Sasuke just looked at Naruto with no interest at all. But inside, he's laughing like hell.

"I can't believe I'm PURPLE!!!" Naruto started running around in circles, causing Mei and Sakura to laugh even more.

"It's so troublesome to ask, but what's so funny?" Shikamaru said walking from behind Sasuke.

"Naruto think he's wearing purple." Sasuke said.

Shikamaru stared at Naruto.

"He is. He's caught in a genjutsu."

"Man you're smart. Weirdo." Mei said to Shikamaru.

"Hey Shikamaru. This is Mei, from Kusagakure. And th-"

"Shikamaru Nara. I know." Mei said interrupting with a smile.

"What are you? Psychic?" Naruto yelled as he performed the release jutsu.

It didn't work.

"Kai."

Still didn't work.

"Kai."

Still didn't work.

After many tries, Naruto gave up.

"What the hell? Why won't it work?"

"It'll only work on my command Whiskers." Mei said giggling since he was so exhausted.

"WHAT?! Why didn't you tell me this earlier?" Naruto said pointing at Mei.

"You never asked." ^^

"I wonder how Mei is doing over in Konoha..." Lily wondered.

"Knowing her, she's probably causing trouble for someone already." Fai said sighing.

"Yeah... that's true."

"We're almost to Konoha, yeah." Deidara said to Tobi.

"Okay!" Tobi threw his hands up into the air.

Deidara rolled his eyes.

"What is it Deidara-senpai?"

"Nothing un."

"..."

'How come sometimes he's quiet, and sometimes he's not?' Deidara thought.

"Look senpai!" Tobi pointed up ahead.

They both saw Konoha's walls. It was huge. But of course, they could easily fly over, or walk through. But they might be noticed.

"Let's go and walk senpai!" Tobi said, eagerly.

"No. We can't ge spotted, yeah. We have to find Kisame and Itachi un."

"Fine." Tobi crossed his arms and started pouting.

"Don't pout un."

"..."

Deidara rolled his eyes once more as he searched for Itachi and Kisame.

"Do you see them yet Itachi?" Kisame asked.

"No. But they should be in the air somewhere."

"Even so, I don't see them." Kisame started to get annoyed by the minute.

"Just calm down Kisame."

"Whatever."

"I'm gonna kill you Mei!!!" Naruto yelled.

"Say that a bit louder." Mei smiled.

Naruto did, but in return, Kakashi appeared and covered Naruto's mouth.

"Shut up Naruto. You're too loud."

"Bwt swe sparpd ip!" Naruto tried to say.

"I can't understand you Whiskers! Bite his hand and yell it out to the whole world!" Mei giggled a bit.

Kakashi withdrew his hand quickly before it met it's doom with Naruto's teeth.

Then Naruto yelled. "But she started it!" He pointed at her.

"Who me?" Mei smiled and pointed to herself innocently.

"She's faking it Kakashi sensei!"

"Naruto. Stop picking fights. Now, are you the grass ninja that was sent here with Sakura?"

"Me? No. I'm not."

"Then who are-"

"That is her!" Naruto yelled.

"And what if I'm not?" Mei yelled back, smiling.

"She is Kakashi sensei." Sakura said.

"Thanks for the help Sakura." Mei smiled.

"You're welcome." Sakura said, noticing the sarcasm in Mei's voice.

"Oh, then follow me...name?"

"Mei Murasaki."

"Follow me Mei. You well need to see the hokage."

"And if I don't see her?"

"Just come."

"Okay." ^^

'This girl is weird.' Kakashi thought.

There was a knock at Tsunade's door.

"Come in." She said lazily.

"Lady Tsunade, here's the girl from Kusa."

"Hm..."

"I can't see her." Mei said closing her eyes with a smile.

"Open your eyes."

She did.

"I still can't see her. Where are you Ms. Hokage?" Mei said, searching the room.

"Is she another brat?" Tsunade said annoyed.

"I'm not a brat." Mei snapped with a smile.

