“But I Never Cheat!”
“Hey look we weren't the last ones after all.” Kankuro pointed at a group of genin and academy students. I recognized 2 of them; Sakura and Naruto. Yet the thing was I dare not make a move...Gaara was watching...I shouldn't. Temari didn't make a move towards them either...but she wasn't as cautious to the kid that ran up and bumped into her.
“How rude; how about let's teach them a lesson Temari.” Kankuro was certainly excited. “It'll be a nice warm up...” She smirked and they toke hold of their weapons as I just stood their; neutral.
What am I suppose to do now?
Guess I'll take a snooze...
Maybe a minute flashed by my eyes...but someone had shot something at me. And luckily missed.
Actually it never hit the brittle dirt.
Going with my curiosity, I found out it was that unsocial boy. Right next to him was Gaara. His shocked face was hilarious.
“Temari, Kankuro...Let's go.” Gaara sure was forgiving today. No 'I'll Kill You' and stuff like that.
We followed his orders, and I sorta slept on some of my teammates... Even though I had no clue where we were going, my legs were moving on their own accord. And for the record; I fell down only once. But then I felt a tiny poke in my side. It was oh so annoying.
Ah...after the 5th poke or so, I finally opened my eyes to a cheery Kankuro.
“We're here.” I opened my eyes to see that we were seated in the many rows of tables. At the back of the large exam room was a locked door; the front of the room was a large far reaching black board.
Each table was seated with at least one person. It was just that at my table I just happened to be the one drifting off the lala land. You know, gotta catch some Z's.
I was knocked out of my dreamless sleep, literally.
I felt a small shook on the current ground.
“Hmm...?” I looked over to my team mates, each were giving the other teams death glares. Of course with a little flirting from Temari-sama.
And then finally a older ninja came in, his face covered with scars. His course voice was deep and went with his appearance well...his voice was the kind that could make anyone feel guilty, even if they were purely innocent. In other words, other than being an exam regulator, he must be a great help in interrogations. I wonder where he got his scars...
3rd Person / No POV
As the small light hair colored girl unconsciously touched her forearm. The worried expression brought and unwanted and unneeded migrain. She regained her position with her arms and head resting on the table, the examinator had to introduce himself and everything so she thought this wouldn't be important.
After 10 minutes later, the migrain was still there. But to worsen it a familiar poke came to her side making her tiny body squirm. “Come 'on it's time to get to our assigned seats.” Kankuro said. Now that I think about it I haven't heard his voice in a while... He handed her the small piece of paper, and then immediately running off in the opposite direction to a seat way in the back. Her raspberry eyes scanned the paper. The migrain wasn't helping one bit. “478”. There was just enough space for all the genins in this single 'classroom'.
The sand-nin stared at all the seats to search for her seat...there was a long purple haired girl dressed in a showy skirt along with a too-tight tank top and a orange haired boy with dull green eyes sat there trembling both looked weak. The girl seemed to have enough confidence if not too much, but the boy was lacking; they should learn to share.
She sat herself to the seat closest to the aisle, and rested her head on the cold table once more. This migrain was killing, but the pain would soon numb. After all the genins got into their rightful seats, all was planned and the scared man began his explanations and whatnot, in a loud booming voice with authority. He kept talking with ramblings in between every now and then, but all the girl did was rest and skim through all this text she received.
“BEGIN!”
That was enough of a signal, simultaneously all the test papers turned making one subtle “whoosh” sound.
Her eyes were glued to the paper. 'Easy marks.'
The first few questions were multiple choice.
Questions like 'There are three rooms; one of them hold the scroll to successfully accomplishing your mission. Which door do you pick?'
A: Lord's Room / Heir's Room / Mistress Room
Then short answer.
'A shinobi, 15 feet away jump out from the woods at a 120 degree angle towards you. At what angle do you attack from?'
A: Since 120 – 90 = 30 therefore; 90 – 30 =60 .
You shoot at a 60 degrees angle towards the shinobi, right as he jumps.
