Story: Shaya is belived to be the daughter of a great lord because of her demon blood. She comes from a small village in the Rain Village and is a specialist with sebon needles but her demon powers are a must and used the most. When used at there fullest she turns into a wolf looking dog and cant really be stopped. She ended up in Konoha when she was traveling with her father and soon got seperated from him. She decided to stay put and went to the academy for a short time only did they discover that she was at a higher level than that of a genin. They put her in at the level of a Jounin but still put her on a team rather than give her her own. She meet Sasuke and has been placed in his place for living arangements. Naruto grows attatched to her because she tends to stick up for him and doesnt take crap from anyone and doesnt like to see others get picked on. Sai's story to this is uncertain as for Deidara and Itachi we think its because of her powers that she has and possesses but its unclear too.