'Interesting. She snaps at me, but has a smile on.' Tsunade thought.

"Let me guess. You think I'm weird?" Mei said smiling.

"How did you know?"

"I get that a lot!" Mei smiles, showing her teeth.

"You don't look pretty tough. What's your name?"

"Mei Murasaki. And I'm not really that strong. I mean, compared to a sannin and a hokage."

"Oh, really?"

"I don't know. I don't like to show off my abilities that much." Mei smiled.

"Why don't we fight. Let's see who's the stronger ninja."

"That's kind of unfair, isn't it?"

"What do you mean?"

"Odds are, Sannin against Jounin. *smirks* I like it!"

'This girl is strange, yet interesting...' Tsunade thought.

"Alright. Let's have this match at the training grounds." Kakashi said, interrupting the two.

"Okay!" Mei smiled.

Tsunade and Kakashi had anime sweatdrops.

"What are you all waiting for? To the training ground!!!" Mei said with a large smile.

"You're really weird." Tsunade said.

"And you're an old drunkard slash hag."

"What did you call me?!" Tsunade said with an anime vein.

"You heard me. Unless you like to be called a sloth."

Tsunade growled. "You're pushing it."

"Pushing what? Pushing you down a hill?" Mei started to giggle a bit as Kakashi still had his sweat drop.

"Why don't I push you down a hill?"

"We can see how far I roll down too!" Mei said happily.

Tsunade's eye twitched a bit. "You're weird."

"And you're an old hag." Mei smiled.

"That's it, you're going down."

"Down? Down where?" Mei looked to the side frantically (still keeping her smile).

"Don't smart talk me."

"Who said I was smart talking?" Mei smiled.

"Let's just get this over with." Tsunade rolled her eyes.

"Kay." ^^

'Her personality is weird. Why did the Murasaki family have to send their daughter? Why not her father, the anbu?' Tsunade thought.

"So, here's where we fight, eh?" Mei asked.

"Yeah."

They both got into a fighting stance.

'I wonder if Lady Hokage will be able to defeat Mei. I couldn't...' Sakura thought as she remembered her fight with Mei. (me: go back to chapter two if you can't remember.)

"Come on." Tsunade said.

"Come on what?" Mei asked, pretending to be confused.

"Let's just get this over with." Tsunade said with a sigh.

Mei nodded and as she spreaded her arms out. Tsunade was ready for a jutsu, but instead, flowers started to come out of her sleeves.

"Huh?" Tsunade raised an eyebrow.

Soon, millions of flowers stood on the ground. Yes. Stood. They had faces too. They all smiled. The odd thing was, they were all purple. No color of green was on it, indicating the leaves or stem. The leaves were like arms and the roots were like legs. (me: if you watch pokemon or whatever, it's like bellsprout but purple. hehehe. i haven't watched that in forever.) The flowers all stood in a circle around Tsunade, her having a confused look.

'I've never seen any kind of jutsu like this before.' Tsunade thought.

'Whoa.' Naruto thought.

'She's still weird.' Sasuke thought.

'Amazing.' Sakura thought.

'Weird.' The rest of the other jounins thought.

"You people think this is weird, right?" ^^ Mei asked.

They all looked at her like she was some sort of mind reader.

"What? I'm okay with it. My flowers! Attack!" ^^

The flowers jumped at Tsunade, but hit a clone jutsu.

'Wow. She's still has the advantage.' Mei smiled even wider.

She moved to inches to the left, dodging Tsunade's punch.

"What the?!"

"You missed."

Tsunade punched Mei again, but she jumped into the air. The flowers flew up to her and stuck to her like magnet. Soon, Mei was completely enveloped in flowers and was a giant dragon like thing. Everyone looked at it with awe.

"Scatter." Mei whispered.

The flowers grew sharp and split apart, aiming for Tsunade like sharp-like needles. Luckily for her, she dodged it just in time. Mei landed on her feet gently.

