~Start Story~
Xai stood at the top of the roof, looking down as the rain poured on top of her. She wore a black heavy trench coat jacket with a hood covering her eyes from being seen and watched a bald man in a gray suit walk into the pouring rain as he held a black book in his hand close to him. Xai's eyes followed the bald man and she quickly dashed from wall to wall in the shadows reflecting from the city lights. The bald man continues into a shadow and disappears. Xai follows the bald man and out of the unknown from the darkness, a group of shadows appears and surrounds Xai as she stood in the rain.
Taking out her keyblades, Xai waits for the shadows to attack. Three shadows attacked from the front rear and two attacked from the back. Xai backflips and throws one of the keyblades to the ground, making an explosion. Five pure hearts rise in the air and the five shadows faded away as four new ones appeared from each side. Xai dashes down and picks up her keyblade and quickly slashed the shadows apart. Four more pure hearts rose in the air as the four shadows faded and more and more started to rise out of the ground and covered the whole area.
"Give me power...!" Xai raises her keyblades in the air and stabs it to the ground, creating a wave of light banishing the shadows, leaving only nothing but the raindrops falling from the sky.
A sliver haired man threw the human out the door. "YOU CAN'T JUST TOSS ME OUT! I NEED YOUR HELP!! PLEASE!!!" The human yelled at the steps of the end of the street as he got tossed out. "I BEG YOU!!!" The man begged on his knees but the door slammed in front of his face.
"Poor guy..." Xai felt sorry for him and walked towards next to the human.
"I'm not going to hurt you..." Xai said as the human jumped a little.
"Y-you're not?" the human asked as he stood up.
"Why would I kill you?" Xai asked. "Is there something you need help with?"
"I-I don't know why... " the human stood up. "Yes I need help..."
"What is it that you need?" Xai crossed her arms.
"A man took my daughter... she's about 16 years old, about 5'2. She has a medium long brown hair and loves the color white and her eyes are green..." the man said as he shook his head.
"Why did he kiddnap her...?" Xai asked.
"He wants me to give him $9,000,000... I only have $5,000,000 with me..." the man said as he looked at the door and back to Xai. "Can you please get my daughter back?"
Xai thought in her head. "All this for only money?"
The man waits for Xai's answer.
"No problem... whats her name?" Xai asked again as she turned around.
"Izumi... I'm her father, Tenshu..." Tenshu smiled.
"Alright, where's he at?" the silver man appeared as the door opened.
"You're going to help?" Tenshu asked as the silver-haired man came out.
"Yeah why not? after all, its gonna be fun..." the silver-haired man said as he looked at Xai up and down.
Xai turned forward and continued walking.
"He's keeping her captured in a old warehouse up ahead on the second turn. You should be able to see a number 13 on top of the warehouse." Tenshu replied back. "Thank you again..."
"Since we are going together, why not team up with me babe?" the silver haired man asked as he caught up with Xai.
Xai didn't bother to say anything except continue walking to the old warehouse.
"Hmm... a quiet one eh...?" the silver haired man smirked.
Xai and the silver haired man arrives at the old ware house with the number 13 and stops at the gate with a lock chained. The silver haired man cracked his knuckles and ran to the gate, kicking it with a jump kick. He kicks it again and again, but the lock doesn't break. He then takes out his guns and shoots at the lock but the lock still doesn't budge.
"It's locked... looks like we gotta find another way in..." the silver haired man said as he puts away his guns.
Xai takes out one of her keyblades and a beam comes out of the tip of the key.
The lock opens and disappears.
"How... how did you..." the silver haired man became speechless.
Xai continued walking through and all of the sudden, the lights came on.
"I see you made it Son of Sparda..." the man holding Izumi called out.
"That's Dante...!" Dante pointed to the man. Dante came inside the warehouse after Xai and saw Izumi with a white tank top and white jeans that made him start to drool.
"Someone help!!!" Izumi called out as she struggled and tried to run.
"Oh...? who's that lovely young woman beside you?" he asked as he changed into a demon.
"Here's your damn money! now hand her over..." Dante tossed the bag with all the money in front of him.
The demon smirked. "Let's make a deal... I'll let this girl go free IF that young lady becomes my mate..." the demon smirked.
"Sorry dude, but she isn't your type..." Dante pulled out his guns and ran towards the demon. "She's too quiet!!!"
The demon gripped onto Izumi and reached for Dante. Xai comes by the side of the demon holding Izumi and stabs one of her keyblades on the back of the demon. Xai takes Izumi and brings her back down and pulled her out of the warehouse.
Dante comes out through the window with Xai's keyblade and lands in front of Xai and Izumi with the money bag. "You weren't going to leave me were you?" Dante asked with a little pout.
"No I would never leave you!" Izumi jumped onto Dante.
"I know I'm too hot for you to leave..." Dante smirked.
"Not for me..." Xai began to walk ahead of Dante and Izumi.
"Aww babe that hurt..." Dante said as he grabbed Xai's arm before she took another step.
"Don't touch me...!" Xai shook off Dante's grip. "Let's go Izumi..."
"You know Xai since we started this job together, we might as well finish it together..." Dante said with an innocent smile on his face.
"Fine..." Xai said as she led the way back to Tenshu.
"Izumi!" Tenshu called out.
"Dad!!" Izumi jumped off of Dante and ran to her father.
"I'm glad you're safe Izumi..." Tenshu said as he hugged his daughter. "Thank you Xai and Dante..."
"You're welcome..." Xai said as she turned around and walked away.
"Wait! Here..." Tenshu gave Xai and Dante $10,000.
"Call me anytime, okay?" Izumi said as her father dragged her away.
"Here... you take it..." Xai throws the money at Dante. "I don't need this..."
Dante puts the money away and follows after Xai. "Here's your sword... you left it behind..." Dante handed Xai back her keyblade. "Hey, why not stay at my place? I'll order some pizza for dinner..."
Xai takes her keyblade and it disappears. "Sure..." Xai mutters.
"Little brother... hmph...! still the same after 2 years..." another silver haired man said as he watched Xai and Dante walk Dante's office DEVIL MAY CRY and frowned.
Dante opened his office and took off his red trench coat. "That feels better..." He then glances at Xai. "Aren't you going to take off your coat? you're gonna catch a cold..."
Xai slowly unzips her zipper and slowly removes her hood. Her long brownish-black hair comes out and she moves it out of her neck. "Did you say something?"
Dante continued to watch Xai as she placed her coat onto the hanger. "This woman isn't and ordinary one... she's ten times sexier than all the other girls I met..." Dante smirked. "oh...?" Dante continued to circle around Xai and noticed the two hand guns hanging behind her belt. "You're a hunter, aren't you?"
"What do you think...?" Xai walks up to Dante. "You're a devil hunter yourself..."
Dante made a sexy smirk on his face and thought to himself. "For a sexy girl like her, maybe she'll warm me up and then we'll have lots of fun... heheheh..."
"I hate him..." a girl said as she watched Dante from a roof top.
