Chapter 4

Fuji starred at his desk as the girls crowed around him

His mind wandered back to the night before when he met Sayuri. ‘Such a pretty girl… and so shy. What a change." Fuji looked around at the gaggle of giggling girls that surrounded him

Just then the door opened and their sensei stepped in followed by none other that Sayuri

"Class please settle down" The instructor said and the girls reluctantly made their way back to their seats

"Today we have a new student. She just recently transferred from Yamabuki please introduce yourself to the class."

Sayuri nodded to him shyly and turned to the class but instead of looking down at her hands or the floor likeFuji thought she would she looked them all in the eye with a sweet smile that made the boys sigh and the girls squeal "Kawaii" (Translation: Cute!)

"Konnichiwa, watashi no namae wa Tezuka Sayuri desu," (Translation: Hello, my name is Tezuka Sayuri) she said sweetly

Whispers floated around as they hear her name but the class greeted her back enthusiastically "Konnichiwa Tezuka-san"

"Miss Tezuka, are you in anyway related to Tezuka Kunimitsu?" A girl near the back asked with her hand raised

"Hai," Sayuri nodded the smile still on her face "He’s my cousin."

That raised another series of whispers until the door opened and Shoichi entered the class hurriedly

"I apologize for being late sensei!" he panted

"Ano, who are you?" The instructor asked

"Tezuka Shoichi!" the boy saluted childishly "And this is my Twin Tezuka Sayuri!"

There was sweat drops around the room and Sayuri corrected him

"I’ve already introduced myself onii-chan." She began to straiten out his uniform and clean him off as he continued to introduce himself.

"Ano, my sister and I are both most pleased to meet you all." He smiled and the girls fainted

"Gomen-nasai, Aniki (translation: another way to say big brother) can get a little carried away." Sayuri bowed in apology to the instructor and to then to the class, or whatever part of it remained conscious.

Fuji attempted to keep the pleased look off his face as Sayuri and Shoichi were seated in front of him. The girls slowly regained consciousness and the history lesson continued.

~After Class~
"Ah, Sayuri-san, Shoichi-san, its nice to see you again." Fuji greeted as class ended

"Fuji-san," Shoichi laughed as he patted his back "I’m glad we’re not all alone in this class."

"Would you like me to show you to your next class?" Fuji asked, mainly to Sayuri but Shoichi jumped at the chance

"Sure!"

Shoichi was suddenly surrounded by girls "Are you sure you don’t want us to show you around Shoichi-sama?" they asked him batting their lashes

"Huh? Oh I would really like that, but I wouldn’t like to be rude to Fuji-san." Shoichi said humbly but he was really enjoying the attention

"Ano, that’s alright Shoichi-san." Fuji said, he noticed that Shoichi wanted to walk around with the girls "I can walk with Sayuri-Chan if that’s alright."

Some girls tensed as they heard the endearing suffix that their precious Fuji had given the new girl but let it go as Shoichi grinned and gave his sister a brotherly, protective hug.

"Take good care of her Fuji-san." Was all Shoichi said on the matter and turned to the ladies

Sayuri who had been silent during this exchange turned to Fuji with a sweet smile "Should we go?" she asked rather shyly

"Yes, come." Fuji said holding out an arm for her to take. When she did take his arm he gently pulled her out of the classroom and to the next class which he unfortunately didn’t share with her.

He left her in her cousin’s capable hands and made his way to his Math class which went by rather slow and boring because Shoichi wasn’t there to make a ruckus

His day went by in the same manner except when it turned out that he had English with Shoichi and Oishi and Science with both Tezuka Sayuri and Inui. So when the bell rang for the end of school he was rather relived Tennis practice would be interesting, he knew, because Sayuri would be there since she would go home with Tezuka when it ended
