~After school~

You walk out to the student parking lot seeing that, that was the only fast way to your house for walking distance. As you walk on the sidewalk you look over to see the Cullen’s getting into a red Viper. The guy that you were attracted to looks over and again gives you a dirty look then hops in the driver seat starting the car. You try to ignore them but something about there family seemed a little off maybe it was the lighting that they were sitting at in the cafeteria….but wait there wasn’t really any lighting at all they picked the darkest corner in the cafeteria maybe that’s why everyone called them freaks because they like some privacy and they knew people wouldn’t go over to them if they were in the darkest area. You shake your head of the thought and begin to walk to your house drowning the world out with three days grace.

You get inside instantly locking the door like you had learned with your mother until she decided to not care about anything anymore. You go to the kitchen rummaging threw the fridge trying to figure out what to eat. When eventually you find a can of green beans, some meat to make meat loaf and some frozen vegetables. You grab those items and decide to make dinner early since you were starving, you would just leave the stove on so the food would be warm for Charlie for whenever he got home. You place the green beans in a pan and place it on the front stove setting it on medium and do the same with the vegetables but put it on high because they were frozen. You take the meat out and set it on a white cutting board then grab some chopped onions and fold it into the meat along with some cracker crumbs. When your finished with that you turn the stove on and put the meat loaf in two different pans then set it off to the side waiting for the over to heat up. You pour yourself a glass of juice and sit on the couch switching on the TV surfing the channels until you stop at a news channel. You set your juice down on the table looking at the TV hoping something good was happening.

News: “We just got word that there was another body found not to long ago they have not released the name on who it is yet…lets go to Bret for a follow up Bret”

B: “Hey Carrie im here with officer Swan and he is going to tell us more on what happened”

You scoot closer to the TV now very interested.

D: “well it seems that the victim has no blood in them at all were not exactly sure what has caused this but this case is similar to all the other cases.”

B: “so for our children’s sake do you think we should keep them inside”

D: “Yes that way you know they are safe just make sure you have contact with them at all times”

B: “ok you heard it keep your children with you at all times back to you Carrie”

You turn to the TV off rolling your eyes then go back into the kitchen and see that the oven was done heating. You pick up the two pans and stick them in the oven setting the timer then go back into the living room and sit back down reading a book.

“ I walked into the dark damp house feeling fear surround me as I stepped in, there were many sounds echoing throughout the house it almost sounded like I was in a cave but this was a very big cave. As I walked more inside I could see a shadow in the corner. Of course me being very curious walked forward putting my hands out in front of me ready to touch the shadow. When I got to the shadow I touched something somewhat hard like a mans chest. The shadow walks out into the moonlight showing himself he had the most amazing blue eyes and dark brown hair he almost looked like a god to me for a second. When our eyes met I knew it was love…..”

You smile enjoying the book so far when you hear a crash outside of your house, you close the book and set it on the coffee table walking to the door. You open the door and walk outside wondering if it was someone next door neighbor that had fallen, you walk out onto the street and look both ways not seeing anyone but when you turn around you bump into a hard chest. You look up to see a creepy looking man he had messy blond hair and weird purple eyes.

U: “im sorry”

You try to walk around him but he gets in your way.

U: “umm your in my way could you please move”

He crosses him arms over his chest and gives you a cold stare. You try walking around him again but he again moves in front of you so you couldn’t go around him. You pull out your cell phone about to call your dad for help but he grabs the phone before it could even ring. He ends the call and throws it in your yard.

U: “ what do you want from me” you say now terrified

He just smirks and walks closer. When a police car cuts him off from getting any closer to you. You look over to see Charlie sitting there glaring at the guy.

D: “Bella get inside”

You nod and walk inside closing the door behind you hoping Charlie would be ok. A few minutes later Charlie walks in with a smug look.....
