~~* Half an hour of the flight left *~~

I felt a nudge in my side and I quickly jerked awake, "Andy. We're landing in half an hour.", I heard Kenny's voice say.

I groaned and fumbled for my bag which was resting near my feet. My leg was throbbing and I could feel blood pulsating through my veins. I grimaced at the bright light coming from a nearby window and zipped open a section in my bag.

"Is she okay?", asked Jack leaning across the aisle.

"Ma'am we need you to buckle your seat-belt.", a steward said quickly walking by. I nodded and pulled out the small orange prescription bottle.

Take one every four hours, the doctors voice rang through my head. I popped open the child proof lock on the bottle and popped it into my mouth quickly. I sighed and swallowed the small capsule, feeling nauseously dry now. I shuddered and snapped the belt close over my waistline.

"You okay?", Kenny asked looking concerned.

I nodded, "Yeah. Damn leg.", I said looking down at the lump wistfully.

"Can I sign your cast!?", Alex asked excitedly looking back at me putting the pills back into my bag.

I grinned and nodded.

"Me next!", Jack said jumping out of his seat and following Alex who was already on his knees signing my cast.

"Now you have all of the members of ATL who signed your cast."

"And Jamie", she added grinning

"Feel Special", Rian finished capping the permanent marker he had used.

I grinned, "I do."

"Mr. Gaskarth, your seat?", asked the steward puffing out his chest.

Alex rose to his feet and stuck his tongue out at the stewards retreating back.

I grinned at his childish antics and felt the pain from my leg gradually ebb away. I breathed a final sigh of relief as the wheels of the plane touched onto the ground, and the sounds of applause quickly entered and subsided.

"I never have really understood the point of that.", Jack said turning on his phone.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, if you would please follow me.", said the steward loftily, still puffing out his chest pridefully. I staggered to one foot and grabbed the seat in front of me, while Kenny handed me my crutches. Kenny, in addition to carrying his bag, also kindly enough carried mine. I flattened out my black shirt slightly and adjusted my hat more securely onto my head. I had forced my blonde mass under a hat the morning we left, so nobody would be blinded by the platinum mess. I limped out of the plane, and after the pompous steward who led us into a private waiting room where I recognized my grandma who was already standing with a trolly with all of our luggage (not much was mine), and a man who I did not recognize stood leaning against it slightly. "Oh, KIDS!", my gran said happily sauntering over to us and giving Kenny and I both big hugs.

"Was it Danielle?", she asked motioning to my leg. I sighed and nodded. The man who was leaning against the trolley was now talking to Alex while quickly dislodging my wheel chair from the pile and unfolding it.

"Oh kids! Meet Drew Gaskarth.", my grandma said ushering me into the seat, "He kindly helped me with the luggage today. He's Alex's uncle and he has a lovely son, Brandon. Speaking of which, where is he?", she asked taking my crutches and handing them to Kenny who grimaced and leaned them against the luggage cart.

"Here he is.", Drew said ruffling the guys hair and taking the cup of coffee out of his hand.

"Hey Brand.", Alex said giving him a man hug.

"Hey man. Anything new?", Brandon asked shoving his hands into his pant pockets and nudging the ground with his converse clad foot. So saying that the Gaskarth family was gorgeous was an understatement.

"Not much, just the tour. Hows your band going?", Alex asked as my grandma and Mr. Gaskarth exchanged contact information.

"Kind of sluggish. We can't find a singer anywhere. And we really want a male vocalist.", Brandon confessed with a sigh.

Alex's face showed some confusion, "Hold auditions?"

"Good idea."

"Alright kids. Turns out that Alex's family doesn't live too far from us!", my gran announced happily.

"Alex will you push Andy?", Mr. Gaskarth asked taking hold of our own luggage cart, and Jack

pushing his own luggage.

My grandmother instantly began to fuss, "Oh no no, you don't have to do that!" she insisted trying to take the cart away from Mr. Gaskarth.

"Its all right Mrs. Johnson. Just show me where your car is.", he demanded in his deep calming voice.

I smiled and shook my head.

"Andrea, darling, your mother tells me you burned all of those revealing clothes of yours!", my gran said trying to make conversation as we walked toward the car.

"Yep.", I replied,"I'm gonna get a whole new wardrobe. I'm using my own money, so don't worry about it."

"That sounds wonderful dear. It was about time you let that slut Jennifer stop bossing you around and fend for yourself." my gran said some of her new york accent coming through as we arrived at her car. I grimaced as my phone rang. I struggled to get it out of my pocket and noticed it was Jenny calling.

"What the hell do you want.", I asked obvious hate coming through my voice.

"Andyyy!!! What was that?! You didn't show up at the party!", Jenny's annoying voice poured through my phone.

I took a deep sigh and refrained from slamming my phone into the ground with as much force as I could muster.

"Jennifer. How many times will it take for this to get through your thick blonde skull. I. Hate. You. And as if you would care, I'm in Maryland. You were too self absorbed to even notice the 'For Sale' sign, weren't you. Bye Jennifer. Don't call back." I said every word rolling off of my tongue like venom and I let out a sigh of relief as I hung up on her.

"Some friends you have," Alex said with a slight grimace.

"No kidding.", I replied a dry smile on my face.

"Come on dear.", My grandmother said as Mr. Gaskarth finished loading up the last of the luggage.

I stuck my phone into the pocket of my jeans and let Alex help me out of the chair. Somehow I ended up tripping and nearly falling face foreword but saved myself put body slamming Alex who placed his hands around my waist and let me lean against him while I hopped to a more comfortable position.

"Shit this is going to take some getting used to.", I groaned and leaned against the car. "Sorry about that.", I said in an undertone to Alex, whose face was a nice shade of red.

"No problem. Here's my phone number and address. Call me if you get bored or something...", he said avoiding my eyes as he handed me a piece of paper. I grinned and nodded.

"Lets go then guys!", Mr. Gaskarth called.

Jack instantly launched himself at me, covering me in a big bear hug, and waved in Kenny's direction. I wobbled into the front seat and settled into the old leather seat.
