The sun was high in the sky as I sighed and wiped another table in the coffee shop. Ringing out the wet cloth in the cream coloured bucket I walked back into the kitchen and poured the water into the sink.
Taking off my yellow cleaning gloves I sighed while placing my hair into a pony tail. It has been atleast 5 hours that I've been here today, time to go home. I was about to take my apron off until the door of the coffee shop opened and I growled under my beath.
I'm tired and sweaty and here come more customers, wonderful.
Trying to clean my mind off all the curses that I wished to sayI walked out of the kitchen to see Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, Kiba and-
My heart leeped into my throat as I felt like I was about to clam up again, it was Neji.
Nobody , other than my sister Ino, new about my crush on Neji. I always loved his eyes, his long black hair and his wonderful smile that only comes onto his face occasionally. Making me love him even more.
Naruto waved at me, making me jump out of my thoughts "Hey Daiki-chan!" I smiled lightly and nodded to him, making him smile larger.
Sakura glared at me as I returned the favor.The reason why she hates me is because she thought I liked Sasuke just because I used to talk to him quite a few times. He's younger than me, so,I don't think it will happen anytime soon.
Ridiculous, I know.
Placing on a happy face I walked over to them "Hey guys, what can I get you?" Sasuke looked at me and went to speak as Sakura glared at me some more.
"Oh, we don't want anything to drink Daiki, we just wanted to come and ask you something" I crooked my head to the side, making my pont tail slightly hang.
"We wanted to know if you would like to come to my party tonight?" Kiba spoke up as Sakura huffed, obviously against this whole thing from the start.
I walked out from behind the counter and finally hung my apron up on the side "No thank you, I just want to hang out tonight" They all nodded, Sakura brightened by my words and suddenly smiling. Then she wraped her arm around Sasuke's, making him shrug her off.
"Alright then, if you want to though you know where it is" I nodded just as they walked out the door. Before they did thoughI saw Neji look at me. Our eyes connected and I got the same feeling in my stomache again. A blush appeared on my face and just as he was about to walk away. I think I saw him smile a bit.
Shrugging I walked out and locked the door behind me. Finally loving the fact that it was time for me to go home.

It was atleast ten thirty five at night right about now. I was sitting on the couch in mine and Ino's house and flicking channels from the TV.
Ino went to Kiba's party around eight, she told me she hoped they would play seven minutes in heaven and she'd get Sasuke. I laughed at that of course. I always thought it was so cute how she had a crush on the Uchiha.
I finally got off of the couch and patted down my light blue, sleeveless top and brown short shorts. Opening up the closet in the hallway near the front door I took out my sneakers and a light sweater.
I should get some fresh air
Opening the front door I was greeted by the cool breeze on my cheeks and bare legs. The air was moist as I was walking around the village. I soon came to a little pathway through the woods and walked along it.
I didn't know where I was going but all I knew was that I had a feeling I was getting lost since I'm off the path now.
I just continued walking in the same direction. I closed my eyes and just listened to the wind and the nearby owl. My ears soon picked up the sound of running water. opening one eye I pushed back a bush and then a sedden gasp escape my small and pouty lips.
My teal eyes looked over the scenary. It was beautiful. There was green grass everywhere and a waterfall with clear water falling from above. The mist was everywhere above the small lake as the tiny fireflies here and there that lighted the place up made it look wonderful.
I didn't know how I never new this pace was here before.
Walking into the area I sat down infront of the edge of the lake. Taking my shoes and socks off I dipped my toes into the water. It wasn't cold nor warm, just right.
I soon closed my eyes and just layed on my back, thinking about today.
Oh how Neji looked wonderful in his gray shirt and with his silver eyes looking into mine. I just wish I could tell him how I feel, to bad I'm such a coward.
I suddenly relized that I had to tell him sooner or later, it was already eating me up inside on how he didn't know about my feeling towards him. I have never really even talked to him before, it's just that he's so wonderful so....so... perfect.
And I'm not.
I'm just regular Daiki Yamanaka, Ino's older sister. Nothing special. The only real talent I had was drawing, but I don't show anyone my drawings so it doesn't really matter.
My mindless thoughts surfed throughout my head as the water was all I heard from aound me, until, I heard a twig snap.
My eye's opened wide. Who could it be? An animal? An Akasuki?!!
I'm weaponless and defensless right now. I could die for all I know.
