"Today's the day..." She woke up with a start... very excited to find out about everything she really is... yet, a little lonely for she was reminded that she may not come back in the human world anymore... not to be able to see her parents, her friends, especially Yuri, her one and only best friend...
"Are you ready, Yukari?" Mom asked. "Yes, mom... I'll be downstairs by 5 minutes." She was still thinking of what Yuri had said last night...
When she got down stairs, her parents told her to prepare her bicycle for she'll be needing it for the trip.... she then took her bicycle but is still full of doubts thinking how can her parents say that she cannot return to the human world anymore when it's only a biking distance.....
She kissed her mother good bye. Her father was the only one to escort her. They reached their destination... it was a small wooden bridge, and under it is only a small stream which is only 2 feet deep...
"Is this it?" she asked... "Just wait..." then the stream formed a small whirlpool. As it gets bigger and bigger, Yukari is almost having second thoughts if she still want to go. And again she remembered Yuri...
"Oh no!... I want to see Yuri... atleast I could say good bye to him..." she thought.
"Can I please visit Yuri for one last time...please? I just need to tell him good bye" she begged her father to let her, unfortunately he didn't allow her... "There's not much time Yukari, the portal's about to close .. I'm very sorry, but there's no need to worry you'll see him again..."
She didn't even understand what her father meant. Before she could even ask, she was sucked into the whirlpool...
After her very short and unusual way of travelling, she found herself lying in a small stream, but is quite different from the stream where she came from... "What do you know? my bicycle travelled with me too, and this stream is very refreshing, and the atmosphere... so calm.....I better get up before my things get wet." She just laughed about her current situation and stood up. She carried her bag, rode her bike and tried to look if there are any people around...
She saw a market place. People just stared at her, she stared at them too. "Their clothing, so odd..." She suddenly felt hungry. "I forgot to eat breakfast, and now my stomach's all grumbly."
She saw some apples and took one and bite it. The vendor shouted at her in a very wierd language. (translation) "Hey! you theif! stop stealing my apples!!!"
"This man... he's speaking a different language, but it feels like I understand him... what am I loony?! ofcourse I cant! I don't know any other language but Japanese... it sounds very familiar though... Oh yeah! Mom and Dad speak this! and I may have remembered some of them."
She can't believe how she did it but... she just did! she spoke their tongue, " I'm not stealing! here I'll pay for it!" She handed him her money. "This is not money! this is paper!"
A tall and handsome guy riding a horse with brown hair and brown enticing eyes appeared infront of them..." What's going on here?" he asked politely. The vendor told him all of his demands and left her staring the mysterious guy, "Wow! what a bishounen! he's sooo dreamy...what?! snap out of it! gotta escape" she slapped herself. She quitely took her bike and make a run for it...
"She's escaping! capture that thief!"..."There's no need to worry I'll pay for all the trouble..." he handed him money. "Men! help me find the girl" he ordered his men...
She was driving her bike as fast as she can..."What did I do to deserve this? I'm only looking for my real parents!!! uuwwwaaa!!!...." She shouted as she saw those men in horses catching up to her...
"Please! stop! we won't hurt you!" The tall handsome guy said while trying to run after her... but it's no use. She was so scared that she ignored what he said. she saw a carriage speeding up infront of her. She tried to pull the breaks but she was too fast that it didn't work.
CRASH!!!!! The carriage horse went out of control and send her flying...She hit her head on the ground so hard that she lost consciousness... The last thing she saw was the handsome person approaching. And the last words she heard was from him too...he called his men and whispered to her..."You'll be fine.... don't worry..."
