Fuck Me Like You Hate Me - DM Love Pt. 1
Chapter 4 : Fuck Me Like You Hate Me - DM Love Pt. 3
You took a deep breath and darted forward, leaning to the side to dodge a massive werewolf: it's shining razor-sharp fangs missed your shoulder by inches. You jumped up into the air, lockings grips with a vampire, his snarling face right up next to yours as he fought to sink his fangs into your neck. You swung around and sent him flying; as soon as your foot touched the ground again you had leaped forward and sunk a silver dagger into his heart (contrary to popular belief, silver worked just as well as wood on vampires).
Next was a dementor, but that was too easy: your scream of "Expecto Patronum!" echoed off the walls, and a massive black jaguar erupted from the tip of your wand, charging the dementor with a bone-chilling roar. You waited, alert and vigilant, for the next threat to emerge from the darkness.
"Mara?"
Instantly your concentration broke - and so did the charm. The darkness around you disappeared, and the walls of your basement reappeared, along with the set of stairs leading up to the ground floor. Your mother was peering down from the landing.
"Yes, Mum," you replied, thoroughly annoyed.
"Oh I'm sorry, honey, I didn't mean to interrupt your training," your mother apologized, "But I was wondering if you could just pop over to the Malfoy's for a moment and ask Narcissa where she and Luciuswill be staying in Venice?"
"Can't you just send one of the house-elves?" you asked grumpily.
"Don't be unpleasant."
"Of course not, mother," you said sweetly. "Imagine what that would do to your crow's feet."
You only just managed to dodge her curse as you raced past her and out the back door, then walked around the house to the front and crossed over to the Malfoy's.
"Well, well, well," Draco smirked when he answered the door, "Look what we have here. I didn't know you did house calls, love."
"Very clever," you replied sarcastically, trying to brush past him, "I'm here for your mother."
"You know, I just don't think she swings that way."
"Would you let me through?"
Draco smirked and scooted aside, just enough to let you through. You had to brush right up against him to get by.
"Now, if you wanted to rub up against me, all you had to do was ask."
You smiled charmingly at him. "Hold your breath until I do."
His gorgeous blue eyes glinted with mischief. "Careful, kittykat. I still haven't paid you back for the pool incident two days ago."
"And I'm shaking." You rolled your eyes and marched to his kitchen, where Narcissa was enjoying a cup of tea. "Hello, Mara," she said pleasantly.
"Hello, Mrs. Malfoy. I have a message from my mother."
"Oh?"
"She wanted to know where you and Mr. Malfoy would be staying in Venice."
Mrs. Malfoy smiled. "Of course, I completely forgot to tell her. Tell Stelmaria that we're staying at the Hotel Nero, so that's where she should make reservations."
"What's going on?" you asked. "Are my parents going to Venice?"
"She didn't tell you?" Narcissa said, surprised. "Lucius and I are going to a gathering of some of the most prominent witches and wizards in Europe, and we've invited your mother and father to come with us. Since they've said yes, it's been decided that Draco will stay with you, to keep you company, until we get back. Or you're more than welcome to stay here, whichever you prefer."
Your mouth dropped open. *Stay...with...Draco?*
Draco was grinning. "It'll be fun, won't it, Mara?" he said sexily, leaning against the doorway. "We can keep each other from getting too lonely."
"Of course," you replied sweetly. "I'm sure you get very...lonely...around here, Draco. Especially at night."
All of this went straight over Narcissa's head. "Anyway, I'm surprised your mother didn't tell you. I know she can be a flake, but..."
"It's quite all right, Mrs. Malfoy," you said. "I'll see you later."
You stomped back over to your house and burst into your parlor, where your mother was writing a list of things for the house-elves to do, presumably while your parents were gone. She glanced up.
"Well? What did she say?"
"You're going out of town and you didn't even tell me?" you hissed furiously.
Your mum looked surprised. "What's gotten into you?" she asked. "You've been left on your own before."
"Exactly. So why do I suddenly need company in the house while you're away?"
"If you're referring to Draco, sweetie, I just thought it would be a good idea, since you're new to the neighborhood."
"It's not as if I can't take care of myself."
"I know that. It's just that your father and I will feel better if Draco was here. And don't try to fool us while we're gone," she added, suddenly stern. "The house-elves at both our manors will report to us if either of you spend a night alone in one of the houses. You can say anything you want to them, but our orders override yours. Understood?"
