"Long time no see, Cayman." You say with a grin.
"L-Lise!" The man, Cayman, says excitedly, his eyes lighting up, "How've you been? Where've you been? Found that swordsman you were looking for yet? How's Kurogane? Where is that boy? Have you been back to visit your mother yet? Do you know how she is? What about Silas? Any news on Eiichi?"
"Calm down Cayman." You sigh, sweatdropping at the shopkeepers over enthusiasm, "And in answer to your questions, I'm fine, I've been around, yes I found Zolo, Kurogane's fine, he's buying a new ship, no I'm heading back to see Mother now and she's pretty bad, I think Silas is okay, and no news on Eiichi."
"I see..." Cayman muses, taking in the information that you have given him, "So she's ill enough to make you go home?"
"I received a letter from Silas this morning. He asked me to come home." You reply, "He's only seventeen, I can't leave him in a time like this."
"Even if you don't really want to go back, right?" Cayman asks.
"Right." You sigh, "It's not that I don't want to go back, it's just that... well..."
"Now you've found that swordsman you want to stick around for a bit, don't you? You've made some friends perhaps."
"Maybe." You mutter, "But there's nothing else to be done. Since Luffy sunk the Piece of Heaven Kurogane's gotta find us something suitable to go home in."
"Luffy? By that you mean Monkey D. Luffy?" Cayman questions, "The thirty million beli pirate?"
"Someone read the paper today." You tease, "But then that also means..."
"Firearm Pyro is standing in my shop. You kept your face hidden for so long, but now your secret's out, not that we didn't all figure it out anyway."
"Well then, there's no problem." You say, "Have you been home lately, Cayman?"
"Are you kidding?" Cayman asks, with surprise, "I risked my neck to leave the Grandline, I don't think I could make it back. I make more money here anyway."
"Even in this crappy little shop?" You ask with intrigue.
"Hey, now I'm gonna charge you for those." He says, indicating towards the pouch of bullets.
"Gimme a keg of grog whilst you're at it." You say, taking a purse from jacket pocket, bulging with money.
"Alright." Cayman agrees, going out back and returning with a large keg that he puts down beside you, "I won't really charge you, not this time."
"Why not?" You ask suspiciously.
"No reason." Cayman sighs, although you really know that it's because of your mother, she and Cayman were friends, they grew up together.
"Cheers then." You say, lifting the keg onto your left shoulder and balancing it there, "I'll see you around then."
"Good luck Lise." Cayman calls to you.
"Oh, and Cayman?" You say, pausing in the doorway, "You've lost your accent."
"So have you, Lise." Cayman tells you with a small smile as you leave, "So have you."
...
You head back into the street with your Grog and almost immediately walk into a certain green-haired swordsman.
"Zolo?" You question, "You alright?"
"Fine." He replies, looking at your keg with a grin, "Nice buy."
"Speak for yourself." You reply, looking at his two new swords, "You chose a cursed sword?"
"Cih, I don't believe in curses!" Zolo tells you as you start to head back to the Merry Go together.
"So how long have you been a pirate for?" Zolo asks you, trying to make conversation.
"Three years." You reply, "But I don't remember what happened before that. All I know is that I knew you." You tell him, "Recently I think I learnt that I fell from a cliff because of the Marines, you tried to save me. Is that right?"
"Yes." Zolo tells you solemnly, "That was the last time I saw you before I saw you on the Baratie. I thought you were dead."
"Zolo, I want to remember my past, please tell me about it." You beg, however before Zolo can reply you find yourselves standing opposite Nami, Kurogane, Ussop and Sanji.
"Where is he?" Zolo asks.
"He said that he was going to see the execution place." Nami replies.
"Execution place, isn't that right here?" Sanji questions. You all look at each other and then at the crowds surrounding the execution stake and then up at the stake itself where Luffy is stuck, Buggy the Clown beside him.
"WHAT IS HE DOING ON THAT EXECUTION STAKE!?!" Zolo yells angrily.
"Because this Pirate, Monkey D Luffy, has upset me, he must be executed!!" Buggy yells down from the stake, "Go and create chaos! Whoever dares to move must die!"
"This is the first time that I've ever seen a real execution!" You hear Luffy tell Buggy excitedly.
"You are the one who is going to be executed!!" Buggy snaps at him.
"What? Don't say something stupid!" Luffy snaps back.
"You are stupid, not me!!" Buggy yells at the rubber man before turning back to the crowd, "And now I would like to begin the execution in front of you all!"
...
You look between each other and you throw Kurogane your keg. Sanji drops his end of the Elephant tuna, leaving it in Ussop's hands and Zolo prepares to fight.
"Ussop come on!" Nami orders the sharpshooter who reluctantly follows.
"Kurogane, go with them." You tell him, "You know what to do." Kurogane nods and follows the other two.
"Whoever dares to go against us will end up like this." You hear a familiar voice say and see Cabaji stood next to a woman that you don't recognise but her voice you can't forget.
"The guy, who I have estimated with a high value, will end his life here?" She questions.
You edge your way away from Zolo and the others and make your way towards Cabaji. You don't see Zolo watching your every move. You put your hand on Cabaji's arm, gaining his attention.
"Pyro?" He asks, a grin coming to his face, "My dear, I wondered when I'd see you again."
"Well you know Cabaji, I was wondering how you were doing, but I am pleased to see that you are okay and have found Buggy." You say flirtatiously, rubbing your hand across his arm.
"I have been thinking about you too, my dear, and I have Buggy's payment for you." He tells you, handing you a medium sized pouch filled with beli.
"Thanks Cabaji!" You say, seductively kissing him on the cheek and taking the money.