"I know you do..." purred the other girl.
"What does she have that I don't?" the girl said as she growled.
"You should ask Dante yourself Hikaru..." the other girl sighed.
"I will big sister! just watch me Hikari I will!" Hikaru said as she roared.
"I know you will little sister..." Hikari sighed. "You say the same things over and over..." Hikari begins to lick her lips and claws. "You know... you shouldn't let him get to you..."
"I can't help it! I love him..." Hikaru kneeled down.
"You love him, but you're not in love..." Hikari stared down at Dante.
"Yes I am! I still love him!" Hikaru clenched her fists.
"Then get that bitch away from Dante and he'll be all yours..." Hikari looked back at Hikaru.
"I'll kill her Hikari! just you wait and see...!" Hikaru beared her fangs at Xai.
"I know you're gonna kill her, but you don't know what she is or what kind of power she got... Maybe you should watch her and see what she can do before getting your ass kicked or killed..." Hikari glared at Hikaru.
"You're right sis..." Hikaru muttered.
"So... this is your place... not bad..." Xai looked around.
Dante walked to the door. "Pizza guy's here..."
Xai continued to look around and walked to the desk. She notices a picture on the desk beside the phone.
Dante brought the pizza at the desk. "Here's pizza...!"
Xai glanced at Dante. "Is this your Mother?"
Dante grabs a slice of pizza. "Yeah..."
"She's beautiful..." Xai placed the picture back down onto the desk and sat on the chair. She slams her foot on the desk and a slice of pizza flies up, falling onto her hand.
"Not bad..." Dante laughed as he ate more pizza. "So tell me, where are you from?"
"I'm from Bevelle..." Xai took another bite. "It's a different world and area from here..."
"How old are you?" Dante asked as he got his third slice.
"Close to 9,000 years... in human ages, I'm about... 19 years old..." Xai leaned back. "Half human, half demon..."
"Still young..." Dante laughed.
Suddenly, the phone ranged. Dante slammed his hand on the desk but Xai catches it. "Devil May Cry..." Xai holds up the phone and hands it to Dante. "It's for you..."
Dante took the phone. "Hello?"
"It's been a while, hasn't it Dante...?" Hikaru's voice echoed through the phone.
"Sure has..." Dante replied.
"Meet me outside your office... we'll talk from there..." Hikaru hanged up.
"Meet me ourside your office... alright..." Xai stood up and grabbed her coat. "Looks like a battle for me..."
Dante hung up the phone. "How is it a battle for you?" Dante asked.
Xai points outside. "Those two are waiting for you... I know they'll come after me once we get out there..."
Dante walked to the hanger and got his jacket on. "Alright, let's meet them outside my office then..."
It stopped raining as Dante and Xai got out the office door. Hikaru jumps down from the rooftop and tries to claw Dante. "You're late Dante..."
"Sorry..." Dante changed his voice into a squeaky little kid voice. "Next time I'll come early okay...?"
Hikari dashes down and claws Xai but Xai dashes off to the side. "Damn! I missed...!"
"What's wrong? can't catch me?" Xai laughed. "It'll take a million years for you to come and catch me..."
"Why you....!" Hikari growled. "You're gonna eat those words you little bitch!"
"How can I eat it when it's just words...?" Xai takes out her keyblades and stood in her fighting stance.
Hikari was so pissed off, she ran towards Xai with her sharpened claws coming close to her.
Xai blocked the attacks and hit her back with a blow to the leg. "I see you're pretty good at hand in hand combat with your werewolf form..."
Dante glanced at Xai and Hikari fight. "Xai was right..." Dante looked at Hikaru. "Instead of wanting to see me, you want to kill her?"
"Of course I wanted to see you Dante!" Hikaru purred at Dante. "Don't you miss me?"
Xai puts her keyblades away. "Lets see how long you can survive challenging me..." Xai took off her coat and threw it on the handles near the door. A symbol appears under Xai as she growls and soon her arms and legs start to change, forming dragon-like gaunlets and a tail appears. Then wings appear from her back and a gold wheel forms on her wings as she roars. "C'mon..."
"Get her big sister!!" Hikaru yelled.
Xai smirked and with a back flip, she whips her tail, slapping Hikari to the left. "Is that all you can do? I was hoping for something interesting, and I thought you had it, but I guess you don't..."
Hikaru pushed Dante to the side. "If you're so cocky, why not fight me?"
Xai beared her fangs. "Give it all you got... if you can keep up..." Xai quickly dashed towards Hikaru and kicked her to the wall.
"Hikaru!!" Hikari called out as she got up. "No one hurts my little sister except me!!" Hikari growls, changing her next form and runs towards Xai again. "You shall die!!!" Hikari's claw glows red as she jumped in the air, aiming for Xai's face.
A large explosion blasts the area and as the smoke clears, a barrier forms around Xai. "Close, but not quite... I'll show you the true form of an Aeon...!" The same symbol appears again under Xai and lights up under her. Xai changes into her Bahamut X form and makes a loud roar.
Vergil looks down at Xai and makes an evil smile. "This is getting interesting..."
"Big sister! lets retreat!!" Hikaru yelled out to Hikari as she got up.
"No! we can't retreat! we started this battle, and we'll finish it!!" Hikari growled.
"Prepare to die!!" Xai charges her Mega Flare as she got down on all fours. A bright light shines in her mouth as she charged it.
"No! Big sister!!!" Hikaru jumped in front of Hikari and pushed her off to the side.
Xai blasts her mega flare and blasts the whole area. Hikaru lands on the wall and slides down.
"Hikaru!!" Hikari ran to Hikaru. "Hikaru!! speak to me!!!"
"You should've listened to your little sister when you had the chance..." Xai turned around and transformed back into her human form.
Dante ran after Xai as she picks up her coat from the rail.. "That was some battle..."
Xai puts her coat back on. "Just to let you know, I didn't kill her..." Xai opens the door and notices Vergil sitting on Dante's chair near the pizza. "A visitor..."
"Vergil..." Dante growled.
"It's been two years little brother... how about a hug from your older brother...?" Vergil stood up and spread his arms apart.
"Older brother?" Xai looked at Vergil and then back to Dante.
Vergil walks up to Xai and picks up her hand and kisses it. "Nice to meet you, I am Vergil..."
Xai blushed as she tried to move her hand down. "I'm Xai..."
Dante glares at Vergil. "Everytime you come here, the women always go after you..."
Vergil raises his sword Yamato up. "It's not my fault dear brother... after all, we're twins..."
Dante takes out his sword Rebellion and points it to Vergil. He and Vergil makes a dash towards each other, swinging their swords and clanging on to each other.
Xai sighs and uses a stop ability and the weapons become frozen. "I warn you... stop the fighting right now..."
Dante took out his guns Ebony and Ivory. "I wouldn't say so babe..."
Light blue swords appears around Vergil as he took out another demon sword. "We're not done yet...!"
