Sorry for not updating for so long. I was dealing a lot with the end of school, getting ready for the new school year and all. Plus I changed my writing style. Eh, to see my whole crazy excuse, go see my journal. Anyway, hope you enjoy this one. And thanks to all those who messaged me about my Naruto World series ^-^

~ERIOL'S POV~

"And that's the story," I finished.
By now, Kayla had finnaly come home from her night job and Justin and I had to tell her everything.
"I'm surprised that you two would argue," Kayla said with a laugh. "Aren't you guys itno that kinda thing?"
"Well, yeah but, um..." I was stuck for words.
"For me, Nami's like a sister so it's kinda weird seeing her like that," Justin said truthfully. "And for Eriol here, it's probabaly because Nami's the one and also because he's not used to seeing Nami of all people act that way."
I made a glance in his direction. "And just what do you mean by the one?"
"I guess it would explain why Nami's in her room giving herself a huge makeover," Kayla said, pondering. "She's getting new wardrobe, which in reality are my old clothes. She's redecprating her room into the opposite of who sh really is, plus she's getting all of my old magazines."
"Old magazines?" Justin and I both asked. We looked at eachother wide eyed, remembering what we did with our magazines. We both ran to Nami's room and slammed the door open. Jutsin's mouth practically dropped at the sight. The walls were pink and frilly, bras and underwear all over her bed, and as for the magazines, posters of all these body-builder guys all over her walls. She was standing in front of her mirror while curling her hair.
"Oh, my, gawd," we said, pausing with each word.
If I weren't so surprised, I would be wondering how she redecorated so fast in only one day, less even.
Nami looked our way and giggled. "Hey guys, couldn't stay way huh?"
"Quit talking like that, Nami. You're scarin' me here" Justin said, his hand in his hair.
"Yeah, it's not right," I said, still looking around the room fromt the door.
A sly smile came onto her face, though, as she stood up. "Oh really Eriol, if it's not right, then why don't you show me?" she said in a seducive way. Was this what nami had to go through when I was like that?
"Look Nami, if you're trying to teach me some stupid lesson, forget it."
"Who said I'm teaching a lesson?" she said again in that seducive tone.
Of all times for Kayla to not interfear, why now? "Nami cut it out! I'm serious!"
"And so am I," she said, wrapping her arms around my neck.
"Um, sorry Nami Eriol and I gotta be somewhere!" Justin said, grabbing my wrist and running into Nami's closet, into the Naruto world. I always wanted to try and not come in here for as long as possible, but we had no choise. I couldn't be anywhere in the same house as Nami right now.

When I opened my eyes, I saw the night sky above, the flowing grass ground benieth me. Justin and I sat up, taking in our surroundings.
"Where are we?" Justin asked.
I turned my head, seeing the KIA stone behind me. "We're definitly back in the Naruto World."
Justin looked down at his hand, seeing it in anime form, after all these years. "I'm worried about Nami. Something's up."
"Please don't tell me you just realized that now," I said, stanidng up. "Let's get to Lady Tsunade first. I don't think Nami ever went back to her for that mission report, remember?"
He nodded, folowing my orders. We walked through the empty midnight streets of Konoha. Hard to believe that even after not being here for two and a half years, we still knew our way around. this was probabaly a good thing. If we came durring the day, people would be swarming around us, seeing two other dementional ninja other than Nami.

We arrived in the oh so famous Hokage Building. The lights were still on in the top floor where Tsunada would be. But knowing her, she was most likely alseep at her desk again. We entered the building. It was empty as well. Everyone was at home asleep I guessed. The both of us went up the stairs, entering through the open door. Inside was Hinata and Kiba, both in front of Tsunade's desk. When they turned around, you can guess how surprised they were to see us.
"Well what do you know, it's Justina and Eriol," Kiba said with a smirk, showing his fangs.
"I guess nami was telling the truth after all," Hianta added in her usual quiet tone.
"I've been expecting to see you two eventually," said Tsunade's voice in between. "You don't happen to know where Natsumi might be, do you?"
"At our place trying to molester Eriol," Justin joked, making me glare at him with an anime vien. "So Hinata, what are you doing over here so late?"
"I just came here telling Tsunade about Natsumi's whereabouts, seeing that she never reported for her mission."
"Hm, we were doign the same thing," I said. "And you Kiba?"
"Just came to acompany Hinata," he answered. "It is midnight afterall, and I couldn't have Hinata go alone, even though she shoudl be doing this tomorrow rather than today."
"Well I'm worried!" Hinata retorted.
"And so are we," Justin interjected. "Its' Nami, she's acting strange."
Tsunade cocked her eyebrows. "How so?"
Hinata's face saddened. "Is she still acting up?"
"Unfortunatly," I answered, trying to keep away those nasty memories of the new Natsumi.
"We'll try to look into this over nights. Meanwhile, the both of you can stay at Natsumi's mansion. We'll get you tomorrow moring if we find anything," Tsunade explained.
Justin and I bowed and left the building, heading to the Konoha Mansion, the place Nami grew up in for the past two and a half years.
Justin looked at me as we walked. "What's with you,, dude? You haven't said a word sine we went to Tsunade's."
"Just worried."
He smirked. "Still like Natsumi huh?"
"As a friend only. I don't love her anymore."
Justin pouted. "If you were just her friend, would you be worrying about her this much?"
"Hey, you're just as worried as I am."
"That's because I think of Nami as a little sister, and I love her," he said in contrast. "You, on the other hand, didn't just love her. You were in love with her. There is a huge difference."
"No there isn't."
"In my vocabulary it is."
I rolled my eyes at this pointless conversation. But over the past few hours Nami's acted so strangely, I have been worried about her. Maybe I was tsrating to like her again-No, impossible. I was in love with her before and look what happened. She was dead for two and a half years and ripped my heart out. I don't need ever lasting love if I can find different kinds elsewhere.

