~The Unsaid Wish~ Chapter one

Dark green eyes shone as a younger girl of sixteen ran down a street in Tokyo, Japan. It was the late '90s and she felt great, shoulder lenght black hair billowing, and a Chicago T-shirt flapping against her body. She had just got off a plain from the town in America. It felt good to be back in Japan, she had left last summer and dearly missed her best friend, Kagome Higorshi.Kagome's housewas where she was headed that sunny morning.
The girl's name was, Kyoto Momoshi. She was a very bright girl, and very funny. She enjoyed laughing with her friendsand was an excelent Gymnist. She had a bright outlook on life, but could change her mood of a single person within a blink of an eye. It was wise to stay on her good side.
Kyoto's mother, Shizune, is a docter with experence of fifteen years. she had the same green eyes as Kyoto, a rather tall woman with waist lenght black hair. Shizune was a Word Warrior. A very funny woman indeed, and cared deeply for her daughter. They had spoken everyday on the phone since last summer. The school year hadn't gone that well for Kyoto, not being able to speak english propperly, but being back felt great. She had past still at the top of her class. Shizune was proud of this, but was still glad to have her daughter back at home.
Kyoto had spent her first three hours in Japan with her mother, but had to give Kagome a surprise visit, finally she had reached the door, she knocked three times in a triangle. It was an old thing her and Kagome had concocted in their early child years.
A woman with short black hair and deep brown eyes answered the door, "Kyoto!" Kyotosmiled, "Nice to see you again Ms. Higorshi!" Kagome'smother hugged the girl, "Kyoto, Kagome's in the shower, you're more then welcome to stay in her room and wait though." Kyoto smirked, "Alright! Iget to do some snooping!" Ms. Higroshi laughed and watched the girl run up the stairs after placing her shoeson theporch.
Kyoto entered the room and smiled, things in the roomhad changed,but time for some snooping. She searched drawers, shelves, under the bed, in the closet. When she was satisfied she sat on the bed to wait. Kyoto tapped herclothed legs. She had long legs like her mother, and wore pants most of the time. An exception was theschool uniform. She turned to the bed stand and raised a brow, "What do we have here?" She smirked and picked up a small jar, a corksealed it. Ithad a string around it. Maybe a necklace? It held a couple smallshards of something pink. She would ask Kagome about it later, Kyoto sat it down, and decided to hide in the closet. Kagome always dressed in the bathroom so she wouldn't be doing anythingweird.
The door opened and she spung out, "AHH!" Kyoto was on her knees, and looked up at theperson, "Sota...?" He smiled, "Hey Kyoto, Kagome's coming, she just asked me to grab her shirt of the chair," He raised a brow, "Why are you in the closet?" Kyoto smiled, "Ima scare her, does she know I'm here?" Sota shook his head, "Nope, do you wan-" "No I do not want you to tell her!" She laughed, "Get the shirt and go." He smiled and grabbed the blue T-shirt, then left, carefully shutting thedoor. Kyoto inched back into the closet and solftly shut the door.
Kagome entered the room humming a tune. She sat at a desk and picked up a pen, when she was totally exorbed in whatever the heck she was doing, Kyoto sprung out, Kagome fell out of her chair with a scream, and Sota and Ms. Higroshi chuckled in the livingroom. Kyoto walked over, and showed the peace sign, "Howdy Partner!" Kagome made a happy screech and jumped up hugging Kyoto, Kyoto hugged her back, and the two long legged girls jumped up and down talking in blubbered voices saying stuff like, "Welcome back! I missed you! Missed you too!I'm glad you're back! Me too!" Finally they stopped and sat on the bed talking loudly. After about ten minutes Kyoto looked at Kagome, "So how was school, are you and Hojo still going out?" Kagome frowned, "No, but we're still friends." Kyoto made a "Ahh!" Noise then said, "What happened?" Kagome fiddled with her fingers and looked down, "Well, there's this other guy...and." Kyoto smiled, "I'm not upset that you guys aren't together I mean really! So tell me, who's this other guy, and when do I get to meet him?" Kagome looked up, "I guess I have to tell you about this too then..." Kyoto raised a brow, "About what. Oh, Hey! Does it have to do with those shards?" Kagome nodded, "Yeah. It does."
