One Tear Too Many (aftermath)

5 years later and the memory was as clear as glass.
I stood in a small room surrouned with mirrors. I stood in the middle of the room examining the dress that hugged my body. And it wasn't a normal dress either, it was a beautiful wedding dress. My mom and Denise were in the room too, giving me small words of wisdom, and telling me how happy they were that I was marrying Joe. My mind flooded with stupid questions. Would he leave me at the alter? Am I ready? Is he ready? What happens when me and him are alone tonight? A deep chill ran down my spine. Was I really ready for that? My questions were never answered becuase a deep knock was heard at the door to the room. Denise walked to the door and peaked around, probably making sure Joe wouldn't see the dress. Then after a second she turned back to me.
"Kate, Its Kev, Are you ready?" She looked at me.
I gave a light no, words would not come out of my mouth.
My mom helped me to the door and handed me to Kevin as her and Denise ran to their seats. Kevin was walking me, he was the closest boy to me other then Joe of coarse, he was an onlder brother to me now, I guess today would just make it offical.
"It's okay" Kevin whispered in my ear. He continued to whisper soothing things into my ear, he knew I was on end at this point.
Then we began to walk arm in arm. I looked up caustously to see Joe beaming at me. He wanted this more then anything.
The walk, was way shorter then I had hoped, I had to say. I was nervous. Kevin went to Nicks side and watched as I stood next to Joe.
He whispered one thing to me "I Love you, always and forever."
I woke to 2 four year olds jumping on my soft bed. Austin and Bella.
"Mom its Monday! Daddy is coming home!" Bella yelled at the top of her lungs.
Bella was alot like her dad in many ways, loud....very loud and outgoing. But she looked like a mix of me and Joe. She had dark brown hair that reached just past her shoulders, and big bright bluegreen eyes like mine. Her skin was darker, Joes side.
"Yeah mom, don't you want to see dad." Austin pushed lightly on my shoulder.
Austin the exact opposite of Bella, hard to believe they were twins. He has bleach blonde hair, and brown eyes. He was shy little cutie of coarse, always hiding behind me or Joe when he met new people. He was a little angel.
I yawned a little. "Of coarse I want to see daddy." They smiled at me being awake and sat next to me on my bed.
Joe was still touring with his brothers of coarse. And they took off for here late last night.
Austin and Bella sat on my lap and hugged around my waiste from both sides. That was before there was a honk outside.
"Daddy's Home!" Bella squealed as she ran to the window.
Austin followed her and looked down the the street.
"He brought Uncle Nicky and Kev!" Austin added just at excited.
Austin grew towards Nick and Bella was in love with Kevin.
"Go down and tell them I'll be down soon." With that the 2 of them sprinted out of the room and down the hall within seconds.
I took out a pair of dark wash jeans and a California sweatshirt before I walked down the stairs to see everyone.
Joe was on the ground being tackled by his 2 childrun. Nick and Kevin looked on laughing lightly. I walked slowly around the mess on the floor, hugging both Nick and Kevin.
"Austin, Bella. Do me and uncle Nick not get any love?" Kevin asked light laughing still.
Both Austin and Bella shot their heads up and ran at them like that probably did to Joe. Austin hugging Nick's leg, and Bella running in Kevin's wide arms. I turned back to Joe who was now dusting himself off.
He walked up to me and wrapped his arms around my waiste, sliding his hands in to my back pockets and kissing my forehead.
"Missed you."
"I missed you too." I murmmered into his shoulder.
He laughed and kissed the top of my head.
"Wanna go on the balcony?" He asked into my neck.
"Yeah." He took my hand and dragged me out on to the balcony. We settles on this bed we had out there, looking out at the ocean. I was inbetween his legs leaning up against him as we looked out. He would occasionly kiss my neck lightly making me giggle.
"Nick and Kev are going to take Austin and Bella for the night." He smiled as he kissed my cheek.
"Sounds okay with me." I smiled as I took in his scent.
"I love you, more then anything Kathryn" He laughed and poked my nose.
"I love you too, Joseph Adam."
He smiled and looked back out on the ocean. Where I soon fell alseep, in my husbands arms.
