RECAP:“I can’t expect you to stay here on just my word so I’m going to make sure you stay here”
He says as he starts to walk away
“TOUSHIRO!”
I shout as he slides the door open and stops for a moment, looking over his shoulder
“Its Captain Hitsugaya”
And with that he closes the door leaving me behind

I struggle using all of my strength but fail to break the bond {Damn you Toushiro, you little bastard} I think as I wiggle and fall off the couch onto my knees. I could feel them, Rangiku heading one direction, Toushiro in another. I could sense three more spiritual pressures. One of Gin and the blonde guy, and a small signature of Momo. I had the worst feeling in my stomach and it kept getting worse
“Sh-Shoot!”
I mumble as I pant becoming exhausted. {This. Won’t. Hold. Me. BACK!} My eyes snap open as I feel all this spiritual energy flowing through my body. Suddenly there’s a burst of it as I break the bindings and this pressure engulfs me. I look at the window and quickly jump out of it. I land on the ground perfectly this time as I look to the left {Toushiro} I quickly begin to sprint as fast as my legs take me as I sense Momo’s arrival. After running for 20 minutes or so I come to a slow stop lowering my energy and looking from the corner. I see Gin and Izuru standing back as Momo holds her sword up to Toushiro. I watch as she raises her sword to try and strike him {What is she doing? I thought they were good friends?} I think confused as I watch him easily dodge her attack. The dust clears as he stands his ground
“Listen to yourself! This is foolish! You think Aizen would want you to risk your life?! Can you really believe that Captain Aizen would say that?!”
He shouts to her as I see her body shake
“The Aizen I know would never be stupid enough to face unbeatable odds on his own, and if he did he is certainly NOT some coward who would have his own men bail him out because he couldn’t finish the job!”
He shouts as she sobs
“I-I know! But the captain wrote everything in his letter! He did! And it had to be his handwriting! I wouldn’t miss it!”
She says as her voice cracks from her sobs
“I couldn’t believe it either, but it’s true! And this is what he wanted me to do so I’ll do it!”
She goes in for another attack as he dodges all of them with ease. {Letter?} I think as I watch them {Someone close to him must have forged the letter and wrote Toushiro was the killer, and that’s why she’s so hurt and confused} I think as she limply holds her sword
“I can’t do it, I just can’t. I’m so confused, I don’t know what I’m suppose to do”
She says as I look at her {She needs to calm down or she won’t ever see past that lie} I think as I glare at Gin {That snake, he has to have something to do with this} I think as I continue to watch quietly
“Momo…you have to stop…”
Toushiro says quietly not knowing what to do either. She screams out as she gives a bigger attack but he dodges. I see him in the air as she jumps up too {From what I’ve heard about this Aizen guy, he would never write a letter like that to Momo, I mean she can’t possibly compete with him, she’ll die} I think. I watch Hitsugaya look at Gin as he glares
“YOU’LL PAY!”
He shouts as I watch him zoom down to him but as he does Momo jumps in the way. Without any other choice he knocks her to the ground. My eyes widen as I quickly jump out and catch her making me collide in the ground for her.
“Momo!”
He says but before he can turn around Gin begins to talk
“Oh dear, I didn’t know the captain of the 10th squad could be so cruel”
I glare at him as he just keeps his same smile
“She was obviously suffering from emotional distress, so why would you be so rough on her”
“Gin….”
I hear Toushiro say in a dangerously low tone
“What exactly do you want”
He says as Gin shrugs
“Those words you said that day…they’re etched into my mind”
He says as he becomes quiet for a moment
“I see Aizen wasn’t enough for you”
I look at Momo as I carefully lay her on the ground
“Hey, Momo look at me”
I try to wake her but she was out for good. {Damn..} I look and my eyes catch sight of a white piece of paper. {The letter..} I think as I grab it and put it into my shihakusho. I glance at Momo ever so often as I watch the two continue to battle. He pushes Toushiro’s blade back as he moves around him so quickly. My eyes widen as he appears right in front of me. I quickly jump away from Momo to keep her from danger as I pull out my sword defending myself.