Dante and Vergil dashes towards each other and attacks again. Xai gets pissed off and uses her magic to trap Dante and Vergil into separate spheres.
"Hey!" Dante banged on the sphere. "Let me out of here...!"
Vergil resummons his spiral swords but the sphere cancels off the powers. "That can't be!"
"I warned you two..." Xai glared at Dante and Vergil.
Vergil looks at Xai's eyes with amazement and looks at Dante. "Let's stop here... otherwise, the more we continue doing this in front of her, she'll end up making us suffer..."
Dante nodded. "Alright, we'll stop..."
Xai lets go of Dante and Vergil and the weapons. "I'll be sleeping on the couch, so don't play any stupid tricks or else this place is going to be crumbled in pieces less than five seconds..." Xai puts her keyblades away and puts her coat onto the hanger and walks to the couch. "Confy..."
Vergil picks up his Yamato and walks upstairs. Dante puts his coat on the hanger and headed off to the desk, finishing up the pizza from one hour ago. About five minutes passed and Dante goes to the bathroom and takes a shower. Xai lies down and soon she falls asleep. As Dante came out of the shower, he noticed Xai was sleeping peacefully on the couch.
"She looks like she's sleeping peacefully..." Dante walks by Xai and takes one good look at her face. "Cute face for a girl like her..." Dante rubs his head with a towel and walks upstairs into his room.
As the three separate, Hikari tries to heal Hikaru's wounds.
"C'mon... why won't it heal?!" Hikari yells. "I can't lose my sister!!"
"It seems like you're having difficulty, dear child..." The bald headed man with a black book stepped out of the shadows.
"Who the hell are you?!" Hikari got up and growled at the bald headed man.
"I am a priest..." the bald headed man said as he bowed to Hikari.
"........." Hikari kneeled down beside Hikaru. "Sis... can you hear me...?"
"...Hi...kari...?" Hikaru whispered.
"Hikaru!! you're alive!! I thought you were done for...!" Hikari held Hikaru in her arms as she cried a little.
"You're hurting me Hikari..." Hikaru struggled a little.
"I'll make you a deal..." the priest smirked evily as he opened his book.
"What kind of deal...?" Hikari looked at the priest.
"I know that you lost to that woman... don't you want to seek revenge on her...?" the priest closed his book.
"Big sister, you should! She defeated us, and we can get our revenge back... I still need to get her away from Dante..." Hikaru held Hikari's hand.
"Alright..." Hikari nodded her head. "We'll get our revenge..."
"If you seek revenge, join forces with me and I will make you stronger than you are before..." the priest smiled evily as Hikaru and and Hikari joined forces with him.
Xai wakes up and sits up. "What was that I just felt...?" Xai got up and stretched for a bit and went to the bathroom. "I'm suprised Dante even kept the bathroom cleaned..." Xai laughs and turns on the water in the bathtub. "At least I can get some rest..." After one hour in the bathroom, Xai comes out, rubbing her head and combed it to the side with her fingers. "That was refreshing..."
Just then, Xai sensed another evil feeling. From the thin air, a shadow moves from the wall and jumps towards behind Xai. Xai quickly blocks with her keyblades and strikes it back. The shadow teleports and attacks from the air. Xai continues to block the attack and kicks the shadow to the stairs.
Vergil opens the door and notices the shadow making its way to him. Vergil makes a barrier of his summoned swords and takes out his Yamato. Xai dashed up the stairs and slashed the shadow but the attack misses. The shadow jumps and slides under Dante's bedroom door.
"A shadow?" Vergil looked at Dante's door.
"We have to kill it before any one of us get our hearts taken..." Xai takes a step back and jump kicks the door.
The door falls down and bullets fly through the air, hitting the shadow to the wall near the door.
"Are you alright Dante?" Xai looks at Dante as he pointed his guns to the shadow.
"How the hell did this thing get here?" Dante walked next to Xai.
"I don't know, but if we don't kill it, it'll take away your hearts..." Xai gripped onto her keyblades.
The shadow stands up again, recovering from the bullets Dante fired.
"That thing's still alive...?" Dante took a step forward but Vergil pulled him back. "Let her deal with it Dante..."
The shadow transforms into a more stronger shadow with sharpened claws.
Xai walks forward and got ready to fight. "Stay back... I don't want to get you two involved with this..." Xai dashes towards the shadow and out of nowhere, Dante shoots four bullets, hitting the shadow. "You idiot! I told you not to get involved with this...!"
The shadow recovers and stands up. It thens points out its claws and out comes four needles.
"Look out!!" Xai tackles Dante to the ground as Vergil dodged the attack. "Next time, if you interfere, I'll make sure you'll be the first one to be killed...!" Xai yelled at Dante and ran off towards the shadow.
"She has a point little brother... we shouldn't interfere... this is her battle..." Vergil shooked his head.
Xai knocks the shadow into the air and finishes it off with a throw to the ground. The symbol appears on the ground below Xai as she dropped down, pulling out her keyblade and pointing it at the shadow, sealing its heart. "There goes another pure heart..."
Dante laughed and walked closer to Xai. "Well that was an easy battle for you..."
Without turning around, Xai pulls out one of her guns and shot Dante in the head but it misses.
"Better keep practicing..." Dante walked a little closer.
Xai smirks and shoots Dante again in the head. This time, it hits and Dante falls to the ground.
Within a few seconds, Dante quickly stands up. "Hey! what the hell was that for?!" Dante glared at Xai. "Here I am trying to help you, and you show your thanks by shooting me in the head?!"
Xai doesn't say anything and walks pass Dante and faints.
Vergil catches Xai in his arms and notices a dark reddish purple needle on her waist. Blood started to drip onto Vergil. "She's wounded..."
Dante runs by Xai and takes out the needle. "I was pretty sure she dodged all those four needles... I guess she forgot one..." Dante crushes the needle with his bare hand.
"Dante go down and bring me a damp towel..." Vergil carries Xai into his room and places her carefully onto the bed. He then takes off Xai's shirt and takes out some wrapping bandage and wraps it around the bleeding area. "This should stop the bleeding..."
Withing a few minutes, Dante comes back up and brings a damp towel and gives it to Vergil. Vergil softly wipes it on Xai's forehead and then to the lower body areas. Dante quickly falls asleep near the doorway and Vergil sleeps on the chair with his arms crossed. Xai slowly opens her eyes and sits up.
"I didn't think they were actually going to do this..." Xai looks beside her and sees Vergil sleeping peacefully on the chair as Dante sleeping near the doorway. Xai takes the blankets and places them over Dante and Vergil. "That should keep you two sleeping well..." Xai grabbed her shirt and puts it back on. She quietly walks past Dante's foot and turns around. "Thanks... that was my thanks of you helping me out..." Xai chuckled to herself as she walked down the stairs.
"Going somewhere?" Dante called out.
"Going back to where I was sleeping at... originally..." Xai turned around and noticed Dante was awake.
Within a blink of an eye, Dante appears in front of Xai.
