[Uchiha] {Warning: Dangerous when angered} [Sasuke] ((1))

Yabureme looked around. Most of them were here...except...Sasuke. He wasn't here. She was worried, but too scared to say anything. She looked at the proctor, and everyone in the stadium. She had passed a few in the halls as she was getting here, and she heard them talking.
"Did you hear? That infamous girl, Yabureme, the one who's family died in that freak ice accident by her sister...she's fighting Gaara of the Desert! Oh, and the last Uchiha is fighting that Touji! I heard it's going to be one intense battle!" They had said. She gulped. Her, against the famous Gaara? She wouldn't stand a chance! Of course, not a month ago, but she might've now, since she had so easily trained hard enough...
"First match, Neji VS Naruto! Anyone who is not participating in this battle, go to the participant's area immediately." He told them. Yabureme followed the group, marching behind Kane. She was scared...obviously. Of course, who wasn't? She sat at the edge, watching the battle, but glanced over at Gaara a few times, wondering if she even had a chance. She had a plan to defeat him, but, she didn't think it was very good...but, what other chance did she have? She looked back down, seeing she missed Naruto's whole battle, but he had won. She cheered, clapping for him, and he saw her, giving her a thumbs up and running around proudly.
"The next match will be Temari VS Shikamaru!" The new proctor called out. Naruto came up and pushed Shikamaru down. Yabureme walked over and put a hand on Naruto.
"Good job, Naruto-san! You were awesome!" She complemented. Naruto blushed and scratched the back of his head before looking at the battle. Yabureme turned her head and saw Gaara staring at her. She almost whimpered and bit her lip before turning away and sitting on the railing again. Shikamaru was talking about why he had just given up instead of finishing her off with the millions of moves he had planned in his head.
"Third match, Shino VS Kankurou!" But before Shino could jump down and take Kankurou on, Kankurou rose his hand.
"I give up." He easily said. Yabureme was quite shocked. He seemed like Yuuku, someone who would never give up. She looked over. Sasuke was still not here! She jumped off the railing and headed for the proctor.
"Please! You have to give Sasuke more time!" She pleaded. The proctor flicked his stick up and down and looked up at the Hokage. Suddenly, out of the blue, there was a rush of leaves and Yabureme's hair was blown back by a gust of wind. She opened her eyes and saw Kakashi-sensei and Sasuke standing next to each other, just in arrival. Yabureme smiled and ran over to them.
"You arrived!" She cheered quietly, looking at Sasuke. He had changed his outfit and his hair had grown. He, at first, gave her a cold look, but them warmed up. "Do well, Sasuke! Kane won't go easy on you!" Yabureme cheered for him, but Naruto jumped down and dragged her back to the participant's holding area. Kane was already down on the arena, ready to battle Sasuke. Sasuke got into a fighting position and Kane stood there. In the audience, Yuuku was watching Kane intently.
"Don't overdo it, Kane..." He whispered to himself.
"Begin!" The proctor called out, and jumped away. Kane immediately began, pulling out thin metal wires and whipping them around him, then shot senbons out at him.
/That's a clone.../ Yabureme heard inside of her head. /...your friend is so untalented./
"Shut up!" Yabureme said aloud, and blushed when she realized she had done so. The others were staring at her. She turned and looked back at the battle. 'Other side, please...don't start now. Our battle is almost here.' She thought back to the voice.
/Fine, but I'm not going easy on that Gaara boy.../ The voice was raspy and almost like a hiss. Yabureme ignored her and paid more attention to the battle. Sasuke was behind him and attack him Taijutsu style. Yabureme knew it was bad. Kane, ever since he had his arm torn, was always a good expert at block Taijutsu. Yuuku, on the other hand, hated the way he would block with his metal arm. "It's not good for you," he would say. Kane blocked and made offensive moves too, but alike him, Sasuke blocked them with ease. After a while, the fight got predictable. Until Kane was caught off guard. Sasuke had pulled out kunai and raced it towards him. Kane lifted up his right arm, easily blocking them, but...
"Kane!" Yabureme whispered. She saw the mistake. The horrible, dreadful mistake. Sasuke knew he was going to do this, so he changed one of the kunai's degrees. Just by a little. The kunai bounced off the metal arm and then charged into Kane's stomach, causing the blood to come out. Kane was shocked, but he stood his ground.
"A little kunai isn't going to stop me!" Kane shouted back, but didn't notice the blood trickling out of his mouth. He pulled out a scroll and took some of the blood from his stomach and wiped it across. He was summoning his trusty golden katana. He tipped it towards Sasuke, who was on the wall.
"Time to finish this battle!" They both yelled at the same time. Sasuke was focusing chakra into his palm. Yabureme could've sworn she heard a thousand birds chirping, but she saw lightning like chakra form at the palm of his hand and then he headed down the wall, destroying it as he went. Kane rushed forward with his katana, determined that he was going to win. There was a burst of chakra and then smoke covered the area. People gasped up in the crowds. When the smoke cleared, it was obvious who had won. Yabureme covered her mouth. The lightning move went straight through Kane's chest. He was alive, she was sure. Or at least, other side was.
/Don't fret. I've watched that boy. He's not dead./ It still didn't calm Yabureme the least bit.
"The winner is Uchiha Sasuke!" The proctor called out. Yabureme jumped from her position and ran over to the medical team who was taking Kane in. She watched, but she didn't speak. She needed to save her energy. She looked back at Sasuke, who was jumping up to the participant's area. She smiled weakly, though it was obvious that she was sad. She gave him a thumbs up and he smiled back down at her, giving her a small one back. Naruto cheered loudly for her.
"Yeah Yabureme-chan! YOU CAN DO IT! BELIEVE IT!" He yelled, making Sasuke grimace. She gulped before walking onto the fighting area, getting ready. All she had to do was remember the plan. That was easy, right?