“Ah, you’re fast”
He says as I glare at him
“Though I wonder if you’re any faster”
My eyes widen as suddenly I see him jump back and charge again. We exchange blow after blow but I felt like I was slowing down {Why, why am I slowing down?} I ask myself when finally I realized it {I’m not the one slowing down, he’s just becoming faster} I think shocked as he has that same snake of a smile on his face. My eye widen as his sword inches closer to my face {Wh-What?!} I quickly dodge the blade but feel it cut my cheek. I wince but as I do I see him right in front of me again
“Wh-What?!”
I say shocked as he side kicks me. I scream out as I hit the ground and my sword goes flying. I wince and groan as I look to see him walking over. I look to see my sword so far away {Damn!} He stands over me and I close my eyes. Suddenly there’s a breeze as I hear sword collide
“Wha…”
I trail off as I see Toushiro
“I gave you a warning”
He says as I feel his strength increasing
“I told you if you ever hurt Momo, I‘d make you pay!”
He says as anger drips from his voice as I see him grab his sword. I could hear the pain in his voice and it hit me hard
“And then you go and attack Yuri, heh. Well, I should of warned you before, if you dared to try hurting this girl , I’D DESTROY YOU!”
He shouts infuriated as Gin glances at me
“If you insist on fighting me here than I’ll have no other choice but to stop you”
Gin replies as he grabs the hilt of his sword. I watch as both of their aura’s become bigger. I could tell things were about to get really, really bad.
“As for you Izuru”
Gin says to him
“I suggest you move back, unless you feel like dying”
I glare at him as I quickly pick up Momo and move far back from the fight. I turn back to see Toushiro begin to pull out his zanpakuto
“Don’t be stupid Izuru, moving back won’t be good enough, I promise you in a minute you won’t want to be 10 miles near this place. So run and don’t you look back”
He warns as I see his sword begin to glow as well
“If you stay here I can’t guarantee I won’t kill you by mistake!”
He says as I see the fear in Izuru’s eyes. Suddenly I watch Toushiro disappear as the battle begins {…Be careful..}
Oh jeez!!!! Something’s about to go down!!!
Attack after attack both dodge with grace. It seemed like both were evenly matched at this point.
“So the rumors about the 10th Captain Hitsugaya are true, evidently you’re quite the fighter and a sword like yours that only come around every 10 centuries”
Gin says as I feel the tension grow
“How scary”
I see Toushiro’s spiritual pressure grow as he goes in for another attack, only this was different {Wh-What is he doing?} I think not sure what his next move would be. I watch as they charge at each other and their swords collide together
“Well it would seem better to not underestimate you”
He says as I stay quiet
“Or I may end up regretting doing so afterwards”
He says as Toushiro just glares
“No, you’re wrong”
He replies as for once Gin’s smile disappears
“Because from this moment on you’re going to regret this whole day!”
He says as I see this sparkle in his eyes
“Remember, You’re the one who forced me to do this Gin”
He warns as he stands
“And now you’re GOING TO PAY!”
He shouts as his spiritual pressure feels like it’s going to crush me. I watch as he jumps into the air and all three of us watch him {What is he doing?} I ask myself as I see the skies turn black
“RAIN OVER THE FROSTED SKY!”
He shouts. I watch shocked as ice engulfs his blade and suddenly some sort of dragon appears around him.
“HYORINMARU!”
I stare shocked as the dragon roars {What…the…hell..} I think astonished as he commands the dragon to attack Gin. I watch as Gin just dodges but Izuru gets soaked by water. My eyes widen as the water turns to ice and he smashes into the ground
“ugh, damn it”
I snap as I quickly sprint to him grabbing my sword in the process. I dodge the ice and water not wanting to be frozen myself. I quickly duck as I use my sword to crack the ice attaching him to the ground. I struggle but finally pick him up but as I do I fall
“What the”
I look to see both of my legs frozen
“Damn it!”
