Chemistry Between Us (CSI:, CSI:NY, CSI:Miami) Chapter Thirteen

It took about three seconds before I regained my bearings and realized what had just happened.
Without another second of hesitation I flew through the door in front of me, once again freezing in my tracks.
My eyes widened at the sight before me, my mind trying to convince itself that it wasn't real; that I was having a horrible dream and would soon wake up.
But Paul's words tore that last bit of hope from my grasp.
"Well, Athena. How nice of you to join us."
He stood facing me, two men in front of him, backs to me.
But even with their backs turned I knew it was Nick and Danny. Both of their police issue .45s were on the ground between them and Paul, having been kicked forward to lightly.
I exhaled sharply, closing my eyes,realizing that Danny must have run past me and out the door when I pushed into the crowd of people at the baggage terminal.
The two CSIs turned their heads toward me- careful not to move their bodies so they would get shot- and I saw in their eyes that they wanted me to leave; to get out and save myself.
But I wasn't going anywhere. I refused to let Millander fuck with me anymore than he already had.
"What do you want?" I spat, bravery I didn't have lining my voice.
A little smirk marred his features, and he eyed the men in front of him (NOT THAT WAY PERVERTS!) before answering my question.
"I want you to choose. Danny Messer or Nick Stokes? Which one lives?"

OH SNAP! I know you're all probably really mad at me for the cliff hanger and it being really short, but school is almost out for me, so I'll have plenty of time to update. There's really only one chapter left, but I might make an epilogue, and if a lot of people are into the idea; a sequel. But for now, just rate and message, my lovlies, and keep checking for updates!
