You take a deep breath as you approach his door.
He was scary, you had to admit it. He had that huge scythe, he was immortal… you couldn’t help it that you liked him. You knew you shouldn’t, but you couldn’t help but be attracted to him.
You open the door slowly.
‘No one ever knocks around here, so why should I?’ You mentally excuse your invasion of his privacy.
“H-Hidan, Leader-sama sent me to-” You cut off with a scream.
Hidan jerks his head towards you irritably. The various weapons sticking out of his body sway as he turns. Blood, in a small puddle around his feet, splashes as a few kunai slide out of his body and land in it.
“What the f$#@ do you want, Sen?” He demands, obviously irritated by your interruption.
You stare, horrified over his body. You breath becomes heavy.
‘Calm down, Sen, don’t freak out. Most importantly, don’t faint!’ You tell yourself.
“What the f$@# is wrong with you?” Hidan demands, his voice slightly softer.
“I… don’t like… pain…” You mumble, looking to the side.
Hidan grins at you.
“That’s f%$#ing right, you’re the one that doesn’t like f%$#ing pain.” He says. He calmly pulls all the weapons out of his body, dropping them around him. You sigh in relief.
Hidan’s grin turns evil.
He picks up a long knife and holds it delicately to his side. Your eyes widen in horror. Hidan looks up, meeting your eyes for a split second, before shoving the blade into his side, down to the hilt.
You scream.
He laughs.
Forgetting why you had been sent, you tear from the room, Hidan’s laughter following you through the corridors.
You stop when you reach your room. You push the door open, scramble into the room, and slam it shut behind you.
You sink onto the bed, trying to scour the image from your mind.
You get control of your emotions a few minutes later. Just as you feel that you can face him again, your door flies open. Hidan shuffles in, looking slightly embarrassed.
Your eyes widen, and you almost hyperventilate at the fact that you and Hidan are in your room. Alone.
He shuts the door, still not looking at you. Your own eyes slide over his body, and you wince as you see the blade is still in him.
Hidan sighs, looking you in the eye.
“Look, Sen.” He begins. You raise a shaky hand and point at the blade, still deep inside of him. He looks down and sees what holds your attention. He grunts, and reaches down. Before you can say anything, he pulls the blade out in one swift motion. You hold in scream as he grabs wraps his cloak tightly around himself, shielding the wound from view.
“Look, Sen.” He tries again. “I’m sorry. I wasn’t f%$#ing thinking straight.”
He sits next to you. You shrug.
“It’s ok…” You mumble, obviously lying. Hidan shakes his head.
“No, it’s f$#%ing not.” He lifts your chin with two fingers. You meet his eyes.
“I just don’t like pain…” You mutter. “I mostly don’t like being in pain, but I don’t like seeing people close to me in it either. Like Leader-sama, or Konan, or…” You drift off, your eyes sliding away.
“…or me.” Hidan finishes. You blush, looking at the floor. He drops his fingers.
After a few minutes of silence, Hidan turns to you again.
“Look, Sen, how about whenever you come to my f$#%ing room, knock and I’ll clean up the f%$#ing mess, ok?” He suggests.
You look up, startled.
“You’d do that for me?” You whisper.
He nods.
You smile, happiness bubbling up inside you.
“Why would I be going to your room anyway?” You ask, playfully shy.
Hidan grins.
He leans in quickly, grabbing your head and kissing you.
You kiss back happily. You love the emotion rushing through you, the complete opposite of pain. You wrap your arms around his neck, pulling his as close as possible.
He slinks his around your waist, holding you tight.
Suddenly you pull back, very conscious of the fact that the two of you were on a bed.
Hidan looks at you, grinning.
“Does that answer your f$#%ing question?” he asks. You giggle at the corniness of it.
He grins at you, and then catches your mouth in another breathtaking kiss. You kiss back for a few minutes, before you pull away again. He whines lightly. You laugh this time, a blush dusting you face.
“Hidan... no.” You say, still blushing. He looks at you puzzled.
“No what?” He asks. You grin.
“No that doesn’t answer my question.” You say playfully. “Try again?”
Hidan laughs, pulling you into his lap, arms still wrapped securely around your fragile frame. You tighten your arms around his neck. You look up into his eyes. He drops his lips back to yours. You suddenly don’t care that you are both on a bed together. In fact, you are actually quite glad you are both on a bed…