I snap as I look at Izuru to see him slightly frightened. I quickly throw him far from the scene as I try to pull my leg {FUCK!} I pound on the ice but it was no use, I could feel my legs beginning to numb. I place my hand on the ice trying to find a weak spot but to my surprise the ice melt {Wh-What..} I use both hands and the ice turns to water. Not really caring I quickly run over and pull the blonde one over to safety
“Are you ok?”
I ask as he just looks away ashamed. Suddenly Gin’s voice fill the air
“Pierce her flesh, Shinso”
I raise an eyebrow {Toushiro is not a her~} My eyes widen as Gin’s sword extends and I look for it’s destination {N-No!} I quickly start to run without thinking as I cover my body over Momo’s
“Y-YURI!”
Toushiro shouts as Gin starts to talk
“I suppose this girl dying for the two of you makes it ok for you to dodge this”
Gin says as I squeeze my eyes shut
“ergh…YURI!”
I hear him shout. I wait but I hear the sound of sword colliding. I look and my eyes widen in shock
“R-Rangiku!”
I say shocked as I wipe the blood pooling down my cheek
“Please, forgive me captain, I was returning to my quarters but I…”
She glances back at me
“I sensed Yuri’s arrival and then I felt Hyorinmaru’s spiritual pressure and thought you needed assistance”
She explains as I turn off of Momo
“Now, Captain Ichimaru, please! Put your sword away”
She says as I see him staring at her.
“If you refuse you’ll have to fight against the both of us”
She says as he and her have a bit of a moment. I could hear the sound of her sword cracking and his smile had disappeared the moment she arrived {These two…}
*SIGH*
I stare out the window as the sun begins to rise. My whole body was exhausted and I had gotten no sleep. I reach up to my cheek as the end of the fight enters my head
“Rangiku!”
I say quietly as Gin retracts his sword. I come to her side as she pants slightly from what I assume the pain
“Are you alright?”
I ask her as she nods her head but stares directly at Gin. He starts to walk away as Toushiro looks at him
“Where do you think you’re going?! I’m not finished with you”
He snaps as Gin stops walking
“Instead of coming after me, perhaps you should look after the squad 5 lieutenant”
He says walking away and disappearing. I look at Momo as I hold her in my arms
“Is she going to be ok?”
I ask Rangiku as she nods her head. She looks back
“Captain”
“We’ll take Momo and make sure she’s not severely injured, Yuri, go back to the office”
“I~”
“I said GO BACK!”
He shouts with all the anger in his body as I close my mouth. Rangiku looks at me as she nods and takes Momo from me. I stand up as Toushiro keeps his back to me
“You’ll stay there until further notice”
He says in a dangerous tone as I say nothing, turn and flash step back.
“Ugh, my head hurts”
I mumble as I look at myself in the reflection of the window. I touch my cheek and wince as my scar breaks and blood falls down my cheek {Damn it, his sword just grazed me and yet it cut so deep} I think as I carefully wipe the blood and put a bandage over my cheek. I sigh as I pull the letter out from my shihakusho. I stare at it hesitating as I slowly open it. As I read my eyes widen and widen {What he wrote, how could she even believe any of this} I think as I continue to read {I suppose when you care and trust in someone as much as she did that happens} I think {That Soukyouku…I wonder if it’s true…} I think as I fold the letter back up. Suddenly the door slides open revealing a very emotionless looking Toushiro. I stay quiet as he takes a step inside and slides the door shut. We stand in silence for a moment before he walks up to me. I look at the floor as he stops right in front of me
“Look at me”
He says as I ignore him
“I said look at me!”
He snaps as I just glance at him but still ignore his command. I hear him growl slightly as I feel him grab my chin roughly making me look him in the eyes.