"No Dante..." Xai whispered.
"Come on, Please?" Dante begged.
"No..." Xai turned her head to the other side.
"You know you want to..." Dante leaned a little closer.
"No I don't. If you keep asking me I'll chop it off and feed it to you!" Xai growled as her blue eyes flared.
"Fine be that way..." pouted Dante
"I will be...! Thank you...!" Xai sighed.
"Meaner pants!" Dante whispered as he sat next to Xai.
"Meaner pants? You can't think of anything better to call me other than that?" Xai asked as she laughed so hard tears started running down her eyes.
"What? There's nothing wrong with meaner pants..." Dante thought to himself.
"Sure... you keep telling yourself that..." Xai smirked and fell fast asleep.
For the past couple of minutes, Dante was trying to get Xai to sleep with him but it wasn't working as well as he thought.
Dante fell fast asleep again on the sofa and Xai wakes up and couldn't sleep again. She walks quietly upstairs into Vergil's room and lays onto Vergil's bed, sleeping peacefully.
During the next day, Dante wakes up and noticed Xai was gone again, and he quickly runs upstairs looking for any signs of her. "Damn it... where the hell did she go this time...?"
Xai turns to the saw Vergil's face. "AHH!!!"
"There's no need to scream..." Vergil rubbed his eyes. "Did you have a good sleep?"
Xai sat up and shook her head a little. "Not really... Dante tried to... well..."
"I know... that's how my little brother is..." Vergil got up and went to the closet and took out his vest.
Xai blushes as Vergil was wearing his vest. Vergil noticed Xai was looking at him. "Am I that interesting...?"
"Uh... that is... you are..." Xai begins to studder as Vergil walked closer and cupped her chin.
Dante opens the door and calls out to Vergil. "Hey Verg... you seen Xa-?" Dante's eyes open wide.
Vergil and Xai look at Dante as he was cut off from the scene that just happened.
"She's here..." Vergil stands up straight and grabs his blue trench coat.
"What do you want this time Dante?" Xai crossed her arms.
"Nothing... just making sure you're safe... that's all..." Dante walks out of the room. "Vergil didn't do anything to you did he?"
"Hrm..." Xai gets off the bed and walks up to Dante. "Of course he didn't do anything to me... unlike you, you tried to...!"
"Well sorry!" Dante yelled.
"Well anyways..." Xai walks past Dante downstairs and meets Vergil in the living room. "I forgot... good morning..."
Vergil sets two cups of tea down and gives the other tea to Xai. "...Good morning..."
The office starts to shake and out of the unknown, a tower raises up from the ground.
Dante runs outside his office and looks at the tower. "Well this looks familiar..."
"That can't be temenigru... it can't be revived any better... you did destroy the tower didn't you?" Vergil ran outside after Dante and stands next beside him.
At the top of the tower, a red light shines and disappears. Shadows quickly crawl down the tower and approaches Dante and Vergil. A white source of light shines behind Dante and Vergil and kills the shadows, appearing only pure hearts.
Dante looked at his brother. "Did you do that?"
"I thought it was you... you also have Beowulf, don't you?" Vergil said as he looked at his brother.
Walking beside Dante and Vergil is Xai in a white hooded coat with a staff. More shadows appear from the sunlight of the walls and Xai casts the same attack again. "Holy!"
A white light appears from the sky and the shadows vanish. Appearing at the top of the tower, the Warewolf sisters and the bald headed priest looks down at the high building.
"Isn't it a magnificent view? Now that the tower has risen, we can now rule the world...!" the priest laughed evilly.
"It's a wonderful view..." Hikaru looks down and sees Dante. "I can see Dante better from the view up here..."
"Looks like we can finish the battle pretty soon..." Hikari licked her claws.
"I see..." Xai looked up and transformed into her warrior form and continued to walk forward.
A shadow appears out of the ground and Xai prepares to attack but a blue sword strikes the shadow down.
"It seems like another person wants to rule over the world..." Vergil walks up to Xai. "I won't let that happen..."
The shadow tries to stand up but Dante shoots it down. "And I won't let you take over the world Vergil..."
"Alright... lets go into the tower..." Xai, Vergil and Dante heads towards the tower and suddenly shadows appear from the buildings.
"Needle claws..." Xai glared at the shadows. "The same ones that attacked us..."
Vergil steps out foward and takes out his Yamato. "I'll handle this one..."
The needle claws jumps down towards Vergil and attacks. Vergil dodges side to side and cuts the arm off and teleport dash to the closest shadow. Within a few sesconds, all the shadows stand perfectly still and Vergil slowly slides his Yamato back into the case. All the needle claws fades and turns into pure hearts.
"That was amazing..." Xai clapped her hands and walked up to Vergil. "Interesting..."
Dante whispers under his breath. "Hmph... Show off...!"
Xai walks into the bar with Dante and Vergil following after and notices a wall covering up the other door across from the drinks.
"Too bad no one serves this place no more..." Dante sits at the seats and picks up a bottled beer.
Xai walked up closer to the wall covering the door and places her hand over it. A symbol appears on the wall, showing a glyth. Xai touches it and the glyth fades away, leaving a keyhole mark.
Vergil walks over to Dante and grabs the beer bottle away from him. "That's enough drinking there little brother..."
Dante stands up and walks over to Xai. "So babe, figure this damn door thing yet?" Dante hiccupped as he took out his guns.
"Wait!" Xai tries to stop Dante but Dante shakily shoots one at the keyhole but the wall shines and reflects back the bullet, hitting Dante in the head.
Vergil shakes his head and sighs. "Tsk, tsk, tsk... Stupid brother..." Vergil pours the last remains of beer in the bottle onto Dante's face.
Dante wakes up and shakes off the beer. "what the hell happened?!"
Vergil throws the empty bottle at Dante. "You tried to shoot the wall and the wall reflected it back at you... idiot..."
Xai unseals the keyhole and the wall disappears. She then turns around and laughs at Dante and Vergil. "Thanks to the door, I won't have to worry about shooting you in the head so much Dante..."
"Ha-ha... very funny..." Dante moped as he got up.
The three continue to the next room.
"I haven't seen this place in a long time!!" Dante runs to the stripper polls and swings around it. "The poll's still useful..."
Xai rolls her eyes and walks to the door. The dust shakes off and from the stairs, a portal appears and a round shadow appears from the portal. Xai grabs it and throws it at Dante and Vergil hanging around the stripper poll area. "Heads up!"
The ball shadow charges at Dante but Dante manages to swing around the poll and cuts it apart with his sword. "You'd think I forget?" He conceededly said with a smirk on his face.
Xai throws another one at Dante again and this time, it hits... again...
Dante falls down and gets back up but the ball shadow tackles him back down as he tried to get up. "Damn it... why does this always happen to me?"
Vergil cuts the ball shadow and puts his Yamato back into the slot. "You don't have lady luck on your side... that's why little brother..."
Dante gets mad and runs towards Xai with his rebellion in his hand and strikes but Xai strikes him down with the keyblade.
