About an hour after Frank fell asleep I called the guys to tell them the bad new about Franks mom. I thought it would be best to just get it all out of the way while Frank was sleeping instead of him having to talk about it to everyone. The guys were pretty shaken up about it. Especially Gerard. After I had talked to all of them, I fell asleep finally.

My eyes slowly opened to the sound of ringing. I looked out the window. It was still dark. The ringing was still going. I reached over Frankie and onto his bedside table to grab my cell phone. I looked at the caller ID.

Gerard..What would he want? I just got done talking to him not to long ago...

"Hello?" I answered groggily. I heard a steady breathing on the other line.

"Erin, get yours and Franks stuff togeter. We're leaving." I heard Gerard say. I could hear the sound of zippers and Mikey in the background, shouting about where his glasses where.

"What? Where are we going? What you talking about?" I asked confused. I sat up in the bed, putting my feet on the hardwood floor. I heard Bob now, talking about taking his Mini-Van for the trip.

"We need to get out of this town, Erin. We all need something new. A fresh start... Especially Frankie." Gerard sighed on the other side of the phone. I thought about what he said for a second, getting up and walking around the room. I went to Frankies side, sitting on the side of the bed and looking at his sleeping figure. He hugged the pillow to his chest tightly, tear stains still visible on his cheeks. I smiled softly and caressed his face. His eyes opened.

"Uhhh." Frankie yawned, looking up at me. I then remembered I was still on the phone with Gerard.

"But what am I going to tell my dad?" I asked.

"Just tell him your going to be gone for a while... And you don't know if your coming back." Gerard said the last part softly. My eyes went wide. I couldn't leave my father. "Maybe he'd even meet us out there." Gerard added, taking note to the quietness from my side of the phone. Frankie looked at me with a confused expression. He scratched his neck.

"Who are you talking to?" Frankie asked quietly. I mouthed 'Gerard' to him, and he nodded, scooting over closer to me on the bed. I smiled to him.

"Maybe." I spoke softly into the phone. "Where are we supposed to be going to anyway?"

"Pacific Beach, California. It's in the San Diego area." Gerard said as if he had just made everything better... And he kind of did. I looked over at Frankie, who was looking down at his feet with a faint grin, remembering how he said that he really wanted to go to California and start over... And I kind of really wanted to also.

"You know what... I think thats a great idea." I told Gerard, while still looking at Frankie. He looked up at me now a bit confused. "We'll get our stuff ready. Call me when you get here."

"Ok then, cool. Bye Erin!" Gerard said before hanging up. I tossed my cell phone back onto the bedside table, and stood up, changing out of my boxers and t-shirt into a pair of my cut up jeans, a Black Flag t-shirt that belonged to Frank, and a pair of converse. Frankie covered his eyes, giving me some privacy as I did this. I smiled. He was so nice.

"Why are you getting dressed? What's going on?" Frankie asked, peeking through his fingers to make sure I was decent before uncovering his eyes all the way. When he saw I was completly dressed, he got up as well, throwing on a pair of tight jeans, an army green Green Day t shirt, and a pair of DC shoes.

"We're going to California. I don't know when were coming back... Or if we are..." I said quietly, grabbing my knapsack that I kept all of my stuff in with me, tossing my cell phone and other small things that I left lying around Franks room that I would need. Having a purse was too much work. He looked at me as if I was crazy.

"Really? Why?"

"Cause, Frank, we all need a fresh new start... especiall you. I mean, you've been through a lot lately, and didn't you want to go to Cali?" I asked, putting a hand on his shoulder. He nodded with a faint smile. I could tell the fact that his mom just died was still haunting the back of his mind.

"Yeah... You're right..."

"So get everything you need, and leave everything that you wont. Cause like I said, we might not come back." I told him. He nodded, and went straight for under his bed, pulling out a shoe box that had a bunch of pictures and notes in it. I looked over at it.

"Whats that?" I asked pointing at it. Frankie pulled out another medium sized box from his closet, packing it with all his CD's, signed band posters, DVD's, laptop, and a few other small things. "That's all the notes and pictures that we took. I always keep them." He said while closing the box, then going for a duffel bag, filling it up with all his clothes.