You growled.
"Good. Anyway, we're leaving tonight, so there's really not much we can do to change it now." Your mum stood and started out of the room.
"IF YOU'RE LEAVING TONIGHT, THEN WHY ARE YOU JUST TELLING ME THIS NOW???"
An hourlater, you were once again walking the streets of your neighborhood. The sun was setting, painting the sky with different hues of gold, orange, pink, and violet. The nerd herd was following you again, jeering and calling and attempting to flirt. You felt your eye twitch. This was not the time to mess with you.
*Must...not...curse...Muggles...*
You were quickly approaching yours and Draco's houses, and you groaned at the irony. Draco was standing out front, looking incredibly sexy in jeans and a tight black t-shirt (me: oooo-er *drool*).
One of the boys whizzed by on his bike, wagging his tongue suggestively at you and running a hand down his pudgy stomach. "You know the old saying, 'Once you go porky, nothing else turns your corky'?"
Your fist clenched around the wand in your pocket.
*Must...not...curse...obnoxious...Muggle...boys...*
"Hey," Draco called out to you. Thankful for a distraction, you sauntered up to him. The teenyboppers hung close by, but not too close. They were eyeing Draco warily.
"Do you want to get rid of your pimply admirers?" Draco whispered softly in your ear, making chills spread down your spine.
"You can't hex them, Draco."
"Not necessary." His hand found your side belt loop and tugged, pulling you closer to him.
"What are you doing?"
He grinned wickedly. "Just play along."
You could feel the eyes of all the boys on you: more than that, you could feel Draco's body heat warming you, despite the heat of the August sunset.
Before you could say or do anything more, Draco's hand touched the back of your neck, and his lips met yours in a kiss that was forceful but not too rough, just the way you liked it. Every nerve in your body was on fire, and your hands slipped around his neck. He pulled you closer, making the kiss deeper, and you kissed him back forcefully. One of his hands slipped around your waist, brushing just under your shirt.
Behind you, you heard the group of prepubescent dweebs let out a collective groan. Draco broke away from you and grinned wickedly at the boys, who continued to groan as they mounted their bikes and rode off, disappearing from view.
When they were gone, Draco fixed his blue eys on you again, and you suddenly realized that you were still in his arms. Draco grinned and raised an eyebrow.
"We do that well together, if I do say so myself. Shall we continue?"
You smiled and kissed him again, playfully brushing your tongue into his mouth and digging your fingernails into the back of his neck. Then you broke away.
"Hope you enjoyed that, Draco," you said breezily, "Because it's never going to happen again."
"We'll see about that, kittykat," Draco called after you as you made your way back to your house. "We'll be staying under the same roof. Just see how long you can resist me."
*Malfoy's POV*
God DAMN, that was hot.
Draco brushed his tongue over his lower lip as he watched Mara return to her own house. He could still taste her, sweet as any strawberry. His fingers wouldn't soon forget the touch of her skin, either.
The electricity that had flown between them was intoxicating. How could she walk away after that?
Because she was cool, that was why.
Draco smiled to himself. Her attitude towards him seemed to natural, like she wanted nothing more than to tease him and drive him crazy. He knew that he was teasing her, too, which made it even better: she was getting just as riled as he was. That was sexy.
Draco turned and went into his own house. The house-elves had already taken his duffel bag to the Killingsworth Manor, he knew, so now all he had to do was wait until his parents decided to leave.
He went up to his room and flopped on the bed, running a hand absently through his blonde hair. That was a habit he'd developed lately, running one hand through his hair every time he thought of Mara.
Christ, now he couldn't get that kiss out of his head. He wanted to do more than kiss her: he wanted to run his fingers through that long wavy hair, and feel the warmth and firmness of her beneath him, along with the slinky material of his silk sheets. He wanted to feel her fingernails dig into his back, her teeth bite down on his neck like they had that first night. How had she found his turn-on spot so easily?
*Because she's that good.*
Draco smiled, got up, and went downstairs to where his parents were sitting in the parlor.
"We're about to leave, Draco," his father said.
"Have a nice holiday," Draco replied. "In that case, I'm going to head on over to the Killingsworth's."
"Don't have too much fun, darling," his mother called cheerfully as he turned and headed for the front door.
Draco smirked. *Can't make any promises, Mum.*