"I don't think so..." Xai puts one foot on top of Dante's stomach and pointed her keyblade to Dante's heart. "I could've slain you if I wanted to... your pure heart will be destroyed if you try something bad towards me..." Xai puts away her keyblades and starts to transform into her demon form, Bahamut X. "If you stand in my way, you will suffer..." Xai said as she pulled Dante up by the collar and throws him back at the stripper poll.
Dante lands on his feet as if nothing has happened. "HAHA! Don't worry babe I'll TRY not to get in your way...!" Dante laughed as he stood up.
Xai throws Dante's rebellion at Dante and Dante tilts his head to the side.
"Still need to practice your aiming..." Dante taunted.
Vergil hits Dante in the head with his Yamato. "This is the reason why you don't get girls..."
Dante rubs his head. "Aww shut up..."
The three made it outside of the bar and Xai chooses to fly up as wings appeared from her back.
"Hey! where do you think you're going?!" Dante pouted.
"Somewhere to get away from you..." Xai joked. "Anyways, look up there..."
Dante and Vergil looks up in the sky. A flying shadow flies around the tower.
"And you're going on ahead against that thing?" Dante pointed. "Hell no you're not..."
"Like I said, I'm heading up there... you two are going to the tower..." Xai flies up a little further and looks at Vergil. "Be careful... there are lots of different kinds of shadows that can swallow your heart very easily..." Xai flies off towards the shadow flying in the sky.
"Great..." Dante walked on ahead. "I have to be with my brother..."
Vergil laughed and followed after Dante. "It's not my fault that I have to babysit you Dante... you just keep making the girls not like you anymore..."
Once Dante and Vergil got to the tower, a armored knight greets them from the shadows.
"Good evening gentlemen..." he bowed he came out of the shadows.
Dante pointed his guns at the knight. "Who the hell are you?"
"Ah sir, I am nothing but just a helper on your way to the tower..." the knight looked at Dante. "As you see here, this is a temple..."
"And you thought it was a tower Dante..." Vergil sighed and shook his head. "Idiot..."
Meanwhile, Xai transforms into her demon form and flies towards the flying shadow in the sky. The shadow spots Xai flying towards it and it charges down towards Xai. Xai also flies towards the shadow and tackles it, hitting through the tower. The knight jumps out of the way as Xai and the shadow continue fighting. She throws the shadow to the wall and then charges four dark balls and hurls it at the shadow. Xai turns to the knight and growls at him.
"Temper Bahamut X..." the knight calmly said as the shadow faded away and the pure heart appeared out of it.
Xai dashes towards the knight but the knight teleports away.
"I promise you the fun will begin very soon Bahamut X...!" The knight disappeared as his voice was filled with evil laughter.
Xai takes a deep breath and transforms to her human form.
Dante walks by Xai and places his arm on top of Xai's shoulders. "So... what kind of fun is it, BAHAMUT X?"
Vergil walks to the door and enters it. Xai throws Dante's arm off her shoulders and ran after Vergil.
"I don't get it..." Dante became blank.
Vergil stops walking and Xai follows behind him. "Wait..."
Xai looks around and sees pyreflies flying around. A bark echoes the area. "It... it can't be..."
Vergil slowly takes out his Yamato and cuts the three daggers coming towards him and Xai. "Show yourself..."
Cherry blossoms fly as the moon became full and Yojimbo walks by and calls his dog Diagoro to attack. Diagoro barks again and runs towards Xai. Dante walks through the door and Diagoro changes directions and tackles Dante down. He tries to push off Diagoro but Diagoro didn't move. It was still growling.
"Yojimbo..." Xai whispered to herself. "But why...? why are they here?"
Yojimbo calls back Diagoro and reached for three more daggers.
Xai takes out her keyblades and hurled them at Yojimbo, knocking off the daggers off his hand. "Stop this! why are you attacking?"
Yojimbo stands perfectly still and pyreflies comes out of him. He then changes color, looking like the dead as Diagoro changed.
Dante gets up and dusts off the dust off. "What's wrong with them?"
"They are possessed..." Xai retrieves back her keyblades and changes into a Dragoon. "Can it be that Yu Yevon has controlled us again...?"
Vergil summons his swords and takes out his father's sword. "We'll make this a handicap since he has that dog there..."
Xai summons out her dragoon spear and dashes toward Yojimbo. Yojimbo disappears and attacks Xai from behind and strikes at the back bur Xai disappears and above the ceiling, she then jumps down and lunges her spear onto Yojimbo's chest. Diagoro goes after Vergil and Dante and calls his dog friends and pounds Dante to the ground. Vergil dashes in the air and summons his swords around Diagoro and makes fresh cuts around the legs and body. Dante pulls out his guns but Xai places her hand in front of him.
"Don't shoot him... he's my friend..." Xai said as she stopped Dante. "The cuts and slashes from our weapons are already enough..." Yojimbo kneels down and Diagoro retreats to his side. Xai walks to Yojimbo and takes out the spear out of Yojimbo's chest and takes out her keyblade. "Don't worry... I promise the dream won't fade away..." Yojimbo nods his head as Xai swings her keyblade up and points it to Yojimbo's heart. Yojimbo glows and then disappears into pyreflies as Xai released him.
"My my my..." the knight came again as the pyreflies flew around and disappeared.
"Shut up..." Xai throws her keyblade at the knight and throws the spear after.
The knight avoids the sword and the spear and laughs. "You need to practice your aiming..."
Dante gets pissed and takes out his sword Rebellion and throws it at the knight and shoots three bullets at the tip of the handle. The knight turns around and gets stabbed by Dante's rebellion as it flew quickly towards him.
"Oof! ouchie that hurt!" the knight playfully said as he was stabbed in the stomach.
"Dude... you're messing with the wrong woman... the only one that can mess around is me...!" Dante pointed his gun at Xai and back to himself. "I'm the only one who says that...!" Dante snarled at the knight.
The knight laughs very happy as if a prank happened. "Oh dear me...!"
Vergil summons his swords and it suddenly flies at the knight. "My little brother is right..."
Xai laughs to herself and whispers to herself. "Guys... they're trying to empress me... Well... I better make a stop to this then..."
Xai's keyblade disappears and the spear returns back to Xai. Xai places her spear onto her back. "C'mon... lets go..."
Dante glared back at the knight and took out his sword with one pull. Vergil's summoned swords melted away and disappeared. Both Vergil and Dante follow behind Xai.
The knight laughs again and disappears.
"Hikaru... how do you feel?" Hikari asked her little sister as she walked by her.
"I'm fine... since the priest took us in, he used his powers and healed me..." Hikaru said as she smiled.
"Hikari! Hikaru! I have something special for you two to do..." the priest called out. "Come inside the room I have prepared..."
Hikaru and Hikari walks inside the room and kneels to the priest. "Yes your holyness?"