Panic opened my eyes as I sat up, feet still in the water as my breath quickened "W-Who is there?" I stuttered, I hated it when I stuttered. Made me always feel helpless and weak.
Nobody responded until I heard a bush being rustled, My head turned slightly as my teal coloured eyes looked in the direction I heard the noise. Nothing was there. Maybe it was just my imagination, ya, probably. I always was a dreamer.
I went to relax again until the noise came back. My throat tightened. This is no day dream, no illusional sound. Somethingis there.
I didn't bother to speak, acually I didn't even move.
That's it, if someone is there and their dangerous. I don't care. Nobody really notices me, I'm nothing special, the person I like doesn't even relize I'm there unless its for atleast 2 seconds. I'm a hopeless case, just kill me then.
" I don't care if your going to kill me. My life isn't anything special. The person I like doesn't even notice me, so go ahead" I whispered loud enough so whoever or whatever could hear me. The responce I got was the sound of feet coming into the area. I really regreted what I just said now.
Tightening my eyes, waiting for pain to shot throughout my body, but nothing came.
Opening one I, then the other I looked into the water. I gasped in my head. Behind me was, none other than, Neji Hyuga.
My breath was lost in the air now and I just stayed, wide-eyed, at the water and the figure that was visable in it other than me.
Neji moved and ended up sitting beside me, He dipped his feet into the lake aswell as I still didn't do anything. I saw his head turn to me from in the water, I slowly turned to look at him.
"Oh, Umm.. Hi Neji" I whispered, well more like sqeaked.
His eyes remained with no emotion until he opened up his perfect lips to speak.
"Why would you want to die?"I gave him a questionable glance as his hair swayed in the wind.
"You said 'I don't care if your going to kill me. My life isn't anything special. The person I like doesn't even notice me, so go ahead ' why would you say such a thing?" I shrugged and then looked back into the water, moving my feet around to hear the water slur.
"Because it's true" This time he gave me a questionable glance, I finally sighed. Better now than never.
"Nobody even notices me, all I am is Ino's older sister and besides the person I like doesn't even notice me either, probably not like me either" I whispered the last part, hoping he wouldn't hear. Yet he did.
Saprisingly, he took a strand of my blonde hair and placed it behind my ear.
"Thats not true Daiki, everyone likes you. And I bet whomever you like, they like you back" He whispered the last part also, I looked into his eyes. He showed true emotion this time. Like a sad emotion, like he was hoping that I'd tell him who I was refuring to. He turned his head to look at the water.
I sighed making Neji loked back at me again "I think I should tell you the truth Neji, it's about time you new anyway" This made him gain alot of interest so he listened carefully, but just as I was about to say the truth he spoke insted.
"I have to tell the truth also" I looked at him curiously, wondering what he ment by that.
He sighed and turned his body to face me more, while taking my hand in his. Making me turn 5 shades of red.
"You can speak first if you like" I shook my head "No, its okay, you first" He sighed again and almost frowed. Like he wished I hadent said that.
He spoke anyway "Daiki, I have liked you...for a long time now. Ever since I saw you at the training area when we were 13 I have liked you. Maybe even...love you" I gasped, my eyes fild with tears. I can't believe it, he acually like me.
I felt like a thousand weights were lifted off my shoulders as he just kepy staring into my eyes.
"whats wrong Daiki, you look like your about to cry" I nodded and then, huged him. He staggered back a little but the wraped his arms around my waist as I whispered in his ear my true feelings.
"Neji you have no idea how much you mean to me. I have liked you, no, loved you forever. I just was to much of a coward to speak up, fearing you didn't feel the same" I felt his breath on my neck as I closed my eyes. Liking his touch and feel.
"Daiki, I love you and you mean the world to me. You saying those words are just how Destiny predicted it would feel towards me" I nodded and then pulled back a little, not out of our hug, just so my nose was millametres away from his.
"I love you to" He smiled and then, the most wonderful, fantastic feeling came into my stomache as his lips conected with mine. I closed my eyes and I placed my arms around his neck as he moved me onto his lap and kissed me more passionatly, it was so full of love.
I loved every second of it.
"We'll be forever a fate-" He started as I smiled
"And Together a Destiny" I said at the end.
Then we reconnected our lips together as we just listened to the sound of the waterfall falling into the lake and the wind blowing around us.
