Baby, You Wouldn't Last One Minute On The Creek -Craig Owens- 01/03

Chapter 1 : Baby, You Wouldn't Last One Minute On The Creek -Craig Owens- 01/03

I started typing and this is what happened. It's kinda weird and I didn't mean to portray Craig Owens like this, but I did. Oh well. I hope you enjoy it.

Let's just stop,
Drop everything,
(Forget each other's names) forget each other's names,
And just walk away

Craig Owens walked around the venue like he owned the place. He sent his cocky smile to every girl in the room and laughed as each stumbled or dropped something. Life was good for Craig Owens. He has two successful bands, Chiodos and Cinematic Sunrise, and was leaving out his dream of traveling the world singing his music to at each stop, not to mention he was only 23.

I guess you could say life was good for Craig Owens.

Turn around and head in different directions,
Like we never, it's like we never knew each other at all.
We said what we feel, then we stop ourselves,

Isabella Madigan walked through the busy hallways, parting the hallway like the red sea. Whenever she was seen, people instantly moved out of the way in fear they might get yelled at. Isabella was only 22 and she worked a dead-end job at some no-name venue in some no-name town, dealing with over-bearing tour managers, immature and sometimes drunk band boys, and all the paperwork that came with it. To round it all up, Isabella’s life was to deal with bullshit and work through it with a smile.

Isabella was not happy with her life.

And just walk away.
Never looking back,
Loving every second of it,
We just walk away.

“I bet you can get her to fall over,” Jason Hale bet Craig.

Craig looked over the timid girl and flashed her a smile. The girl smiled back, but then tripped over a cable.

Jason and Craig laughed at the now embarrassed female and continued to walk down the long hallway to the dressing room. The boys talked about the set they should play when Jason spotted another girl. Smacking Craig then pointing out the girl, Craig smiled and they both began to walk faster.

Craig flashed his infamous grin at the girl, expecting her to trip or to drop all the folders she was carrying. Instead, the girl rolled her eyes at him and continues on her way, without missing a beat. Craig turned to watch the girl turn the corner. Turning around, Craig came face to face with a large pole and quickly moved to avoid, knocking a girl over in the process.

Jason laughed as his friend apologized to the now blushing girl as he tried to help her up. The girl shook her head and quickly got up and ran away.

“Oh my dear friend, I think you might have just seen the one girl who is immune to your charm,” Jason laughed out.

“Dream on, Hale,” Craig responds looking back at the corner the mystery girl vanished at.

“I smell a bet,” Jason replies with a sly smirk.

“Hundred bucks says I can get her in my bunk by the end of the night,” Craig says.

“And when you fail?” Jason asks, leaning against a wall and lighting up a cigarette.

“If I fail, and I mean if, you not only get a hundred bucks, but the pick of girls at the next stop,” Craig replies easily, sticking his hand.

“Oh this is going to be good,” Jason responds, shaking Craig’s hand.

This is probably the best,
Not to mention the worst idea,
That I have ever had.