"It seems like the inventation to that legendary Aeon has come into our hands... there are the Sons of Sparda... I want you two to get rid of them..." the priest said as the two young werewolves stood up. "But... first things first..." the priest opens his book and sticks out his hand. A dark purplish light shined around Hikari and Hikaru as they obtained their new powers from the priest. "This is your new power... use it wisely in battle..." The priest closes his bookand walks to the windowed door. "I will be seeking both your return..."
"We will your holyness..." Hikaru and Hikari bowed and disappeared.
Xai, Vergil and Dante continue to the top of the tower. Xai begins to wonder why the other Aeons are summoned to battle against them.
"Something on your mind?" Vergil asked as Xai stopped.
"I guess..." Xai looked off to one side.
"It's about that Samurai dude that we were fighting right?" Dante said as he crossed his arms.
"Something like that..." Xai smiled crooked. "How did you guess Dante?"
"Well you see..." Dante scratched his head. "You said something about Aeons and stuff, and I know that you're one and you might be related somehow..."
"Looks like someone has been paying attention..." Vergil laughed.
"So... what kind of samurai is that dude anyway?" Dante asked.
"He's a samurai that was left and stolen from the Chambers of Faith..." Xai said as they continued. "His true body is left in a dugeon somewhere where I came from... he is a guardian like me. All of us Aeons are Guardians of Summoners... There are 10 of us... I am the Aeon of Destruction, Bahamut X."
"Then... what about the other 9?" Dante asked again.
"One you know is Yojimbo, the Samurai. he is the Aeon of strength, speed and power. The others are elemental and very strong, like me. Shiva, the Queen of Ice, Ifrit, the God of Fire, Ixion, the God of Thunder, Anima, the God of Death, Valefor, the Aeon of light, and the other 3 are the Magus Sisters... they fight together in a group..." Xai stopped at the dead end.
"A dead end..." Vergil stopped behind Xai.
Xai moves her hand over the wall and a glyth appears. The wall lifts up and on the wall behind the glyth shows another keyhole.
"Isn't that the same one that was at the bar?" Dante walked next to Xai.
"Kind of..." Xai pushes Dante back. "I suggest you stay back or else the samething is going to happen like last time..."
Dante steps back and stands next to Vergil. Xai takes out her keyblade and seals the keyhole as the light from the tip of the key shot a beam to the keyhole. The keyhole disappears and it reveals a chamber with spheres on the sides of the pedistal coming out of the wall.
"What is this place?" Dante walked in behind Vergil.
"The Chamber of Trials... those who ask help for the Aeons have to go through this chamber and complete the trials with the spheres..." Xai said a she picked one of the glowing spheres up. "It's simple really... all you have to do is put the spheres into the doors and pedistals and it'll open the right way."
"It's glowing green..." Vergil said as he looked at the sphere in Xai's hand.
"And this one goes to the doorway..." Xai hands the sphere off to Vergil. "Here... insert this sphere into the doorway and it'll open our way..."
Vergil takes the sphere and walks to the door with an empty sphere pedistal onto the door. He then places the sphere into the empty pedistal on the door and the door started to glow as the sphere shined the whole chamber.
"Looks like you guys got the hang of it..." Xai walks through the opened door and looks around. "It's just as I thought... this one is Valefor's temple..."
Dante steps forward. "This is a piece of cake..."
After a few moments, Dante and Vergil were done with the chamber of trials with the spheres. In the next room, Valefor appears and then its body starts to turn dark.
"Not you too..." Xai whispered. "First its Yojimbo, and next its you... why is this happening to us?"
Valefor flies in the air and vooshes down. Xai rolls off to the side and Vergil teleports to the ceiling and attaches onto Valefor. Dante takes out his guns and jumps in front of Valefor, holding onto its chest.
"So this one's a lady?" Dante asked outloud as he grabbed Valefor and took out his guns. He then grabs a hold of Valefor's chest and felt its breasts and squeezed it.
"Pervert..." Xai muffled. Flame rose around Xai as she changed into a Black Mage carring a staff. Xai then points the staff at Valefor and casted magic. "Flare!"
Vergil jumps off and lands on his feet. Dante held on with Valefor and got attacked.
"HEY! DON'T ATTACK ME!!" Dante yelled as he gripped on tighter.
"Then get the hell out of the way or you'll get more!" Xai yelled back and casted her strongest magic. "Ultima!"
A green light shines the area and it blasted the whole area. Valefor breathes heavily and charges its limit break attack.
"Energy blast..." Xai ran to Vergil and stood in front of him. "I advise you to stay behind... this is one of the strongest attacks..."
Valefor blasts out its power and Xai protects Vergil. Dante points his gun at Valefor's chest and shoots it, causing Valefor to fall down and cancel the full attack.
"Whew... that was a fun ride..." Dante wiped off the sweat from his forehead and got up.
Xai takes out her keyblade and walks to Valefor. "I'm sorry... but... I have to do this..."
Valefor nodds its head as Xai points the keyblade at Valefor and shot a white beam at Valefor and it turned into pyreflies. Xai puts away her keyblade and walks to the sacred room where the Aeon sleeps. After the praying, Xai walks outside the room.
Dante puts his hand on Xai's shoulder. "So... where to next?"
Xai turns towards Dante. "I don't know..."
Vergil walks to Xai and takes her hand. "This way..."
Xai nodds her head and follows Vergil. Dante pouts and sighs.
Hikari summons the new form of shadows, the shadow beasts. "Attack them and while they're attacking, kill the Sons of Sparda..."
Hikaru looked at the shadows. "Is this really us?"
Hikari turned towards her sister. "Of course its us... we wanted to become more powerful didn't we?"
Hikaru looked down. "Yeah but... not really like this..."
Hikari laughed. "Little sister... don't be foolish..." She then follows along with the shadows she summoned. "C'mon... once we're through with this, we can kill that bitch later..."
"I guess..." Hikaru followed her sister.
Vergil stops and waits for Dante to catch up. "We don't have all day Dante..."
Dante stopped and catched his breath. "C'mon... it's not like I'm the one who's causing all this you know..."
Xai walks forward to the window and looked outside. "Why are the Aeons here?"
The temple begins to shake and a piece of the area breaks apart a little. The area Xai is in breaks down. Dante jumps down and grabs Xai and jumps back all the way up.
"What's wrong with you? you could've jumped to the other side...!" Dante yelled.
Xai stabbed Dante in the stomach with her claws. Vergil watches Dante bleeding in pain. Xai takes out her hand from Dante's stomach and walks away and transformed into a berserker.
"Is that your thanks again?" Dante asked as his wound healed.
The shadow beasts appear from the bottom and roars. Xai takes a deep breath and roars loudly and the shadows back off, going off, switching their target to Vergil. Vergil stands in a fighting hand-to-hand position and formed his beowulf gaunlets.
"I see..." Hikari comes out from the shadows and grabs Dante. "I'll make a deal..."
Xai marks her claws on the ground and waited. Vergil steps forward and stands by Xai's side. "What do you want?"
