Falling Head Over Heels is Funner Than It Sounds

As Josh and I drove away from GeeGee's, I let out a huge sigh. "That was intense," I said.

"Well that complete asshole had it coming," Josh said, gritting his teeth, "He's just lucky I didn't bash his face in like he deserved. He got away lucky."

"Ya......It was nice to get back at him too," I grinned. Josh glanced over at me. "Yeah, that was great Dan. And you are so incrediably sexy when you knee other guys in the balls," He laughed. I smiled up at him.

"Well if it wasn't for my "sexyness" we wouldn't be in this mess would we?" I laughed.

"Oh I dont think this is really a "mess". I'm pretty sure he won't try that again. And I'll tell all the guys to keep an eye on him alright?"

"Aw, your such a sweetie," I said and leaned up and kissed him on the cheek. He turned his face to mine and stole another kiss.

"I'm so glad your mine," he whispered in my ear, sending chills down my spine. "So am I," I whispered back and kissed his nose. He smiled and grabbed my hand, and just held it close. I leaned back in my seat again, thinking how I was the luckiest girl in the world.

I walked through my front door, kicking off my shoes, tossing my bag on the floor and throwing the keys on the counter. I grabbed an apple and headed up the stairs to my room. But before I had even reached the top step I was ambushed my brother. "Danni!!! What the hell happened with Logan?! I leave you and your boy toy alone with him for half an hour, and he comes stumbling into 7th period, claiming that thanks to you he will never have children!" He shouted, shaking me by the shoulders.

"Woah there Chance don't hurt yourself. OK first of all, Josh is not my boy toy. He is my boyFRIEND. There is a rather large difference. And second, your little buddy Logan freaking groped me. Felt me up. INFRONT of Josh. Its not like I was gonnna let him get away with it unscathed wasI?" I asked, shrugging himoff and heading up the stairs again.

"Wait-What? Logan felt you up? I--How--I mean--What?" Chance stuttered, obviously taken back.

I sighed. "I thought you would have known this little peice of information by now, Chance. I saw Terry Fisherat GeeGee's when it happened, soI thought the entire world would know by now."

Chance finallycomposed himself. "Well....Couldyou have told him off without physically assaulting him?
So much for brotherly protectiveness.

I turned toChance, my arms crossed. "HE physically assaulted ME ok?I was just defending myself."

Chance rolled his eyes. "Danni. Logan probably hates this town now. You make wonderful first impressions, you know that?"

Despite what Chance said, I had a feeling thatLogan wasn't too disapointed by his new town.From the looks he was giving me, even afterI had kneed him in the crotch, he had looked, well excited.Like I was a challenge or something. As if. I didn'twant anything to dowith the guy.
"Yeah, yeah I know. Now, if you will excuse me, I have things to do." I said, and walked up the rest of the stairs to my room. I opened the doorand was greeted by my dogBelle. I bentdown to scratch her ears. "Hey baby," Isaid. I stood up again. And gasped. There was a HUGE bouquet of roses on my dresser. "Oh myGod...."I gasped as I tentatively touched one of the roses. I spotted a card tied to the vase.

It had my name on thefront. I opened it and read:

Did you really think it would be that easy to get away from me?

I immediatly took the roses and threw them out the window.
