So I stood there listening for footsteps. Suddenly I heard Morgan start giggling and one of the guys groaned; I’m not sure which one though. Shortly after, they appeared in the clearing.

“Come on, Drake. You are the one who suggested the kissing part, now kiss Damion.” Morgan teased.

Damion stood facing Drake his hands still inside his pockets. Drake looked at Damion then mumbled something about it being Damion’s fault they had to kiss. It’s my guess that Damion just stood still and let Morgan tag him. I wonder why? Drake stepped a little closer to Damion and brought his hand to Damion’s chin, then after a slight hesitation leaned in.

At first it seemed that they were just going to leave it at a long peck, but then Damion pulled his hands out of his pockets and tried to pull Drake closer, although they were rather close already. After Damion made his move, their kiss got a lot steamier.

Wow, I’ve never seen two guys kiss, especially not like this. I’m almost tempted to record a bit of this on my cell, but that would be rude. Yea, that’s it… rude.

After snogging for about two minutes straight, they pulled apart.

“Absolutely amazing,” Morgan said, trying hard not to smile as she said it.

Drake’s icy blue ices glinted in the moonlight. Damion’s gaze drifted right through everyone; my guess was that he was savoring the kiss. He started to slide his hands into his pockets again, and then looked at Morgan.

“Uh, I’m going to head back to the concert to get something to drink,” Damion’s voice broke the silence. It had such a wonderful deepness to it.

Drake nodded, “Check up on Chris and Beth. We don’t want to end up babysitting do we?”

Morgan laughed and I smiled. Damion smirked, then slid his bracelet on and walked down the trails. Drake ran his fingers through his hair smiling.

“So what ever shall we do?” Drake said that is such a way that he sounded like those annoying “damsel’s in distress’’ from those old time western movies.

I laughed a little and he got up in my face, playfully.

“You think that’s funny, little Missy?” His southern accent was so very notably faked.

I smiled, trying hard not to laugh. His icy eyes held my hazel eyes in an entrancing stare. As our eyes held that stare, my smile slowly faded from my lips and my cheeks became warmer.

“So if you two are done now, we could just sit and talk. Heck, we could even rejoin the concert,” Morgan interrupted.

I giggled nervously and slowly moved my gaze. He stepped back grinning. My phone vibrated, and I jumped letting out a loud gasp. They both turned to me.

“It was just my phone,” I said as I lifted my skirt and slipped my hand into my pocket.

Korin asked me where I was, so I told her that I was wandering the trails with a couple of new friends. She quickly sent back the ever so exciting, note sarcasm, news that she had found someone to date, then she told me that I best not get lost because she’ll leave without me. I agreed.

I checked the time, it was now mid-night. I walked over to the tree and pulled my bracelet off and slipped it back on. Morgan and Drake grabbed theirs, too.

“So what should we do?” I asked.

“I think I’m going to get something to drink, too. I’ll see you two here in about fifteen to twenty minutes, ohkay?” Morgan stated it more than she really asked.

We both nodded, and Drake grinned.

“Drake, can I talk to you for a moment?” Morgan asked while grabbing his arm and pulling him away from me.

I couldn’t hear anything she was whispering, so I suddenly felt very self-conscious.

“Gees, I’m not a dope. I know better,” Drake complained as he walked back to where I was standing.

Morgan disappeared down the trails leaving Drake and me alone. I plopped down on one of the logs. Drake plopped down on the one in front of me then slid off backwards. I gasped slightly then stood up offering my hand down to him. He laughed at himself and took my hand. I pulled up, but I couldn’t lift him by myself. I pulled a little harder and he pulled on my arm causing me to fall on top of him.

I started to push myself up and my eyes drifted to his. He smiled as our eyes met, that same entrancing stare began again. I felt my cheeks burn again, but I still couldn’t look away. He brought his hand up behind my head and lowered my lips to his slowly.

“Claudia? Are you alright?” Drake asked leaning forward in his seat.

His voice jolted me from my small fantasy. I have no idea what brought that on, I mean to think I’d just drift off that fast.

“I’m fine,” I replied, my cheeks started to burn.

His eyes met mine and he smiled. Something about his smile… I don’t know what, but his smile is strange. Some how, it has to be.

This time I felt my mind slowly drift slowly. He leaned forward and grabbed my shoulder pulling me towards him.

I noted my body actually moving closer towards him, but his hands weren’t pulling me.

He kept pulling me closer until I was sitting in his lap, then he wrapped his arm around my waist.

I was now really sitting in his lap; his arm wasn’t around me as it was in my mind. Our eyes never broke contact.

His other hand traced the bones in my arm, and then he trailed a finger down my jaw, coaxing my mouth to his.

His arms hadn’t moved an inch in reality, but my lips were getting closer to his. His icy blues were still holding my hazel stare. Suddenly, our lips met. Then his arms wrapped around my waist. I brought my arms around his neck. I blushed furiously, but couldn’t break away from the kiss.

He let his fingers run down my forehead and over my eyes, never once breaking the kiss or the stare.

My eyes closed and my face tingled, but his arms never even left my waist. He broke the kiss slowly. I could feel his breath on my neck, but my eyes didn’t open.

In my mind, I saw him. I saw me sitting in his lap, his arms around me. My eyes were still closed, but I could see him break the kiss and lower his head to my throat. His mouth opened in a grin, and then he opened his mouth a little wider getting closer to my flesh. His teeth, something about them seemed, different.

“Drake, what the hell do you think you’re doing?!” Beth shouted.

I heard her shout, it was definitely real enough. I couldn’t seem to open my eyes. It was if he was still running his fingers slightly over my eyelids. In my mind I could hear his voice, “Shh, everything will be alright. I promise, just breathe… relax, Claudia. Relax”
