He looked through the window. At his own childhood, when he was carefree. He got up, all the scars, especially one running from his eye down to his leg moved with him. Everyone seemed to be talking about a rebellion. He did not get it. He let them live peacefully, hauled crops to the shop, and whoever opposed his kingdom he simply asked a one-on-one with thier leader, to prevent blood to be shed.
One day he decided to ask his people why they wanted to rebel. He stepped out of his castle and looked around. Rats and rabbits were living peacefully, why did they want to rebel? He approached a rat who was whispering about my death. "Why do you wish to rebel?" The giant rabbit asked "Because, because." But the rat had no answer he quietly walked away.
He looked down at his paws. Silently he wondered how his claws had gotten so sharp in such a short time. Someone yelled at him from a distance "Get out of the castle." He looked over and saw a young rabbit, no scars, no sharp claws, just barely an adult. "Why do you want me out of the castle?" He asked "Because, because, you ain't good!" The young rabbit yelled defiently "Why aren't I good?" He asked again the young rabbit had no answer. He walked solemnly away.
His tongue felt his teeth. "How did my teeth become fangs?" He wondered A rat was talking to a group a mix of rats and rabbits. "We shall take down Rajuler!" A chorus of yells supported his idea of taking him down. "Who started the word of taking me down?" the crowd and the rat cowered in fear. "Um, it was Fidelus." The rat nervously said he nodded and walked to his best friend's house.
It was more of a shack than a house. "Fidelus!" He called Fidelus walked out, a scar running down his flank and a missing eye, Fidelus had just as many battle wounds as Rajuler. "A rat told me that you started the word of taking me down." Rajuler said showing no emotion. "So what?" Fidelus growled "You don't deserve to be in that castle when all I have is my shack!" "Then take it." The king said "I do not wish to rule no longer. You may take the thrown." "Yeah right." His best friend sneered "I know you Rajuler! You won't give up without a fight!"
Fidelus ran toward his former friend and tried to slash at him. Rajuler dodged and opened the scar on his flank. Fidelus took no notice and tried to slash at me again. He turned around and chased Fidelus all the way to the castle. When they were inside Rajuler said "This is your home now. Take care of my kingdom with pride or they'll have a reason to rebel." He walked out of the castle and went to Fidelus's shack.
He heard thudding outside. Immeadiatly he went outside to see what all the comotion was about. A rabbit was trying to attack his kingdom, sorry Fidelus's kingdom. "If you wish to attack this kingdom." Rajuler said "Then prepare to fight me." The rabbits didn't look like they had fought in any wars, just with words. They all laughed and lunged at the war hero.
To him it was easy to kill them all. But he strained himself trying not to kill them. Also, they're were more than 100 rabbits attacking on instinct. "Got a bone to pick with Rajuler's kingdom?!" Screamed Fidelus "Then you deserve to die!" Fidelus joined the fight just as animated when he was a child. Rajuler smiled in what felt like years and the two friends successfully kicked out the invaders.
"Sorry, bud." Fidelus said "After a few minutes I felt guilty that I had attacked my friend and left him to live in an old shack so I came back. Then I saw these guys and you know the rest." Fidelus looked ashamed "You may live in a house in the courtyard that I had built long ago." Rajuler said "And thanks."
At the castle Rajuler opened a window showing his past. And watched his childhood