"I didn't know you really kept all this..." I said, looking at one of the pictures of us from about Junior year hanging out on the roof of the school. I smiled, looking over at Frankie who was now putting his guitar who he named 'Pansy' in a mesh guitar bag and putting it on his back. He grabbed the box, opened it, and put the shoe box full of pictures and notes into it, closing it back up and lifting it. I grabbed his duffel bag for him and we made our way out of his house and into his car, loading the stuff into it and driving off to my house.

--------------------------------

"We have Rays trailer, so it's not much of a big deal. We have enough room." Mikey said, waving off the fact that we all had a hell load of stuff. I thought we were all going to put this into bobs mini-van, but thankfully we wernt.

"One question- whats with us and after midnight hours? Seriously." I asked, noting about the time when the guys showed up at the hospital to save me and Frankie, the time Frank was outside my window spelling out words in my front lawn, and a bunch of other times that it was after midnight. The guys all laughed.

"We're freakin' vampires, that why." Gerard said. I shrugged. "Good point."

"I don't see why we all don't just sell our cars and buy a damned RV" Ray huffed as he helped me pack my clothes into a duffel bag. Frank was going through my bedside table and my shelves grabbing things that I would need like CDs, DVDs, letters, photos, posters, video games and systems, and my laptop as well.

"That's actually a good idea. But none of us could drive that thing." I laughed, putting my shoes in the duffel bag and zipping it up. Gerard held it for me, and Mikey grabbed my guitar and put it in the case, along with it's amp.

"I could." Frank spoke up, closing up the box of my stuff. We all looked at him and laughed.

"We'd all die!" Ray said. Frank laughed too.

"Ok, this is everything for me..." I said, putting my hands on my hips. Bob nodded.

"Me and Gerard'll go and put the stuff in the van and park Gerards and Mikeys car in the garage along with Franks." Bob said, grabbing the box and guitar from Frank and Mikey, then making his way out of my room with Gerard. I sighed, and went down my stairs behind them, to be greeted with my dad.

"I can't believe my girl is leaving... Promise you'll keep in touch." My dad said with a frown as he hugged me. I wanted to cry, but I didn't.

"I promise I will dad. You think you'll come out there if we stay?"

"Maybe. That's not such a bad idea." He said a little happier this time. I smiled, and Frank, Mikey, and Ray gave him a hug. Gerard and Bob did also when they returned into the house.

"Promise you guys'll take care of Erin for me." My father asked the guys. They all nodded and agreed. "Of course, Sir, we love her. We'll protect her from anything." Bob said.

"And you, Frank, you make my girl happy, you hear? I better not hear anything about you doing her any wrong or hurting her..." My dad continued. I blushed. Frankie shook his head.

"Sir, no need to worry. I love her. I don't know what Id do without Erin. I promise I'll keep her as happy as I can." He said. I smiled, and held his hand. The guys all "awwed" at us.

"Shut up." Me and Frank said in unison. My dad laughed.

"Well, your trailers loaded, your cars are all parked in my garage for safe keeping.... I'm sure its time for you guys to hit the road." My father said, shooing us off toward the door. I laughed.

"Bye dad." I said giving him a hug once more and a kiss on the cheek. He smiled, and pushed me out the front door along with the guys. "Have a safe trip!" he shouted to us as we all piled into Bob's mini-van, taking off for Cali.

--------------------------------------------

"dude, what are we gonna do for school? It's freaking 14 days before Christmas and were leaving without even finishing Senior year." Mikey asked as we were halfway out of the state. Gerard shrugged.

"I guess we can just go to a highschool out there, right?" he said. We all agreed.

"And we can all get jobs at Wal-Mart!" Ray added in excitedly. We all shouted excitedly.

"Yeah! That'd be awesome! All six of us working there. Ah, can you imagine that?" Frankie sighed, looking out the window. He had one of his arms wrapped around me, and I was leaning on his shoulder.

"That would be pretty cool." Mikey said from the front of us. Me and Frank were in the third row, Mikey and Bob were in the second row, and Gerard and Ray were up front.

"I love you." Frankie whispered in my ear as my eyes were closed. I opened them and looked up at his smiling face. "I love you too."