“What did I tell you”
He says in a low voice as I don’t answer
“WHAT DID I TELL YOU?!”
He shouts as he keeps a good hold on my chin
“…You…You said…”
“I said what?!”
“You said to stay in the office”
“SO WHY DIDN’T YOU LISTEN TO ME?!”
He shouts, I could tell he was infuriated with me. I glare at him as he glares back at me
“I COULDN’T JUST SIT HERE WHILE YOU WENT OFF TO FIGHT!”
I shout back as his eyes narrow
“That was not your battle to fight”
We glare at each other. Never letting go of my chin he speaks
“You would of lost your life acting like an idiot like you did”
He says as I stare at him, eyes penetrating mine
“Then I would of died”
I say as he brings my face closer
“You treat your life as if you could careless if you died or not”
He says as I stay quiet as the temperature drops tremendously around us making chills run down my spine
“WELL THERE ARE OTHERS WHO DO CARE YOU FOOL”
He shouts as I stay quiet trying to look away from his eyes. We stare at each other for what seems like hours as he leans forward slightly as my mind begins to shut down {Wh-What is he doing?} He takes a step closer as our bodies softly colliding with one another. I feel a blush appear on my face as his warm breath hits my face
“I wouldn’t forgive you…or…or myself”
He says quietly as my eyes widen in shock
“…I…Rangiku’s waiting for me”
He says almost whispering as I can barely comprehend what he’s saying
“We’re…we’re stopping the execution, which has been moved up”
I stare shocked as he slowly pulls away from me. He grabs my hand as he pulls me out of his office
“What are you doing?”
I ask confused as he looks back
“No point in telling you to stay here now is there”
He says smirking slightly as I expression brightens slightly. As we come outside I see Rangiku waiting at the front
“How’s your arm?”
I ask her as she looks at it and rubs it gently
“It’s alright, really. And your cheek?”
She asks me as I see Toushiro glance at me
“It’s just a cut”
I say as I shrug and start to walk but as I do I feel someone grab my wrist
“You’re not coming with us”
I raise an eyebrow as I look at him confused
“What?”
I say shocked as Rangiku looks at him shocked as well
“Captain~”
“I believe this would be the perfect moment to go save Rukia with your friends if Rangiku and I can’t reason with the court”
He says as I stare at him in shock
“But~”
“What? You want to come with me? Funny seeing as every time I say stay you end up leaving”
He says as I roll my eyes sticking my bottom lip out slightly. He smirks as he point to the left
“I sense your friends in that direction, if you go now you’ll be able to catch them”
He says as I nod my head
“Hurry, they’re with the captain and lieutenant of the 11th squad and they’re quick on their feet”
He explains as I raise an eyebrow
“But I thought~”
“It would seem as though their captain has had a change of heart”
He says already knowing my question
“The Soukyouku is in that direction”
Toushiro points out as I nod
“Chances are when you meet the others they’ll be lost, so remember where it is. Now go”
He says as I nod I turn to leave but stop and turn back to them
“I…thank you”
I say quietly as I quickly bow and flash step away. I look over my shoulder as both he and Rangiku become smaller and smaller. I give a small smile for the first time in years {Thanks..}
Aw!!!!
Hitsugaya watches as Yuri begins to disappear in the distance. His eyes linger in her direction as his lieutenant watches him {Captain…}
“Are you sure this is a good idea”
He nods his head as he begins to walk in the other direction
“This is where we part ways, we all have our own paths”
He says quietly as he glances one last time in her direction {Hn, Good luck}. Rangiku smiles as she watches her captain walk away
“Rangiku”
“Yes sir”
“JESUS WHAT ARE THEY THE TRACK TEAM?!”
