Chapter 1 : JB Story (Joe) 001:
~~~~~~~~~~Chapter One~~~~~~~~~~
Name: Sarah Davidson
~*~*~*~STORY~*~*~*~
~~~Sarah's POV~~~
"All right, let's practice."
Sarah said while opening the garage and seeing that her band was already in her garage.
"Leave the garage open, maybe we'll get people to come and watch again."
Sarah's best friend Cindy said. Sarah stood in front of the mic and looked at everyone in back of her. Three years ago her friends and her decided that they wanted to do a group thing together so they decided that they would make their own band and learn how to play some instruments. Sarah ended up being the lead singer because everyone thought that she sounded the best, Sarah's best friend Cindy, or CJ, is the back up singer and plays the electric guitar, Sarah's one friend, and cousin, Jake, plays the drums. There was also a two other kids in Sarah's area that could play really well and were good friends, Kurt who could play the bass guitar and is another back up singer, Kurt could do that screaming thing that most guys do in bands, like the dude from A.F.I, Disturbed, etc. (Well you get the idea, I hope.) And last but not least, there was Evin (Kind of like Kevin, without the K.), Evin is awesome on the key boards and can is good at doing some sound effects, he doesn't talk much, but as soon as he starts playing the music talks for him. And what do we call our little band you ask, well at first we were really bored and wanted to call ourselves, PB&J, but that only lasted a few hours, and then they thought of calling their selves seventeen, because they all were seventeen, but then they realized that they weren't going to be seventeen forever, so then finally they changed their band name to JESCK (JE-SICK). They just basically put the first initial of each person and formed some kind of word. It's weird but it worked, kind of.
"Let's go!"
Sarah yelled into the mic, and the band started to perform.
"I'm in the business of misery, let's take it from the top
She's got a body like an hourglass it's tickin' like a clock
It's a matter of time before we all run out...
When I thought he was mine, she caught him by the mouth
I waited eight long months, she finally set him free
I told him I couldn't lie, he was the only one for me
Two weeks and we'd caught on fire
She's got it out for me, but I wear the biggest smile
Whoa, I never meant to brag
But I got him where I want him now
Whoa, it was never my intention to brag
To steal it all away from you now
But God does it feels so good
'Cause I got him where I want him now
And if you could then you know you would
'Cause God it just feels so...
It just feels so good
Second chances they don't ever matter, people never change
Once a whore, you're nothing more, I'm sorry that'll never change
And about forgiveness, we're both supposed to have exchanged
I'm sorry honey, but I passed it up, now look this way!
Well there's a million other girls who do it just like you
Looking as innocent as possible to get to who,
They want and what they like, it's "easy if you do it right"
Well I refuse, I refuse, I refuse!
Whoa, I never meant to brag
But I got him where I want him now
Whoa, it was never my intention to brag
To steal it all away from you now
But God does it feel so good
'Cause I got him where I want him right now
And if you could then you know you would
'Cause God it just feels so...
It just feels so good...
I watched his wildest dreams come true
Not one of them involving you
Just watch my wildest dreams come true
Not one of them involving...
Whoa, I never meant to brag
But I got him where I want him now...
Whoa, I never meant to brag
But I got him where I want him now
Whoa, it was never my intention to brag
To steal it all away from you now
But God does it feels so good
'Cause I got him where I want him now
And if you could then you know you would
'Cause God it just feels so...
It just feels so good"
By the end of the first song people already started coming to the garage door and watching. Sarah's little brother and sister were sitting in the Davidson driveway, Katie, 12, and Kevin, 9. And their friends were crowding around them. Sarah smiled to herself as the band started to play a new song.
"I got a lot to say to you
Yeah, I got a lot to say
I noticed your eyes are always glued to me
Keeping them here
It makes no sense at all
They taped over your mouth
Scribbled out the truth with their lies
Your little spies
They taped over your mouth
Scribbled out the truth with their lies
Your little spies
Crush
Crush
Crush
Crush, crush
(Two, three, four!)
Nothing compares to a quiet evening alone
Just the one, two of us who's counting down
That never happens
I guess I'm dreaming again
Let's be more than, this
If you want to play it like a game
Well, come on, come on, let's play
I'd rather waste my life pretending
Than have to forget you for one whole minute
They taped over your mouth
Scribbled out the truth with their lies
Your little spies
They taped over your mouth
Scribbled out the truth with their lies
Your little spies
Crush
Crush
Crush
Crush, crush
(Two, three, four!)
Nothing compares to a quiet evening alone
Just the one, two of us who's counting down
That never happens
I guess I'm dreaming again
Let's be more than this now
Rock and roll, baby
Don't you know that we're all alone now?
I need something to sing about
Rock and roll, hey
Don't you know, baby, we're all alone now?
I need something to sing about
Rock and roll, hey
Don't you know, baby, we're all alone now?
Give me something to sing about
Nothing compares to a quiet evening alone
Just the one, two of us who's counting down
That never happens
I guess I'm dreaming again
Let's be more than
O-o-o-o-oh
Nothing compares to a quiet evening alone
Just the one, two of us who's counting down
That never happens
I guess I'm dreaming again
Let's be more than
More than this
Oh"
In the middle of the song, Sarah's mom and dad got home and parked their car on the street so that people could watch. Sarah's parents were the most awesome people in the world, so laid back at times, but then serious when they needed to be, Antoinette, or Toni, mom, and Kevin, dad, both stood next to their younger son and daughter and watched as their older daughter rock out. As soon as Sarah was finished with the one song Sarah's mom and dad walked over and smiled at the band and walked through the garage and into the house.
