Twighlight Witch [HP] [Intro.]
Chapter 4 : Twighlight Witch [HP] [Chp. 3]
Third part of the story, Twighlight Witch.
Hogwarts looked amazing yet so magical. A very tall man signaled all of the first years to board a small boat. I was thinking about going with Ron but Draco insisted that I'd board with him so I did. For some reason, I was hypnotized by Draco but I didn't want to be controlled by him forever. I just need to get some things straight with him before I even decide if he should be my friend or not. Once we landed onto the land where Hogwarts was, we stepped out of the small boats and walked onward. I had a feeling of a ball bouncing everywhere in my stomach in great speed. I couldn't wait to be sorted.
"So Draco, which house do you think you're going to be sorted in?" I asked. "Well I don't think. I know. The house that I will be in would always be Slytherin. It's where my kind of people are and where no muggle or half blood has been in." Draco replied. "Well that must be great for you." I murmered to myself. "Pardon me?" Draco asked. "Oh well that must be a reasonable house for you to be in. I myself could be in Ravenclaw." I said. "Where all the intelligent geeks are. You should be in Slytherin. Are you a pure blood?" Draco asked and I stopped. "Elena, is everything alright?" Draco asked. "Um...Yeah, I was just astonished to see what Hogwarts is like. Thats all." I replied and kept going.
What should I do? Should I tell him? I should but not now. Maybe when it's time but somewhere sooner. We reached to the main doors of Hogwarts which looked huge yet outstanding. A woman who looks old and has a strict face came forward. "First years, welcome to Hogwarts. We must begin the feast but before we do, we should sort you to your houses and then start. Please follow." the woman said and we walked onward. I was so excited yet happy to be in Hogwarts. We stepped into what I know it might be called the Great Hall. It looked amazing in the inside.
"Now students, we must sort you to your houses and so you must sit onto this stool then the Sorting Hat will sort you to your reasonable house. I will call you up for you to be sorted. Starting with, Hermione Granger." the woman said and so Hermione who I met hours ago on the train, stepped up and sat onto the stool. The most surprising part was, that the Sorting Hat talks! It may be weird at first but at least it's magical.
"Hmm...Very witty of a girl like her so should I sort her to Ravenclaw? No wait, I see something more incredible. Gryffindor!" the Sorting Hat shoted and we heard a roar of a applause from the Gryffindor table. "Draco Malfoy." the woman said and so Draco stepped up and sat onto the stool. "Very clever yet sleek. A cunning boy and so I should sort him to...Slytherin!" the Sorting Hat shouted and another roar of applause from the Slytherin table.
The Sorting Hat kept sorting everyone but I noticed I was last in line. "Elena Twighlight." the woman said so I stepped up and sat onto the stool. Now I was nervous because if I get sorted into Slytherin, Draco will be my friend but not the Weasleys but if I'm in Gryffindor then Draco would hate me and the Weasleys will be my friend. Where will I be in? "Hmm...very difficult. Very, very, very difficult to decide. Witty as a Ravenclaw, Courageous as a Gryffindor, Cunning as a Slytherin, and Loyal as a Hufflepuff. Very indeed difficult." the Sorting Hat said.
Was I even going to be sorted right? Am I that difficult to be sorted? Where do I fall in a place like this? "This girl...is nothing like the others. She has some sort of ability deep inside of her but, this is very indeed difficult to decide. Miss Twighlight, you may decide which house that you would like to be in." the Sorting Hat said. "I was hoping that you'd choose for me." I murmured. "Well if you insist Miss Twighlight. I suppose you should be in...Ravenclaw!" the Sorting Hat said and so there was a roar of applause at the Ravenclaw table so I paced towards there.
Even if I'm not in Gryffindor or Slytherin, at least I am happy in Ravenclaw. "Now, since all the first years have been sorted, I should make a toast. To all of you students, please have a wonderful and safe time in Hogwarts. I welcome you to the wonderful world of wizardry and magic. Welcome to Hogwarts." Dumbledore said and we all feasted. There was so many delicious food on the table and yet I ate a little. Was Draco going to torment me for being in Ravenclaw and not being in Slytherin? If only he understood but maybe he will when I tell him I'm a half blood.
As we finished, the Prefects dismissed us to our common room where we will be resting. The enterance of the Ravenclaw's common room was a bit odd but since Ravenclaw was noted at the Witty house, we must answer a question correctly to enter. "Now, remember first years, you must answer the question correctly to enter the common roon." Penelope Clearwater who is Percy Weasley's girlfriend said. I stayed clear with the rules but I saw a glimpse of someone. So I slyly left the crowd of the Ravenclaws to check on who it was.
"Hello? Anyone here?" I asked and a hand was covering my mouth and I was grabbed by the arm. "Don't scream. It's me, Draco." Draco said so I stopped squealing. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "I wanted to check on you. Why didn't you pick Slytherin?" Draco asked. "Maybe because I wasn't good enough for the Slytherins. Maybe I was better in Ravenclaw." I replied. "Well you're much better off with the geeks so come to Slytherin. Say you chenged your mind or I could get my father to do it." Draco said. "I can't Draco. I'm with the geeks so, bye." I said and left.
Yet again I felt to cold rush going through me and I took one last glance of Draco and he was in the shadows showing half of his face. Things weren't going well but in the meantime, I will have to tell him. Even if it means losing him as my friend.
