-JESSE'S POV-
I felt something strike me whenI was going to the front door.When I put my hand on my stomach or so and looked at it
"Oh my god!,"I said,and asI turned to realize thatKevin shot me!I stared down to seemy shirt covered with blood like I was bleeding ...nonstop.I felt dizzy and just collasped on the groun.I heard Gustav's voice echoing in my head.I was reliefed to have him next to me.A few minutes laterI heard an ambulance, police officers yelling," Drop your gun now....drop it and put your hands behind your head," then I heard something fall to the ground.
The peramedics kept telling me thatI was gonna be fine.That made me feel safe.The last thingI rememberwas Justin holding my hand and hear him call my parents.I was in complete pain.The last thingI remember seeing was Justin's face thencomplete blur.
-GUSTAV'S POV-
Iwaited in the waiting room with Justin and Jesse's parents andI could see and feel the pain they were facing.The sadness they felt...just filled the room.While thinking about Jesse's,I kept telling myself,
"NoI can't loose Jesse in such a way ... she can't die ..she's too young to die and she's just 16!,she still has to know how I feel towards her...she has to know..".
What cut me off the runningsentences in my head was Jesse's parents,
"Hi,"I said turning to face them,
"Ummm,Hiare you gustav?," they asked,
"Uhh, yeah that's me!"I answered with a smile.
"Oh it's just great to see that the guy Jesse's been talking about pretty much all day is here ...we mean she never stops talking about you, " they said laughing,but I knew they weretrying to hidetheir sadness.
"Oh really?!"I repliedraising an eyebrow.
"It's just a plesure to meet you Gustav... and you don't have to stay if you dont want to,we mean you can go get some sleep and come back in the morning," they suggested.BeforeI was able to answer the doctor came out, and I smiled at them then heard what the doctor had to say.
"Jesse's lost alot of blood, but she's fine now..." he said looking at some files she was holding.
"However she's gonna have to rest for a few days and we should keep her here in for observation since she's stable right now, but we never know what will happen next..just in case," said the doctor.
I could see Jesse's mom hold back her tears but couldn't anymore then Jesse's dad held her close and kissed her head,
"Can we see here?," Jesse's dad asked,
"Sure you can but she's really tired and she 's asleep, but can hear you," the doctor answered,
"Thank you doctor," Jesse's dad replied thankfully.
"I think you guys should go in first "I said allowing them to pass,
"You sure?," asked Justin
"I mean she would want you to be there,"he continued,
"No, no that's fine...seriously I'll see her afterwards,"I answeredtrying not to be the first one in.
"Ok," Justin said patting me on the shoulder.I felt like something was repaired inside of me when the doctor said that Jesse was fine.I couldn't wait to go see her.
IknewI had to tell her howI fell towards her, butI was haunted by the thought that she might have no feelings towards me so that's whyI hesitated of telling her before, yetI think I'm gonna tell her but when the right time comes ..hopefully it would come soon enough.
-JESSE'S POV-
Iwas in a very deep sleep whenI heard my parents talking to me,I tried to open my eyes butI just couldn't, and then gave up .I really wanted to see them and talk to them since they were gone for the weekend, and they probably came back when they knewwhat happened.I heard the door close and then heard someone come in,I was sure my parents left my room but never thought someone else was with them.
SuddenlyI felt a warm hand hold mine,I fought till my eyes finally gave up and opened. My eyes were open tolet me see Gustav holding my hand.I was very contented to see him.
"Hey," he said,I tried to say hi but couldn't but it was enough to have my eyes opened and see him infront of me.I squeezed his hand and he did the same.I looked at him straight in the eyes and he did to ,I kept staring at him till my eyes just drifted me to the world of peace.I fell asleep, butI was still holding Gustav's hand and he was too .