"Let's do a few more songs… We need practice the new song for the talent show that's in two days."
Cindy said and everyone agreed.
"Hey, Kev… We're doing your favorite song."
Sarah said and then the band started to play.
"Hey (hey) Miss Murder Can I
Hey (hey) Miss Murder Can I
Make beauty stay if I
Take my life
Whoa oh oh
With just a look
They shook
And heavens bowed before him.
Simply a look
Can break
Your heart .
The stars that pierce the sky
He left them all behind
We're left to wonder why
He left us all
Behind
Hey Miss Murder Can I
Hey Miss Murder Can I
Make beauty stay if I
Take my life
Whoa oh oh
Dreams of his crash
Won't pass
Or how they all adored him
Beauty will last
When spiralled
Down
The stars that mystified
He left them all behind
And how his children cry
He left us all
Behind
Hey Miss Murder Can I
Hey Miss Murder Can I
Make beauty stay if I
Take my life
Whoa oh oh
What's the hook, the twist within this verbose mystery?
I would gladly bet my life upon it
That the ghost you love, you ray of light will fizzle out
Without hope
We're the empty set just flowing through wrapped in skin
Ever searching for what we were promised
Reaching for the golden ring we'd never let go
Who would ever let us put their filthy hands upon it?
Hey Miss Murder Can I
Hey Miss Murder Can I
Make beauty stay if I
Take my life
Whoa oh
Hey Miss Murder Can I
Hey Miss Murder Can I
Make beauty stay if I
Take my life
Whoa oh
When they finished that song they played it again so that they could really know the song, Sarah saw that more people were coming and that there were new people their taping them with their cell phones, and cameras. Sarah smirked and looked back towards Cindy and Jake to see them shaking their heads and smirking. Kurt was taking a few gulps of water because in the new song, they called 'Miss Murder' Kurt gets his own little solo with his screaming thing. It can be a little creepy at times, and must really hurt to do it at times, but it sounded right with the new song.
~~~Mr. Davidson's POV~~~
Him and Mrs. Davidson were in the kitchen when he heard Sarah and her band play a song twice.
"Why are they doing that, sweetie?"
"What?"
"Playing the song twice."
"Because remember, that's their new song, and their performing at the talent show."
"When's the talent show?"
"Look on the calendar."
Mr. Davidson nodded his head and walked to the calendar and saw that the talent show at Sarah's high school was in two days.
"It's in two days, honey."
"Oh."
Mrs. Davidson said while hugging her husband and then picking up the phone when it started to ring.
"Hello… Why do you ask?… Really?… When?… Yeah… All three of them like that band… When?,.. Uh, probably around three in the afternoon he should come… Yeah, I'll be home early that day… Sure… Thank you so much Maryellen… Sarah and her band will appreciate this so much… Yeah… Yeah, that's them playing… Well thank you… I'll let her know… Talk to you soon… All right… Love to too, sis… Bye."
Mrs. Davidson hung up the phone and then smiled while hugging her husband.
"What's going on?"
"Maryellen, was looking something up on line because she was bored and stuff when she came to this website for new bands… She sent a message to the manager or owner of the website and it turned out to be the same manager of the Jonas Brothers."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"All three of the kids like them."
"Katie and Sarah are in love with them."
"I think I can tell, they have picture's all over their bedroom."
"Yeah, but anyways, he replied back t o her to send a video of the kids playing and when she sent it he replied back quickly saying that he loved them and that he wanted to meet the kids in person and that he would be bringing the Jonas Brothers along to make sure that the band was for real."
"Wow."
"I know… Sarah's going to be so excited… Image… Our baby girl, performing for thousands of people."
Mrs. Davidson said while getting excited and then walking out side to get some fresh air. Mr. Davidson followed her and hugged her from behind.
"Kevin, our baby girl is growing up… She's seventeen now, she'll be eighteen in three months."
Mrs. Davidson said while starting to tear up.
"She's graduating high school in two months too… Then she'll be going off to college."
Mr. Davidson said and smiled while thinking about his seventeen, straight A, beautiful, first daughter.
"I was the one who taught her how to play the sing and you taught her how to play the guitar, and then she went to classes to get better… And now you're teaching Kevin how to play the guitar too."
Mrs. Davidson said and then went back inside as she heard the one door close and then music stop.
"Mom… Hey mom… Dad"
"Yeah honey."
Mr. Davidson said while popping up behind Sarah.
"Do you mind if we go to the mall or something, they just said in the newspaper that their was a new guitar shop their and that it just opened, everything's on sale… Besides, I want to look at guitars to get CJ a new one; her's is getting old… The whole band was going to chip in."
Sarah said and then Mr. Davidson threw the keys to the jeep towards Sarah.
"I have my phone on if you need me… We'll left after we clean up… Bye… Love ya."
Sarah yelled and then left…Did you like this story? Make one of your own!