I shout as I try to catch up to the others. Toushiro wasn’t lying when he said the captain and lieutenant were fast, they were the fastest ones out of all of them, and there was a whole bunch of people. {Who the hell is with them?} I ask myself as I sprint faster catching up. I sense their spiritual pressure come to a halt. I continue to run finally catching up. {There they are!} I think feeling relief come over me as I see almost everyone there except Ichigo and Yoruichi . I jump off the roof top as I land right in front a macho looking man
“Who is this?”
The guy says as I look up to see him with a little girl with pink hair on his shoulder, resembling a close friend I had. She looks at me and smiles
“Who are you?”
“Uh, Yuri?”
“YURI?!”
I hear people shout. I look to see Orihime, Uryuu, Chad, and Ganju looking at me shocked
“I finally caught up to you”
I say as I stand up
“Who is this little girl”
I twitch at the word little
“I’M NOT A LITTLE GIRL!”
I shout as this guy smirks {He’s the captain} I think as I see his white haori
“HAHAAH, quite the attitude you have, now tell me little one, you sword fight”
“Kenny! Now’s not the time for that! We got to save Rukia and find Ichi!”
“Ichi?”
I ask as the others just sigh shaking their heads
“You’re Captain Zaraki? of the 11th squad?”
I ask as he smirks
“That’s right”
“And you’re…the Lieutenant Kusajishi?”
I ask in disbelief as I point to the little 5 year old girl. She grins nodding her head vigorously
“That’s me!”
“Who are the other two?”
I ask as I look at the bald and girly guy
“That’s Mr. Baldy!”
“I SAID TO NOT CALL ME THAT!”
He shouts as I roll my eyes. Orihime points to the pretty one
“That’s Yumichika and Ikkaku and that is Makizo”
She says as I nod my head
“The names Yuri”
I say as they all nod
“It’s nice to meet someone as pretty, but still out of my league, pretty”
Yumichika says as I twitch but let it slide.
“Why are you guys going this way?”
I ask as they all look at me with a raised eyebrow
“What do you mean?”
Orihime asks as I sigh
“The execution is that what”
I say as I point behind them. They all look at Yachiru and she thinks
“Oh yea! It’s that way!”
She says as they all groan
“I told you we shouldn’t of let the lieutenant lead, she has no sense of direction what so ever”
Ikkaku says as Yachiru look s back at him and leaps onto him eating his head
“AAH! GET THIS THING OFF OF ME!”
He shouts as Yumichika tries to calm him down. My head jerks away from the scene as I look over my shoulder and then turn completely around
“You’re good”
Kenpachi says as I glance back at him
“Most of them haven’t even noticed yet”
He says smirking as I look back ahead
“You should all be ashamed of yourselves, hiding like that, show yourselves”
The captain says as I look around {Four people, strength of lieutenants and captain} I think {I can barely sense them though} I think as suddenly their pressure increases an incredible amount
“Your arrogance has no end Kenpachi”
A deep voice says as the world around us shakes
“How can you talk that way, look what you’re doing”
The voice says as I look {It’s true I guess, he’s a captain helping ryoka but…that doesn’t matter because he’s doing what he thinks is right} I think as I look straight ahead. My eyes widen as the four of them appear in front of us with great strength
“What do you think you’re doing with these ryoka?”
A guy with dark skin and shades on asks as I exam them
“Did you lose your dignity when you were defeated?”
He asks as Kenpachi just rolls his eyes
“Don’t worry so much”
Yumichika says to Makizo
“We still out number them two to one”
He points out as I look back to the enemies
“No one said you guys were joining this battle did they”
Kenpachi says as I look at him like he’s completely insane
“Are you kidding? You fighting a lone is completely idiotic!”
I say as he looks at me
“After all fighting these guys here alone won’t give my blade more than a little exercise”
He says as shake my head
“You’ve got to be joking, you can’t fight alone!”
I say as he just glances at me. I watch as the four of them disappear and reappear closer to us
“You think you can fight all four of us on your own Kenpachi?”
