That same question buzzed through my head as I woke up the next morning. What does go on in a mosh pit? I couldn't ask Lisa since she was already out of the room. I took a longer shower than usual still thinking about a mosh pit. The guys didn't tell me the night before obviously having fun with how innocent I was. No doubt they told the whole school not to tell me.
I walked out of the dorm room and slowly worked my way to the dark staircase. I kept my eyes on the ground using most of my brain power to think about the meaning of 'mosh'. My brain power was turned to other things as I heard Jeff's voice call my name.
"Good morning Tess," Jeff greeted me with a smile.
"What's a mosh pit?" I asked thinking he'd drop the act and actually tell me now.
"You'll just have to wait and experiece it yourself," Jeff said putting an arm around my shoulders and walking to the cafeteria with me.
"Experience?" I repeated the word thinking of too many meanings for it.
I sat down in my usual spot seeing Matt and Shannon in front of me with pale faces.
"What did you guys do all night?" I asked.
I giggled seeing Shannon fall over on Matt's shoulder almost asleep.
"Shannon and I had a competition on who could get into a relationship first," Matt answered nodding off.
"Who won?" I asked holding back a smile.
"We're both still trying to get a girl," Matt answered picking his phone up and reading a text.
Shannon started snoring as Matt allowed him to continue sleeping on his shoulder.
"How many girls have you asked man?" Jeff asked laughing.
Matt started counting on his fingers.
"Out of the seventeen almost eightteen girls including Tess, I'm around ten or so," Matt answered rubbing his face.
"Wait, eightteen girls? Their's only seventeen including Tess," Jeff thought outloud.
"Shelly is coming back," Shannon said getting up from his living pillow.
"Shelly?" I asked not recognizing the name.
"Dude, with Shelly back, the Pros are gunna dominate this school," Jeff exclaimed with a smile.
"Who"s Shelly?" I asked tugging on Jeff’s black muscle shirt.
"Shelly is like the dark haired version of Beth. She dominates in the ring and she doesn't take crap from anyone!" Matt exclaimed.
"She beat up a guy in the ring once. Morrison made Shelly go up against Randy Orton when Volta was out sick and Shelly nearly tore Randy to pieces," Shannon explained.
"Wasn"t she also the one that sent Barbara home because of her severe injuries?" Jeff asked.
Matt and Shannon nodded.
"See, Shelly and Barbara had a more serious rivalry than you did with her. Once Shelly got in the ring with Barbara it was all over for the blonde. Barbara was removed from the ring on a stretcher! The only reason why Shelly was suspended for so long was because she attacked Barbara when The Show was recording," Matt explained.
"She sounds merciless," I said.
"Maybe they'll bring back the Women's Tag Team titles now," Jeff thought outloud.
"Their was a Women's Tag Team title?" I asked surprised.
"Yeah! But then Beth's partner Shelly was suspended for three weeks Volta decided to take the title out of the picture when Shelly left," Shannon explained nodding off.
"Oh score! I got a date with Trish!" Matt exclaimed getting in Shannon's face.
Breakfast ended soon after. I walked nex to Jeff with Shannon and Matt at the sides. We walked in silence as Matt's grin grew when he met up with Trish at the sttoium entrance.
"Hey Matt," Trish greeted him with a side smile.
Matt broke off from the formation walking off with Trish. I was happy for him as Jeff intertwined his fingers with mine. Shannon looked a little gloomy as we took our usual seats in the stands.
"Think they'll last?" I asked Jeff nodding over at Matt and Trish.
"Matt never lasts with anyone," Shannon answered.
"Matt is a bit of a flyboy. He's constantly going from girl to girl after break-ups," Jeff explained.
"Do you think he's recovered from Ashley yet?" Shannon asked.
"He dated Ashley?" I asked in disgust.
"Yeah, then she came crying to me after he broke up with her," Jeff said sighing.
"Matt and Ashley were real close. Some people were convinced they'd last forever," Shannon said.
"Then Matt’' eyes started to wander and become glued to Krystal's body," Jeff added running through his hair.
"Ashley got pissy and Matt ended it when Ashley's fit cooled off," Shannon finished.
"How long did they last?" I asked.
"About two months," Shannon answered.
"Which is a lifetime in our world," Jeff added meaning the high school life.
I sighed thinking. I wondered how long Jeff and I would last before he grew tired of me. I ususaly kept the relationship interesting with the random pokeing and sudjestive conversations. My spirits dimmed as I tried picturing Jeff ending the love we had for each other.
Someone's cold hands suddenly wrapped around my waist and pulled me closer. I smiled as I was nearly buried alive in Jeff's muscular chest. I inhaled deeply enjoying Jeff's personal fragrence. I squirmed a moment laster when Jeff's fingers lightly dug into my sensitive skin.
"I love you Tess," Jeff whispered in my ear.
I melted inside as a girly smile crossed my face. I snuggled closer enjoying the time Jeff and I had together.
"I love you more Jeff," I replied looking up at his face.
"I think that's debatable," Jeff said smiling.
"My vote is on Jeff, you should have heard the way he talked about you," Shannon exclaimed with a smile.
"You talked to them about me?" I asked curiously.
I never talked to Lisa about Jeff simply because I feared she'd spill the news. I thought it was only a girl think to talk about their crush but now, guys do it too.
"I talked about you a lot. It drove Matt crazy. Shannon was more lenient," Jeff explained.
"Matt was just jealous he didn't find any girls here 'outrageously gorgeous', that's all," Shannon said quoting Jeff.
"Outrageously gorgeous huh?" I asked looking over at Jeff.
"You'll always be my perfect ten," Jeff spoke slowly like it was hard for him to say.
I melted inside as I laid my head on his shoulder and rubbed his chest.
"The scariest thing is that on a scale from one to ten, you're off the charts," I spoke hearing Jeff's heartbeat quicken.

"So when's our concert this Sunday?" I asked picking my head back up.
"Around nine at night," Shannon answered calmly.
"Are we even allowed to be out that late?" I asked surprised.
"Tess, most of the school will be there watching us, of course its okay," Matt answered with a smile taking a seat.
"I'm still a newbie here, remember?" I asked popping my eyebrows up.
"Good thing Dudly likes us at his bar," Jeff said to Matt.
"We're performing at a bar?" I asked with a little confusion.
I saw all the guys shake their heads with a smile on their faces.
"Am I the bombiest of all bombs or what?" I asked hinting at my stupidity.
"It keeps the relationship interesting," Jeff said wrpping his arms around my shoulders.