'Hm... there's gotta be some sort of weakness...' Mei scanned her area a bit more closely.

She knew her flowers weren't really of use to her, since Tsunade kept on using clones. She needed a least a speck of purple on her clothing... but how? She smiled to herself as she figured out a plan.

"Right. Left. Left. Right. Left. Up. Down. Left. Left." Mei chanted, over and over again.

'What is she up to?' Tsunade thought.

"Left. Down. Left. Left. Left. Right. Stop." Mei concentrated on her left eye. Underneath the eyepatch, the pupil of her eye would be swirling, and form the shape of a flower with five petals. It spinned counterclockwise, then clockwise. It went in the directions Mei chanted earlier.

Right. Left. Left. Right. Left. Up. Down. Left. Left. Left. Down. Left. Left. Left. Right. Stop.

And when the flower stopped spinning, it landed on the ground infront of Tsunade.

"3...2...1..." Mei smiled even bigger.

'Seriously. What is she up to?' Tsunade thought again, not concentrating on avoiding the attack.

The flower pupil in Mei's eye grew large, making the whole left side of her face covered with flower petals. Everyone else stared at what she was doing and wondered about it. Tsunade looked at Mei's left eye, and sees a slight change in it's color. Instead of a pupil, she saw herself there. Standing where the pupil should've been.

'This is gonna be bad.' She thought and jumped a few feet back.

Mei's smiled reached it's limits and giant flower roots rised right where Tsunade was standing before previously.

"Left." Mei said.

The root hit the ground to it's left, making Tsunade jump into the air again.

'What is going on?!' Tsunade thought, wanting to watch her attacks, then fighting against it.

"Up in the sky."

And up the root went.

'I gotta end this quick, before it turns out bad, luckily, her parents gave me something before she arrived to Konoha.' Tsunade smirked and took out the vial in her pocket.

Purple liquid. Otherwise, known as Pure Purple. Weird. Tsunade disappeared and reappeared behind Mei, forcing her to drink the vial. Mei gulped it all down, the root deteriorated(is that the word?), the flower marking on her face disappeared, and her pupil went back to normal.

"Woozy." Mei smiled and blacked out into Tsunade's arms.

"You won Granny Tsunade!!!" Naruto cheered.

"No. I didn't."

Everyone grew silent.

"What are you talking about?"

"If I didn't stop her now, she would've killed me."

"What? That's impossible, right?" Naruto said in disbelief.

"No. She's stronger than she thinks. I wonder if she knows that..."

"But Granny Tsunade! Sh-"

"Quiet Naruto. The vial I just gave to her is merely a potion to calm her down."

Naruto looked away, disappointed that Mei was sort of able to beat Tsunade. Shizune came to aid Mei, along with Sakura. Soon everyone left except three people, Sakura, Naruto, and Sasuke.

"I can't believe it." Naruto said.

"Get over it." But then, Sasuke was really angry too.

"Come on guys. Tsunade is just saying that. I know that Mei isn't that strong to beat her." Sakura said, trying to cheer them up.

"Hm... this Mei girl sounds strong..." A guy said out of boredom.

"Like I really care Kisame." Itachi said boredly too.

"Come on Itachi. Let's grab her and see if Leader wants her."

"We have enough members as it is."

"You're just bluffing. You hate the fact that she's stronger than you, right?"

"Shut up Kisame."

Kisame smirked.

"I see them. Hm." Deidara said, pointing to Kisame and Itachi.

"Look Senpai! Tobi spotted them first!" Tobi also pointed to them.

Deidara's eye twitched a bit. "Whatever."

He guided the bird down to the other two.

"Hi Itachi! Hi Kisame!" Tobi said, waving his hand around.

"Shut up Tobi!" The other three said in unison.

Tobi immediately closed his mouth.

"What took you so long?" Kisame asked.

"We took our time here, yeah. Is that a problem? Hm?"

Kisame growled lightly and rolled his eyes.

"That would be a yes...un."

"Let's hurry and get the jinchuuriki." Itachi said.