"This the right place?" Justin asked, looking up at the old Konoha Mansion. It seems over the years, the mansion got a new paint job. A random colorful one, too.
"Being Nami's house, I'd expect this to be her's," I commented. "Come on."
We walked inside, turning on the lights. Here in the living room were Moegi, Konohamaru, and Udon, all sleeping on the couch in front of a television. It seems they just woke up at the sound of us opening the door.
When they saw us, their droppy eyes widened.
"Oh my gosh is that really them?" Konohamaru asked.
"Yup," Justin said with a grin on his face.
The three teenagers jumped off the couch and ran to us.
"Where've you been?" Undon asked.
"In our world, doing certian things," I answered.
"What are you doing here though?" Moegi asked.
"Lately, Nami's been actin' kinda weird and we can here to ask around what's goin' on," Justin explained.
"For the mean time, we'll be staying over here," I added. "Now what are you guys doing here?"
"Nami always lets us stay here," Konohamaru replied. "Sorta like all of us are a big ninj anteam and this is our headquarters."
"Yeah except Nami's not a jonin and is not your sensei," Justin pointed out.
"You don't have to ruin all the fun, you know," Moegi said with a pout.
"Either way we'll solve this thing tomorrow. I'm fonna get some sleep," Justin said, fallng into a couch chair.
"Now that's an idea I can agree with!" Konohamaru and Udon said, marching their way towards the couch with his friends.
"I'm gonna explore a bit," I said, walking into the halls.
Moegi tilted her head. "Nami was right. Eriol is different from how he used to be."
"Eh, you'll get used to it," Justin said, a pillow over his head.

I came across a familiar looking door. When I oepned it the inside looked fairly similar to Nami's old room. Same colors, same decorations. I narrowed my eyes, knwoing that the thing that i was looking for was in here, whatever it was. I entered the room and started looking through it. Nami would probabaly kill me later when she gets back to her old self, no, if she ever gets back to her old self.
I noticed most of her things were brought into the real world when she moved back in. Then I came across a shelf in the wall. A few books, and then the music box. I had forgotten all about it, didn't even remember it. I stepped onto her bed and reacher for the musicbox on the shelf until-
"Sneaking around are we?" said Moegi's voice.
I yelped and fell off the bed, taking all of the shelf's conetnts with me downward.
Moegi fliched and closed one eye, watching me fall.
I sat up, grabbing a book off my head. "Thanks a lot Moegi," I said with an anime vein.
"Serves you right," she said, walking towards me to help pick up th thinsg that fell off the shelf. "What are you doing in here anyway? This is one of the reasons Nami lets us stay here, to watch for bad guys like you."
"I am not the bad guy here."
"Then who is, Eriol?"
"... At this point I don't really know," I said with a sigh. "I guess that's why I came in here, to find out why."
"Then you might want to start with this," Moegi said, handing me the musicbox.
I took it from her, examning it. I opened the lid, noticing the melody would no longer play.
"It stopped playing after a while Nami moved here. But she says she still keeps it because it reminds her of her home," Moegi explained.
For a 13-year old girl, she sure knew how to make a guy feel guilty. "I just want to see why Nami's acting so strange."
Suddenly, a light started to shine inside of the musicbox. Moegi and I closed our eyes from the brightness. When we oepned the back up, we saw the entire room black and white. The only things in color were me, Moegi, and the musicbox.
"Great, now what?" I asked, looking around.
"H-Hopefully not that?" Moegi stammer, pointing behind me. behind I saw an older looking woman, and black and whitetransparent too. A ghost? It couldn't be the Hoshikomane, she was too pretty.
"Eriol, Moegi," she said in a soothing voice.
"How do you know our names?" I asked.
"Eriol you can be such an idiot," Moegi said. "Doesn't you recognize that voice? That's Nami!"
My facial expression changed and I looked back to the woman. Not that she mentioned it, she did look a lot like Nami, in a way.
"She speaks the truth, Eriol," she said. "I am Natsumi Masaki."
"Great, you're not dead are you?" I asked.
"You an say somewhat inbetween."
"What do you mean by that?" Moegi asked.
"I am Nami's soul, many years into the future. When I was 15, I made a deal with the Hoshikomane."
"That thing's still here?" I asked.
She nodded. "Yes, and I was foolish to have agreed. I sold her my soul after she tricked me into it. I was split in half, yin and yang. I am my good side. And unfortunatly, my bad side is still in my physical body. And with no yin to balance out the yang, you know how rought that can get."
"No wonder you seem so soficticated," Moegi said.
"Is there anyway I can get you, her, Nami back to normal?" I asked, getting confused.
A book appeared in her hand and flew to me. "That is a journal I have been keeping with me. Although I am a seperate part of my own soul, I can see thorugh the eyes of my body. And through very special research, I found many things that will help you on your ninja journey, as much as I hate it."
"You hate being a ninja?" we both asked in disbelief.
"Of course. There's so much fightinf and so much blood. Way to dangerous for girls."
"Now I know why Nami needs both yin and yang," I said with a sweatdrop.
Then the yin side of Nami's soul dissappearered into the musicbox as all of the color returned.
"OK.... that was weird," Moegi said finnaly.
"At least now we know what we're looking for," I said, looking down at the book. "The Hoshikomane."
