In the elevator you can feel his eyes boring into your scull. “What?” you say defensively, swivelling to face him leaning against the elevator wall with his arms crossed accusingly.
“I didn’t say anything.” he says, a teasing lilt to his voice. His blue eyes twinkle in amusement and the corners of his mouth curl up slightly.
“I know what you’re thinking, and you’re wrong.” You declare defiantly, putting your hands on your hips. You don’t like the way he thinks he knows you. It’s infuriating, and yet you feel sparks running up your spine every time you see him. You don’t like it. You really want to write it off as stress. He is your boss, after all.
“Am I?”
“Look, I know I said some things to you before, but I didn’t mean any of it. I made those comments under an awful amount of stress, and that can do things to a person. Don’t assume you know so much about me, because you don’t know a thing about be. Not at all.”
Suddenly he leaped off the wall and was at your side. He put his arm around your waist and pulled close. His mouth was on your ear. “Don’t I?” he whispered, suddenly serious. You couldn’t move. You were paralysed. You could smell his husky scent and feel his stubble against your cheek. He nuzzled your neck. You moaned. You couldn’t help it. He was overwhelming. You could feel his nose trailing up and down your neck. You could hear his breathing. You could feel his every breath on your neck. He was pushing you into him, not forcefully, but enough that you were fully pushed up against him. You started to melt against him. Your arm found its way around his shoulders. You bent your head so he could have more access. His nose became his lips against your neck. He groaned.
The elevator dinged. The doors opened.
“Um…” you both looked up. The entire advertising department was standing through the door, gaping at the sight of the big boss mauling the tiny nobody on the 7th floor that pours coffee in meetings. Somebody coughed awkwardly. You were caught in an unforgivable position, career wise. You were so fired.
