Staring out through my glass window as I see the dark sky just staying there for every night. "Tomorrow is the day." I said to myself. Tomorrow is the day. I keep repeating that in my mind until my mother came in. "Well, you should get some sleep for tomorrow. Don't want to be late now do we?" my mother asked. "No mum. I'll go to bed in 5 minutes. Just want to check if I have everything." I replied giving her a blank stare. "Well okay then. Good night Elena." my mother said smiling and walked off. I feel as if I just missed something. Was she going to miss me? Is she worried? Am I okay? No, I am not okay but if if I do get some rest then I'll be fine by tomorrow.
Checking my luggage to see if I have everything set for tomorrow, I was definetly ready. I slipped into bed not wanting to get off but as soon as I closed my eyes, it was now morning. It felt as if just 3 seconds just passed but it was now 5 in the morning. "That quick?" I asked to myself as I streched my arms. So I slipped out of bed yawning and well, I was off to start my morning routine. Mother was already awake seeing as if she couldn't wait to see me board the train to Hogwarts. I began to wonder what has happened to her. It feels like she's hiding something important from me but I decided to forget about it.
As I finished my morning routine, I took one look of myself in the mirror. All I see is a reflection of a girl who is about to exprience the wonder of magic. I stepped out of my room carrying my messenger bag and my owl cage with my owl inside of it named Alexandra. She was a pitch black owl with the eyes of the moon. My mother was carrying my luggage case full of the things I will be needing for Hogwarts. Both of us stuffed the car with my things and we were off to King's Cross Station. During the car ride, I was wondering what the school years would be like in Hogwarts. It was amazing to me that I get to go to a magical school. Maybe I might make new friends when I'm there but I kept thinking to myself, Who would want to be my friend? We finally got to King's Cross Station so I stepped out of the car as mother parked the car in the nearby parking lot.
As we were carrying my luggage to platform 9 3/4, my mother told me some rules that needs to be followed. Even if I heard my mother going over the rules, my eyes were wandering around looking at everything and even the number 9 3/4. Passing 5, 6, 7, 8, and now 9 was next. But I was astonished to see no 9 3/4 anywhere once I reached to 10. "Mum, where's 9 3/4?" I asked looking up at her. "Well it said 9 3/4 was suppose to be between 9 and 10 but it seems there isn't." my mother responded back. I was in deep shock yet sad to see no 9 3/4 anywhere. Was this some kind of joke or a mistake?
Somehow, Mrs. Weasley, Ginny, Ron, Fred, and George were here also. "Come on Fred, just go through that wall." I overheard Mrs. Weasley saying. "Oh my, Lora, over here." Mrs. Weasley signaling my mother to come and so I did. "Molly, where is exactly 9 3/4 located?" my mother asked. "Well it's right here in front of you Lora. All you have to do is just go right through the wall and Hogwarts Express is awaiting. Now George, it's your turn next! Come on." Mrs. Weasley said and so George went through the wall which amazed me. "May I try next?" I asked. "Sure sweetie. Just walk towards it and you'll be there. Just hurry now before we're late." Mrs. Weasley replied and so I walked passed the brick wall.
She was right all along. Fred and George was right in front of me which made scream. "It's us Elena. You know, the Weasley Twins." Fred said. "I know. I just thought of something or someone else in the way." I said breathing deeply. "Well alright then. Lets get you boarded onto the Hogwarts Express shall we?" George said giving me a friendly smile and so we carried our things to the train. Both Fred and George were kind enough to put my luggage away except my messenger bag. "So, am I going to sit with Ron or you two?" I asked. "Well you decide I suppose." Fred replied and so I decided to sit with Fred and George.
As all of us were looking for a compartment, Fred and George were whispering to themselves which made me curious. "So, should we sit here?" I asked signaling an empty compartment. "Sure, I suppose so." George said not even looking at the compartment and so I settled in without them. They kept walking and whispering at the same time which made me worried. I thought to myself, They must be planning something...Something on me. I didn't like the feeling of being "planned" on and I bet no one else would either.
I looked through the window to see my mother waving at me which she wasn't. For some reason, I thought my mother didn't want to see me leave which made my eyes form watery tears. George came in and saw my tears flowing down my cheeks. "What's wrong?" George asked sitting next to me and holding onto me tightly. "Oh nothing. It's just that I'm excited. That's all." I replied trying to hold back my tears. "No, there's something else isn't there?" George asked looking into my eyes to seek the truth. "Well, it's nothing to talk about. Really." I replied looking away. He walked out feeling as if he wanted to help all along.
I decided to look through my messenger bag for a book but a note flew onto my lap and so I read the note. It reads: Dear Elena, I am truely sorry for not saying goodbye to you but this isn't the end for us to not meet. Please send me letters back and come home for the holidays. I will truely miss you sweetie. I love you with all my heart. From, Mum. Now I knew she did care and so I was relieved. George came in seeing that I was still looking through the window and so he hugged me on the side. "May I ask what that was for?" I asked. "Well just to comfort you before the train starts." George replied.
Fred came in with a snicker and a devious look. "So, we managed it?!" George asked and Fred nodded wildly. "What's going on?" I asked. "Promise us you would never tell anyone or we will plan pranks on you for the rest of the school year." George said. "I promise." I said. "Well we planned a prank on boy named Draco Malfoy. He should be in your year." Fred said. "Why?" I simply asked. "Well because he called our families poor and pure blood traitors." George replied. "Well I suppose that tormenting him is okay." I said.
Everyone was saying their goodbyes and the train started so I relaxed onto the couch like seat. Lee, Fred and George's friend, came in and talked with them. I introduced to myself to Lee and the express went onward. I began to wonder again and had a happy smile upon my face.