"We don't want, we need to finish a battle..." Hikari said as she glared at Xai.
"Why don't you take Dante and be happy with it?" Vergil asked.
"We would, but our master ordered us to kill both of you..." Hikari smirked evilly.
Hikaru comes from behind Vergil and grabs him but Xai slashes her in the back. Hikaru lets go of Vergil and the shadow beasts jumps in front of her and growls at Xai.
Vergil stands by next to Xai. "How about we double team on this?"
Xai nodds her head and casts a berserk spell on her and Vergil and loses control.
Dante reaches for his guns and shot Hikari in the stomach. "You guys still would've taken me... but too bad..." Dante's legs and arms form his beowulf gaunlets and joins the battle with Xai and Vergil.
Hikari growls and summons more shadows. Hikaru summons the other shadows and disappears into the darkness.
After ten minutes, the shadows disappear and turn into pure hearts. Xai senses another Aeon coming towards them. A small flame sprouts from the ground and out from the ground comes Ifrit, the God of Fire. Xai's body glows gold and a portal comes from the sky as a transformation was happening. Ifrit's body turns dark as Xai comes out with a Machina (Machine). Ifrit blasts a meteor ball at Xai and the Machina avoids it, moving off to the side.
"What is that thing?" Dante wondered.
"Dante! Vergil! Use Ice powers against Ifrit...!" Xai yelled outloud.
"Okay!" Dante nodded and took out his Cerberus Ice Nunchakus and dashed towards Ifrit in full demon form.
Vergil transformed into his demon form and summoned his spiral swords and aimed it at Ifrit.
Xai commands the Machina to shoot some Ice missles at Ifrit and attacks it. Dante swings his ninchackus at Ifrit and made Ifrit become numb. Vergil dashed towards Ifrit and his summoned swords paralyzed Ifrit and he slashed Ifrit's horns off. Pyreflies come out of Ifrit's body and Ifrit sits down. Xai changes into her normal self and takes out her keyblade.
"It's not over yet..." Xai raises the keyblade towards Ifrit's heart. "Rest in Peace..." Xai seals Ifrit's heart and Ifrit disappears.
Dante changes back to his normal self and puts away the nunchakus. "That's three..."
Xai puts the keyblade away and walks to the next chamber. "....................."
Vergil changes back and places one hand on Xai's shoulder. Xai stops and a tear drops from her face.
"Don't cry..." Vergil conforted Xai as he wiped a tear away.
Xai turns around and Vergil tucks her in his chest. Dante walks to the next chamber and opens the door.
"I guess being an Aeon is hard, isn't it?" Dante asked as pyreflies flew around.
Xai wipes away her tears and shakes her head. "No really... it gets fun when you become one..." Xai laughed. She then hugs Vergil and lies on his shoulder. "Thank you Vergil..."
Vergil kisses Xai on the forehead and hugs her tightly closer to him. "You're welcome..."
Dante touches the wall and sees the glyth appear. "Now how does she do it again?" Dante places his hand over the glyth and the glyth glows and disappears, leaving a keyhole.
Xai and Vergil part away from each other for a while and follows after Dante.
"I see you need help Dante..." Xai said as she took out her keyblade and sealed the keyhole, making the wall rise up.
Vergil takes a look inside the hallway and sees the spheres glowing with fire in it. "I suppose this one resembles the Aeon of Fire, right?"
"Yep..." Xai nodded her head.
Dante walks to the doorway and notices another glyth on the door. He puts his hand over the glyth but it does not glow. "It worked last time... why doesn't it work?"
Vergil walks to Dante and places the flame orb in the sphere pedistal hanging in front of the door. The wall burns and Vergil takes it out again. Dante places his hand over the glyth again and it slides up, revealing the other path of the chamber.
"Seems like you two got the hang of the Chamber of Trials... lucky for you two, the ones you're doing are easy... my Chamber of Trials is a lot harder than you think..." Xai said as she walked to the other side. "Most of the summoners that became summoners couldn't ask for my help because they couldn't go through my trial... There were only about five that came through..."
"So yours is the harder one huh?" Dante said and smirked.
"Of course... I am Bahamut X, the Legendary Aeon of Destruction..." Xai said and looked at the final gate to Ifrit's resting place. "Before I forget, I want you two to pray to us Aeons..."
"And why is that?" Dante asked.
"Because we're Gods for one thing, and plus, we're Guardians..." Xai turned around and faced Dante and Vergil. "This is how you do it..."
After the practicing of praying to the Guardians, the three continue to Ifrit's resting place. The three pray and all of the sudden, Ifrit's resting grave turns gray as a grave stone.
Xai gasped and stood up.
"What's going on?" Vergil looked at the grave stone.
An ice block falls from the ceiling and falls on top of Dante. Dante takes out his rebellion and slices the ice block in half. Shiva appears and throws her cape and becomes possessed.
"Now this is what I'm talking about!!" Dante laughs and places his sword on his back and took out his guns.
Shiva places two fingers on her lips and spins around once. An ice dust blows at Dante and Dante becomes frozen. A light glows from Shiva's hand and blasts it at Dante. At the end she snaps her fingers and the ice breaks apart, leaving Dante on the ground all numb.
"Dante!" Vergil yelled out to him.
Shiva looks at Xai and Vergil and summons more falling ice. Vergil picks up Xai and jumps out of the way.
"Stay here..." Vergil summons out his beowulf gaunlets and waited for Shiva to attack.
Shiva runs towards Vergil and jump kicks him but Vergil blocks the attack and counters back with a kick in the air. Vergil teleports and drop kicks Shiva but Shiva quickly counters back with an ice element, Blizzaraga (the 3rd magic form of Blizzard). Vergil gets hit and quickly retreats back, falling and landing on his feet. He was breathing a little harder and was about to fall down. Shiva makes her final attack again on Vergil like what happened to Dante. She twirls again and makes a wave of ice and Xai stands in the way and counters back with a special black magic, Flare.
"That's enough! I won't let you freeze them and make them die!!" Xai said as a symbol appeared under her. She then disappears into the portal and transforms into a Dark Knight and climbs out of the portal, taking out her devil sword.
Shiva forms an ice barrier around the area and blocks off Dante and Vergil from the battle between the Aeons.
"Xai!" Vergil calls out to her and tries to break the barrier but the barrier remains unbroken.
Xai runs towards Shiva and attacks with her devil sword. Shiva dodges the attacks and jump kicks Xai but misses. Xai hits the ground with her sword and sends a wave of darkness to Shiva with a critial hit. Xai then casts a strong magic and clouds form around the area in the ice barriers.
"Black Sky!!" Xai calls out and dark meteors fall from the sky, making big explosions.
Shiva gets a big critical hit and falls down on one knee. Xai walks up to her and her devil sword transforms into a devil keyblade.
"Sorry, but you end here..." Xai pointed to Shiva. "Our dream has not been forgotten and faded yet..."
A beam comes out of the keyblade and seals Shiva and pyreflies appear out of the air. The ice barrier melts away and Xai runs to Vergil.