The four of them diverted their attention to a girl staring at them.

"Who are you hm?" Deidara asked.

"I should be asking you the same." She smiled.

"Aren't you that one girl who just blacked out earlier?" Kisame asked.

"Wow, I got stalkers." The smile stayed upon her lips.

"I'm Deidara, *points to Tobi*That's Tobi, *points to Kisame*That's Kisame, *points to Itachi*And that's Itachi Uchiha."

"I already know that." Mei said boredly, but her smile still in place.

"She's weird senpai." Tobi said cheerfully.

"I know!" Mei's face brightened.

Kisame and Deidara's eye twitched. "Really weird.(yeah)"

Mei yawned.

"So what's your name? Hm?" Deidara asked once more.

"Didn't we already go through the introductions?"

"Tobi's a good boy!" He threw his arms in the air.

"Aww, you got a cheerful one out of the group." Mei smiled.

"I'll cheer you up." Kisame said, getting ready to pull out his sword.

"I don't wanna fight you. I'm tired. So uh... I'll leave you in ruins." Mei smiled and disappear in a whirl of flower pedals.

"Who was that un?" Deidara asked the other two.

"Mei Murasaki." Kisame answered.

"Mei?" Tobi questioned.

"Yes. Mei." Kisame said annoyed.

'Those people are strange. Very awkward too.' Mei yawned once again.

Mei quickly went back to the hospital, making sure no one noticed she was gone. She closed her eyes, pretending to sleep. She heard faint footsteps coming towards her door.

That person sat beside Mei.

'I wonder who it is. I guess a little peek won't hurt.'

She opened her eyes a bit and sees Sakura.

"You're up." She smiled warmly.

"No. You're imagining things."

Mei quickly closed her eyes.

"Lady Tsunade says that when you wake up, she needs to talk to you."

"I'm not up yet." Mei smiled.

Sakura rolled her eyes and pulled Mei out of the room.

"What are you doing Sakura? Are you trying to discharge me from the hospital?"

"You've been discharged ever since you woke up, now let's go."

She was even more aggravated.

"Go where? To the moon?"

"Shut up Mei!"

"My name's not Mei, it's Sakura."

"NO! My name is Sakura."

"Are you sure about that?"

"Yes!"

"Then say that your name is Mei."

"My name is not Mei!"

"Yes it is!"

"No it's not!"

All the while they were arguing, Sakura still has been pulling Mei to the Hokage's office. Tsunade sat on her chair, waiting impatiently until she heard some bickering from behind her door.

"Come in."

The door opened to reveal the two jounins.

"Shut up!" Sakura shouted.

"What if I don't want to?!" Mei retorted.

"I sa-"

"QUIET!!" Tsunade snapped.

Sakura shut her mouth as Mei looked at Tsunade with a smile.

"Mei, I need you to go with Naruto."

"Why would I want to go out with him? He's too young."

Tsunade rolled her eyes.

"I meant you and Naruto are going to be on a mission."

"Really? Where? Where's this mission? I wanna be on top of it!" Mei said eagerly.

Sakura's eye twitched a bit as Tsunade, once again, rolled her eyes.

"Quit it. This is serious."

^^ "Why is it so serious?"

"Because Akatsuki is still after Naruto."

"Your point?" ^^

"If they get Kyuubi from Naruto, then it will be disaster to the whole world. We need to stop them from retreiving the last one."

"So... you mean that Whiskers is the last one with a bijuu alive?" ^^

"Yeah. This is an A-Ranked mission too."

"Jeez. No one told me it was going to be so hard."

"Mei, I'm serious. If they get their hands on it-"

"Yeah, yeah. I know. World disaster. I got it." Mei smiled boredly.

"Wipe that smile off your face and go protect Naruto."

"So why is he on this mission too?"

"Because he's going to be sending a letter to the Kazekage and I want you to accompany him."

"Why not Sakura?"

"Mei." Tsunade hissed.

