Chapter 2 : Sickly [Vampire] Sweet [Pete Wentz] 13
"Hey Becca, hey Becca, hey Becca, hey-" "Gabe, seriously," I groaned covering my face, "please. Just shut up." "Whats wrong?" he asked poking my stomach, "You seemed fine when we were playing tag. Hell, you even knocked me into the wall. Whats wrong?" "I'm hungry." "Is that all?" he laughed, "I forgot how hungry you humans can get." "Yeah, well, I'm hungry. Either you feed me or I bite your arm." "Psh, like you- OW! What is it with you?! You acutally cause me physical pain!" "So I've heard from other people," I mumbled, "Can we please get something to eat?" "Fine," he sighed, "Come on, hurry up. IHop closes in an hour." Gabe sent me a disgusted look. "Did your parents ever teach you any manners? God, it was like watching- watching- I don't know but that was gross!" I gave out a burp and grinned. "Yeah well, that was the best food I've had in a week. Travis makes me eat frozen pizza." I said making a face. Gabe rolled his eyes and raised his hand, "Check please." He nodded and let me walk by. It was late at night and no one was walking the streets, making it seem scarier then it should. Being alone and the dark scared me, blame my parents. It was their fault. "Your heart is beating like crazy," Gabe frowned, "Whats wrong now?" "Honestly? I'm scared of the dark." I waited for a sassy remark. Silence. I looked up at him and raised my eyebrows. "You're a very weird girl," he said watching me. "I mean, you punch me, shoot sarcastic remarks at me, knock me into a wall. I'm vampire that could easily snap you in half, you know I can but you're not afraid of me. And now you're telling me that you're scared of nothing but the dark?" "I don't even know anymore," he shook his head, "lets just get you home." "It's not my fault I'm this way," I said as we turned the corner, "Bad childhood-" He cut me off by pressing me against the wall. "Gabe, whats wrong?" Did he just tell me to take deep breaths? HOLY CRAP, I’M GOING TO DIE! "Becca!" he hissed, "No, just calm down!" "Don't you tell me to calm down!" I whispered, "Whats going on?! Tell me!" "Shh! Come on- wait no, never mind!"
"Oh this is defiantly the shit," I said eating the last scrap of the waffle I had ordered.
"Um, thanks," I said letting him hold open the door.
"Whats your point?"
"Shh," he hissed keeping his mouth right above my ear, "Becca, don't you move. Take small, deep, calm, breaths."