Xai puts the devil keyblade away and changes back to normal. "Are you alright Vergil...?"
Vergil grabs Xai. "You weren't hurt, were you?"
"No... but you are..." Xai touches Vergil's hands as his beowulf gaunlets disappeared. "Your hands are cold... you're starting to become numb..."
Vergil breathes more heavier and heavier and faints.
"Vergil!!" Xai catches Vergil. "Vergil!! Vergil!! don't die please!!!" A tear comes down Xai's eyes and Xai roars, echoing through the doors and chambers.
Hikaru was healing her wound and looked up and heard Xai's roar. "That sounded like that woman..." Hikaru teleported into the shadows and saw Xai cry, holding Vergil in her arms. "If his brother's right there... then Dante should be..."
Xai's tears falls down and touches Vergil's face. For a moment Xai's tears revives Vergil and Vergil squeezes Xai's hand. "I'm not dead..."
"Vergil?" Xai felt Vergil squeezing her hand. "I thought you were gone..."
Vergil sits up and hugs Xai. "I'm here now... that's all that counts..."
Xai relaxs and within moments, Vergil becomes warm and soft.
"Oh that's right..." Xai looked at Dante, still lying on the floor frozen. "We forgot about Dante..."
Vergil stands up and pulls Xai up. Both of them walk over to Dante and pokes him.
"What should we do to Dante...?" Vergil looked at Dante and grinned.
Xai changes into a white mage and places her staff over Dante's body. "Full life..."
A warm white light glows from Xai and Dante's body becomes purified, clearing and breaking off the ice and the frost covering his body.
"That should do it..." Xai waits for a moment and puts her staff away and changes back to her warrior form. "That's funny... he should've waken up already..."
Dante lies there on the floor and Vergil takes out his Yamato.
"Wait Vergil! What are you doing?" Xai asked as she stopped Vergil for a minute.
"What does it look like?" Vergil asked. "I know he's playing dead..." Vergil rises his sword up. He then stabs Dante in the stomach.
Dante wakes up and glares at Vergil. "Stupid Vergil! Can't you just have fun for a bit?!"
Xai laughs and smiles.
Vergil grabs Dante and takes out his sword. "Idiot..."
Dante falls back and twirls on his feet. "Jeez..."
Xai walks over to Ifrit's grave. "It's time then..."
Vergil puts away his Yamato and stands next to Xai. "What is it?"
"It has something to do with Yu-Yevon..." Xai said as she looked at the grave.
"Who's Yu-Yevon?" Dante asked as he dusted himself.

"When a summoner's journey is complete, they have to perform the sacred dance and set those lost ones free..." Xai kneels down on one knee next to the grave. "Until that time comes, I'll perform the sacred dance, but I'll disappear..."
"Oh dear!! that must be really sad...!" the knight shows up again.
"You!" Dante snarled.
"There's no need to use violence here devil boy... you just been healed by the great legendary Aeon..." the knight backed away and looked at Xai. "I'm surprised you Aeons can do that..."
"Is that why you're here? to praise us?" Dante took out his guns.
"Oops! Dear me...!" the knight playfully apologized.
Hikaru follows and sees the knight. "Who the hell is that guy? and why is he here? He's going to ruin our mission if he keeps this up..."
Hikaru appears from the shadows and walks toward the knight. The knight back off and retreats. "Well... nice to see you all doing fine, so I'll be back again to check on you all again!!" He bowed and disappeared.
"Hikaru..." Dante whispers.
"Dante..." Hikaru tries to hug Dante but Dante pushes her off.
"Sorry, I don't hug strangers..." Dante coldly said outloud. "You've changed ever since you followed after your sister... and you also tried to kill her over there..."
"Sis was right all along then..." Hikaru turns around and walks back to the shadows. "I'll come back for you..."
"Another challenge..." Xai smirked evilly and looked up ahead. "Seems like Dante's not a good guy girls look for anymore... They're really starting to go after you Vergil..."
"I wonder why..." Vergil looked at Dante.
"You're more stonger than Dante, you're not stupid like Dante... and I think that's it..." Xai counted her fingers.
Dante makes a growl. "Right..."
"Well... lets get going..." A spark shocks Xai's mind and she puts a hand on her head.
"Are you alright?" Vergil asked as he ran to Xai.
"Y-yeah... just a little headache..." Xai shooked it off but she felt herself getting weaker by each minute.
Just then, an anchor appears from the ceiling and falls into the deep earth, taking out another Aeon.
"A-Anima...?!" Xai's eyes widened.
"What is that thing?!" Dante yelled.
"Another Aeon... Dante..." Vergil sighed.
Xai glows light pink and flower petals group around her, revealing one of the final forms, Floral Fallal. "Anima is one of the strongest Aeons that can use death attacks... be careful..."
Dante took out his guns and shoots Anima's head. Vergil takes out a demon sword and hurls it at Anima's outer layer. Xai charges her three pistils on top of her and Anima attacks Dante and Vergil with Pain. Dante falls down as Vergil landed on his feet but kneels down. Anima then opens a portal to the underworld and the bottom part of Anima breaks through it's chains and throws death magic and attacks at Dante and Vergil.
"Ugh... I'm dead..." Dante layed on the ground as he and Vergil appeared back from the underworld.
Vergil breathed in pain and placed his hands on the ground. Xai blasts a white light from the three pistils at Anima. Xai takes out a keyblade and seals Anima, turning it into pyreflies. She puts the keyblade away and then raises both hands in front of her and casts a life magic, healing Vergil and Dante.
"Thanks..." Vergil got up and shook off the pain.
Dante sits up and shakes his head. "I guess I needed that..."
Xai transforms back into her normal form and kneels on the ground with the keyblade in her hand.
"Sis!" Hikaru calls out to Hikari.
Hikari comes out of the shadows. "What?"
"Where are you going?" Hikaru asked as Hikari walked into the chamber.
"I saw someone going this way, and I thought I'd check it out..." Hikari disappeared into the chamber.
"........" Hikaru silently sat down and sighed.
Dante kneeled down and moved his sword. "Here, let me carry you... it's the best thing I can do anyway..."
"Thanks Dante..." Xai got on Dante's back.
The three continue to walk and pyreflies begin to surround Xai.
"What's wrong with her?" Dante slowly puts Xai down.
Vergil lays Xai on his leg and touches her forehead. "Nothing on the fever..."
A couple strands of pyreflies appear from Xai's body and flies away.
"What the hell was that?!" Dante's face was shocked as if a ghost passed by.
"She can't be disappearing right now..." Vergil placed his hand on Xai's cheek and brushed it slowly.
Vergil looks up and picks up Xai, moving off to the side. Dante rolls out of the way as a triangular force of power falls down. The force of power reveals three bugs. One tall praying mantis, a ladybug, and a small bee. As they arrive, they start to change color and become possessed.
"Three chicks..." Dante smirked and picked up his sword.