Next problem solving along with a 'explain' part along with it.
And then the complicated connections problem. Where one needed to use algebra, geometry, and physics in a combination.
'You are in a tree standing at 900 cm, a man walks by with 2 others, each standing at a height of 178 cm, they are positioned around the tree in a triangle position. With only 2 throws of your 3 kunai how are you to successfully kill the 3 men; without leaving the tree?'
A: You first position yourself so that you are facing none of the men, then in one go...
Her pencil was now a mere stubble of what once was.
She finished in the first hour or so. Her head stopped pulsing now. Great now it stops after I'm done, I wonder how's everyone doing... She looked straight at them they were all in front of her...Each one seemed to be enjoying themselves...Gaara had a hand over one of his eyes and concentrating. Hmm...So its that technique... Temari had her usual smirk on and Kankuro looked like he seriously needed to go...
She quickly flipped her paper over on its back. Darn I'm slow... She had finally figured out that your not suppose to know the answers, but just copy off one of the seeders here and leech off of this seed.
Even so she had already finished.
Nothing left to do. Nothing left but to help out the world (or at least her team).
So with a little bit of glaring, one or two of them noticed what she was up to...In a small amount of time, she had set up a technique where she would send the answers off the them underneath their desks.
But how?
Via Ice Crystals.
She would have words etched into them as they were sent one by one to each team-mate on the last section. It was perfect....Except for the fact that they would usually break through the ground leaving marks and what-not on the floor. So instead she just ended up sending over small pieces of paper that would crumble when someone touched it 5 times. A special paper developed by the sand.
But the real question is...how come a sand-nin has water attributes?
After an hour of sending those notes using ice vapour, the man finally called in a booming intimidating voice, that the test had ended. And so as he continued to talk, I looked around the room; the genins had almost cut in half. The final question was finally coming up.
“Hm...” he closed his eyes as if to remember a memory. “You all don't have what it takes to become a true shinobi!” Everyone stared at him, gaping at him. “If you really want to move on to the next round, then you'll have to answer this question correctly.” There was a long silence, “When you are on a mission and all your team mates are caught by the enemy, do you go and save them, and risk the mission. Or do you go and get the scroll but in the process lose your team mates to hell?” And silence that was too long, “These are just some of the intensive decisions a shinobi has to make in a second... ... ... so are you up to it? If you fail this turn around you will not be able to come back and advance to chuunin. You will remain genin for as long as you live...but if you were to just drop off now and play it safe, then you can come back next year, and try again...”
Just as he stopped his mouth, genins began to flake off one by one...ending up standing up and being escorted out...Those people...They're just throwing away everything. Hmm. If they aren't able to understand that all he is asking is, 'Can you take responsibility and do you have to skills?' but mostly, 'Are you ready?' Then maybe they really shouldn't be here after all... She watched as around 10 groups filed out the door one after another, looking saddened but safe none-the-less. Then as the last group left, he continued his question, all until a special blond stood up after a shaking and blurted out what was necessary... “Of course we're ready! This is why we're here!” So blondes aren't really that stupid... She smirked as she rested her head onto the table...
The table was empty now...Only her.
The examinator also smirked. It looked way better on him than that usual scowl. “Anybody else?” No answer. “This is a last call. Anyone else wanting to play it safe.” Nobody. They all seemed to get courage from this leaf genin.
“Congratulations! You've passed the first part of the Chuunin exams...The next-” He was cut off with a large banner being pinned against the ceiling. “My My, there's still so many...you're too easy on them...” She then turned her attention to the alerted genins. “Now then magette! We'll meet up at the forest of death! Where the next part of the exam will take place, meet at exactly 30 minutes from now. Be Prepared.” They all stood up and filed out of the large exam room; being left for another year to collect dust.
The girl clad in white went on a search for her team mates... Where are they? She ran from corner to corner of the large searching for them.
Ahh! Where are they? I hope they're not in another fight... She began running out towards the entrance of the academy, too frantic to think sh accidently bumped into someone; causing both of them to fall.