Mei's face turned serious for once in a long time, shocking both Sakura and Tsunade.

"Fine. I'll do it. But I don't guarantee that he'll come back in full pieces." Her voice was cold.

'What's up with her? She's all serious... it's scary.' Tsunade thought.

'She's really weird...and scary...' Sakura thought.

"Alright then. That'll still work, as long as he's still in good shape, everything will be fine."

Mei managed a smile and left, with thoughts not really processing through her mind. All she knew was that this mission was going to be very important. She sighed as she was on her way to meet Naruto. She pulled out a slip of paper out of her pocket.

Mei chuckled a bit.

'I can't believe I forgot about this...'

She looked up to the sky, recalling her memories.

Mei was running in the fields of Kusagakure. She smiled happily as she twirled round and round. She closed her eyes and ran in a random direction. Trip. She fell over something...or someone.

"Ow..." The little boy said.

Mei looked at the boy, his hair was a raven-black and his eyes were also black. She tilted her head to the side, which made her unbelievably cute.

"Did I hurt you?" She asked.

"No. Not really. Why do you have that on your eye?"

"Huh? *touches eyepatch* Oh, this. I dunno. Why?"

"I'm just wondering."

"Oh. What's your name?"

"---" (Mei couldn't remember his name)

"Hi ---! I'm Mei Murasaki." ^^

"Hi Mei." He smiled back to her.

"Let's play!"

He nodded. They started to meet each other at the same spot everyday, until one day, Mei was on her way to meet him.

"Psst. Little girl, come here." A man said.

Mei looked at him.

"Yes?"

"Can you do something for me?"

"Why?"

"Because some people took my things, and they won't give it back."

"That's mean!"

"So can you help me get it?"

"Uh-huh!"

"It's over there, by the shop."

The man pointed to a jewelry store.

"Okay."

Mei ran over to the store and slipped in.

"Well, here's your new necklace I just made." One guy handed a necklace to the shopkeeper.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome."

'That must be it.'

Mei quickly ran up to them, grabbed it and ran back to the strange man.

"Hey! Come back here!" The two guys shouted after her.

"Thanks kid, let's go before they catch us."

The strange man carried Mei and off they went.

"Thanks again kid." He said.

"You're welcome!" She smiled.

The strange man had a grin on his face.

"You know, you were pretty quick. How about coming with me?"

"No. I got to stay here."

"Come on, it'll be fun."

"Nope."

He pulled her arm, and she jerked back.

"I gotta go." She smiled once more before leaving.

But she wasn't able to, he pulled her arm again.

"I said you're coming with me."

"No I'm not!!!"

"Fine then!"

The man pushed her down and started to beat her up. Mei cried, yelling to him to just leave her alone. After he was finished, Mei's entire body was covered in bruises and blood. She crawled to a nearby tree and sat against it, her arms around her knees, and sobbing quietly.

"Mei. How come these men said that you took a valuable necklace?" Lily asked.

"I didn't."

"Why?"

"I don't remember."

"Why don't you remember Mei?!" She almost screamed.

"I didn't." Tears started to form in Mei's eyes.

"You did! Now tell-"

Lily cut her sentence short after Mei ran out of the house, tears falling down her cheeks. She wanted to meet her friend today, so she went to the field. She looked around and didn't find him. She sighed and looked at the ground. A note was there, with another tiny piece of paper.

Mei opened the other tiny slip of paper, and it read:

'Man. What was his name?' Mei thought as she almost got to the spot where she was supposed to meet Naruto.

She sighed inwardly.

"Hey there Mei!" Naruto said cheerfully.

"Hey!" ^^

"Man, she was really strange, yeah." Deidara said, mostly to herself.

"For the last thousandth time Deidara, we KNOW!!!" Kisame yelled.

"Hm."

"Tobi's bored." Tobi said.

"We know THAT too!" Kisame yelled again.

"Be quiet Kisame. Let them complain all they want." Itachi said.

"Whatever."

