Fall Out Boy || We've Been Planning Something Big
Chapter 2 : Fall Out Boy || We've Been Planning Something Big || 02
Ever wonder what the back story to the "A Little Less Sixteen Candles..." music video was? This is the story that wasn't told, the story behind the one you saw. Welcome to a world where vampires roam the street, and it's either hunt or be hunted. Better watch your back, because dodging a dagger -- or a pair of fangs -- is a lot harder than it looks...

Patrick gave a slight chuckle at Angela's response. "You know you're going to do it again. Don't fool yourself, that's why you're with us."
Angela let out an exasperated sigh. She knew it was true. She would be the damsel is distress over and over and over again until it killed her. Joe, the tallest of the group, leaned in forward from the back seat, trying to see over the cliff. "Where do you think Pete went off to?"
"It doesn't matter," Patrick responded. "He'll be back like he always is." Pat hit the back of Andy's seat, getting his attention. "Drive on, my good man. Our work here is done."
Andy listened to Patrick. He was still a little shaken up from the experience. He looked over to Angela who was still catching her breath. Nothing gave you more of an adrenaline rush than facing deathhead-on. He listened to the mindless chatter that was going on in the back seat as he drove through the darkened streets. Joe was complaining how Pat sent him out with faulty equipment and how hewas an important installment to the team. Andy gave a chuckle, knowing that Joe was just a lazy bum that would rather be sitting on the couch playing video games.
He pulled the Chevy to a halt in front of an abandoned warehouse on the other side of town. Or...that's what people thought.
In all actuality, that abandoned warehouse was the headquarters of the group's operations. It was huge, with no windows, fortified doors,and a basement. The first floor was the "living quarters" of the warehouse, with bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen all centered around a living room with a small television, a couch, and a game console (for Joe). They were small, but each team member had their own room.
A rickety staircase at the end of a hallway between the kitchen and Andy's room lead to the basement, which was where the true headquarters of the Hunters was. Two-thirds of the space was taken up by a large gymnasium practice room. Nearly all of the remaining space was Patrick's workshop, and one spacious storage closet had been transformed into Angela's office. It was these three rooms that represented the Hunters and their work.
In his workshop, Patrick kept a log of every happening, inside the warehouse and out. He repaired and invented new weapons and gizmos to use (he was affectionately known as the team's "Gadget Guy"), and agonized over how the number of vampires just kept growing and growing without explanation. From her office, Ange kept tabs on her network of spies, who worked undercover gathering information on the vampires. And in the gym, Joe, Andy and Pete, the physical fighters on the team, practiced their respective fighting style. Joe was a combination firearm/hand-to-hand combatant, while Andy used mixed martial arts in conjunction with his sword. Pete was a vampire, so he used his gifts along with brute force to fight.
Together, they made a good team.