The guy with the bucket on his head asks
“Your self-confidence exceeds your actual strength”
He says as I look at Kenpachi, he seemed strong to me
“You boys talk too much”
He says as he grabs his sword
“Just hurry up and fight will you, and you all better attack at the same time”
He says smirking as I glare at him
“Um…Captain? What about the rest of us?”
Maki asks as he motions us to leave
“Go, you’ll only get in the way”
He says, his smirk never leaving his face
“Come on whiskers! Lets go, Kenny’s happy anyways. Trust me! You don’t want to bother him right now”
Yachiru says as she looks at me
“Lets go smiley!”
“Smiley?”
I ask as I twitch as she grins {When the hell did she decide to call me smiley of all damn names} I think as she grins
“We’re gonna go find Ichi now, ok Kenny!”
“I’ll be right there”
He says as I just continue to look at him. He looks back at me and smirks
“You’re eyes, you have the eyes of a true warrior I once knew”
He says as I raise an eyebrow {who would that be?} I ask not wanting to ask
“You can’t fight on your own, I won’t let-WHOA!”
He grabs me by the collar of my shihakusho
“Move, you’ll only get in the way and injure yourself”
He says
“WHAT THE?”
My eyes widen as he chucks me over his shoulder
“AAH!”
I collide into Uryuu as he falls back and I land on top of him
“ugh…”
We both groan as we sit up
“Thanks for that”
I say as I stand up and he shakes his head
“Y-Yea, not a problem”
He says as he shakes his head
“Muscles, Jiggle, Monkey, Pencil, Smiley! Lets go!”
She says as I twitch at the name
“Um what did you call us?”
“Oh you’ll figure it out later! Lets go! You too whiskers! Lets go!”
She shouts happily as we all begin to run
“Yea yea we’re coming”
“Alright already jeez!”
“Hey wait for me!”
I glance over my shoulder as I look back at Kenpachi {..hn, buffoon}
“Yachiru!”
Orihime says as she looks back at us
“hm?”
“Are you sure it’s a good idea to leave him behind?”
She asks as Yachiru grins
“She has a point!”
I add as she looks at me
“He’s out numbered by 3, how’s he going to fight?”
Yachiru smiles shaking her head
“Don’t you worry smiley, those guys could never beat Kenny”
She says as I look at her shocked {She has a lot of faith in him} I think shocked as we continue to run. I look as I realize we’re missing people
“Guys! Yumichika and Ikkaku are still back there!”
I point out as we all stop and look to see their faint figures. I look back at them {They won’t leave their captain behind}
“Well lets go! We can’t stop them now!”
Yachiru says as a sweat drop falls from out heads {Not much effort to stop them} I think as we run. We run non stop until we’re insight of the execution
“There..it….is…”
We all come to a stop as we all see some sort of blue flame come up from the ground
“…Is that a fire?”
Orihime asks confused as Yachiru thinks
“I think they started the execution”
She says as my eyes widen
“But..”
“Then we better hurry”
Uryuu says as we all nod our heads.
“Good idea, I’ll go first”
She says as she walk up in front of us
“Why?”
Orihime asks as she stops putting her finger to her chin
“Oh, it’s not about the execution, but Ichi might be there! And I have to try to help Ichi”
She says as my eyes widen slightly
“Thank you”
Orihime says smiling as she smiles back at us
“What makes you think you should say thank you? After all I have to save Ichi! He’s Kenny’s new best friend”
She says as we all stare in confusion
“Well see you later!”
She says as she disappears, a gust of wind pushing us back.
“She’s so fast”
“And so weird”
Ganju adds as I nod
“I agree with both”
I say as the two nod. I look up at the execution spot and nod
“Lets go, we have to get a move on if we want to help”
I say as the others nod. Orihime looks at me for a second as I look back at her with a raised eye brow
“What is it?”
I ask as she snaps out of her trance
“Oh, nothing”
I nod as we start off towards the execution