"Tobi thinks that the girl was weird like senpai."

"Shut up Tobi!" Kisame yelled, once again.

"We're here." Itachi said, looking at the two jounins.

"Wow. So she's escorting the jinchuuriki to Suna huh?"

"Un..." Deidara answered.

"..." Tobi kept silent.

"Deidara, make your clay bird." Itachi ordered.

"Un."

He did so, and poof! The bird grew as large as a phoenix, or something.

"Senpai! Can Tobi ride on it? Can Tobi?" Tobi said eagerly.

"No." Deidara answered quickly.

Tobi's head hung low.

"Okay. Tobi'll meet with Senpai, Itachi-san and Kisame-san later."

The three get on Deidara's clay bird as Tobi stayed behind. A tear slowly fell from his face. He took his mask off to wipe the tear and quickly put his mask back on.

"I'll get there before they do." Tobi said before he vanished into thin air.

Tobi reappeared infront of Suna's gates, he went behind a sand dune and stayed there, until the others came. Three days later, they finally arrived, so he decided to make his move.

"Senpai!" He said, waving his arm in the air, pretending that he had just now got there too.

"Hey Tobi." Deidara said boredly as the four of them walked through the gates.

"Finally! I thought I'd die in there!" Mei said happily as they left the Kazekage's office.

"Be quiet Mei. You'll attract attention."

"Like I really care Whiskers." ^^

"I told you not to call me that!!!"

"Oh, really? I haven't really noticed." ^^ Mei smiled.

"Mei!"

"You need something?"

"No!"

"Then why'd you say my name? You obsessed with it or what?"

"No..."

"Okay!"

'She's still weird...'

"Stop un."

The two looked to see four Akatsuki members, standing there.

*Naruto pointed to Itachi* "It's you!!! You're Sasuke's brother!!!"

"Nice to see you remember me." Itachi said in monotone.

"Come with us Naruto." Kisame smirked.

"And if he doesn't?" Mei smiled.

"We'll chop off his feet."

Naruto hid behind Mei.

"I don't want my feet chopped off Mei..." He whispered to her.

Then she said to Kisame, "Like I care. I never promised to bring him back in full anyways, just pieces." ^^

"I already like this girl." Kisame smirked.

"Senpai, is the girl still weird?" Tobi asked.

"No." -.-

"Why not?"

"Shut up Tobi!" Kisame and Deidara said.

"Let's run Naruto." Mei said as she grabbed his hand and they ran away quickly.

"Let's go." Itachi said, running after them.

The other three followed.

They all have been running and Mei and Naruto were in front of Konoha gates. They just ran through it, and when Mei took a glimpse back, she bumped into Sasuke.

"What it loser."

"Hi there Cockatoo!" ^^

"My name's not Cockatoo!"

"Sasuke! The Akatsuki is after me!!!" Naruto yelled.

"Akatsuki?" Sasuke smirked. 'That must mean Itachi's here.'

He looked ahead to see four of the members, and recognized Itachi.

"Hello little brother."

@@@@PEOPLE FOUGHT WITH EACH OTHER, AND A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE BADLY HURT@@@@

"Where's that other member?" Naruto said, looking for the fourth.

"You mean the one with the swirly mask?" Mei asked with a smile.

"Yeah."

"Oh, he's over there, behind the tree, watching."

Mei pointed to the tree.

"How did he join Akatsuki if he's not even fighting?"

"I don't know."

Boom! Most of the trees in the forest collapsed.

"Senpai!!!" Tobi said, running to his side, but he wasn't there. "Where did senpai go?"

"Over here Tobi..." Deidara said weakly.

"Senpai!" Tobi ran towards him.

A kunai went straight to Tobi, knocking his mask off.

'So that's how he looks like...' Deidara thought.

Tobi looked at the thrower, and it was Sasuke.

"Heh. Got you."

"Tobi, run away." Deidara ordered.

"But senpai-"

"Now."

Tobi did so, and now it was just Deidara and Sasuke.
