaku maybe if I'm with you you can go to sleep!

we both went home and turned on a movie
me-what movie should we watch?
Gaara-a scary one!

so I turned on a really scary movie and sat next to Gaara holding his arm tightly
in the middle of the movie Kankuro snuck in and me being entranced by the movie noticed but it didn't register ...so when he came behind me and tackled me I screeched and jumped on Gaara chucking my pillow at Kitty's head
me-BAKA KITTY!!!!
kankuro-I told you to stop calling me that!
just then a monster jumped out on the screen and I squeaked clutching onto Gaara as his sand twirled around us calming me down I curled up in Gaara's arms which where wrapped around me and restsed my head on his chest the movie went off so I started humming while making up a song I started singing softly and moved from Gaara's lap noticing he was asleep Shukaku started to come out but when I kissed the kanji on his forehead he was still again so I sat with Gaara's head in my lap as I played with his hair and hummed my song 'till he woke up
Gaara-what happened Yumi!?
me-you fell asleep
I smiled
Gaara-but what about Shukaku?
me-he tried to come out but when I kissed your kanji he stopped
Gaara-oh...maybe it'll work the other way around?
me-huh? me sleep? we might as well give it a try...
he sat up and pulled me to him as I rested my head on his chest he started humming the same tune and I smiled while driftng off to sleep
~End Flashback~
I woke up when I felt the warmth leave I looked up and saw Gaara sitting up looking at me with a strange look in his eyes--oh no!
Gaara-what's wrong love?
me-Gaara! control yourself!
he layed back down pulling me to him
geez it's never been this bad before! usually after I get him to go to sleep he calms down
he nuzzles into my neck holding me close
Gaara's Pov
I knew that she thoughtthat all thiswas just Shukaku so I used that to my advantage pulling her close I nuzzled into her neck taking in her scent
I ran my lips against the cool skin of her neck and collarbone as she shuddered under my touch
Yumi-G-Gaara st-stop please....
I loved how she said my name so perfectlyhow it just rolled off her tongue I loved the way how only around she wouldget flusteredand start stutteringor when she fell asleep she would cling to me like her life depended on it and yet she looked so calm and beautiful
me-why?
I whispered into her ear pulling her closer and then right then I made up my mind .... I was going to tell her
I nipped at her neck as she sighed and I felt her body relax against mine I could tell she was slightly panicked because she's not used to this kind of contact
so I pulled her close and turned her around to face me letting the sand flow around her (for some reason it always calms her down)
me-relax love your okay
Yumi-why do you keep calling me love!?
I could see she was upset so I hugged her and made her sit up with me I then pulled her into my lap and rested my head on her shoulder
me-because I love you
Yumi-I wish you really did but this is just Shukaku talking and when we wake up tomorrow you won't feel the same way
she then got up before I could stop her and started walking away when she collapsed
me-Yumi!
I caught her with my sand and craddled her rocking her back and forth slowly bringing her to me I checked her wounds and then picked her up and held her to me
me-I really do love you and it isn't Shukaku

she snuggled into me and when I looked down at her I saw she had woken up

she then stood up and slipped out of her shirt grabbing another larger one and slipping it on I got up and went behind her and as I was about to wrap my arms around her she turned and squeaked backing up against the wall

she stuck her tongue out childishly and acting on impulse I bit it (lightly of course) but when I did she pulled away and licked my nose

she laughed and slipped off the jeans she was wearing pulling ona pair of MY boxers
me-yeah well those are MY boxers so I think I should get something of yours as a trade

she smirked and handed me a bra

she stuck her tongue out at me again and again I bit it lightly but this time I didn't let go I pulled her closer and pressed my lips against hers and what surprised me is she kissed back I ran my tongue along her bottom lip asking for entrance as I pulled her to the bed she parted her lips a little and let my tongue slip in but whenI did she smirked and lightly bit it before pulling away she slipped out of my arms and walked towards the door
I grumbled annoyed that she had got away
me-come back
I whined pouting
Yumi-awww don't worry I'm just grabbing a movie and some snacks I'll be right back
she then slipped out the door I made my sand eye follow her when I saw her turn on music and dance around the kitchen getting everything we need

I cuddled into him smiling as the movie started

I jumped again as the montser almost caught the girl Gaara held me tighter to him and pressed pause
Gaara-how is it that you are so scared of a movie yet if you where faced with this in real life you would be able to sit there totally calm?
me-I dunno but turn it back on!

he sighed and chuckled slightly as he turned it back on
soon the movie ended and I was sitting there crying
me-how could they *sniffle* do that to him! *choke sniffle* it was so sad! *sob*
Gaara-I do not understand you woman!
me-*sniffle* it was so saaaaaad!
he hugged me with a confused look on his face as he kissed my neck
Gaara-c'mon love it was a movie!
me-still it *sniff* was really sad! I mean how could they kill him he was just trying to protect her! *sniff*oh well *deep breath* hmmm what should we do now?
