Good Boys and Bad Girls Don't Mix Pt 78: First Times

"So your finally ready?" I ask standing and holding Mallory's hand as she sits in the chair. Ang is standing and watchign with great intent as Mallory shutters a little I guess out of nervousness.
"As ready as I'll ever be." No one would ever peg Mallory for the squimish type; but she's terrifyed of needles. That's why she doesn't have her ears pierced; yet. She looks horrified when the women pulls out the piercing gun. I always thought they were barbaric looking but that's just me. She squeezes my hand harder when the women puts the gun to her ear.
"Its gonna feel like a little pinch." The women tells Mallory but it doens't seem to calm her at all.
"On three okay? One.........two..........three." I hear the snapping sound of the trigger release and Mallory squeezes my hand harder still.
"How was it?" Ang asks.
"Not bad at all." Mallory exclaims in a voice that rings of pleasent suprise.
"That's awesome!" The lady tells her.
"You ready for the other one?"
"Ready when you are!" Mallory says gleefully. This is a big first step for her. We finish up and Ang and I split the cost of the piercing as a little gift for her. We go on to the food court and get dinner.
"Cheers." Ang says holding her smoothie up.
"To facing fears." She says to but I toss out something different.
"To first times!" I say and all three of touch our cups to eachothers. My cell phone starts ringing.
"Hello?"
"Hey!" Matt's voice chimes from the other side of the line.
"What's up?" I ask while trying to appease Mallory and Ang so they quit asking who it is.
"Nothing. Are you coming over tonight?"
"I was gonna stay at Angelique's tonight." I say in a tone that makes it clear even if he's unhappy about it I'm not changing my mind.
"Alright. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Okay." I'm a little bit suprised that he didn't raise a fuss about it.
"I love you." I tell him.
"I love you too. I'll call you before bed."
"Okay. Bye!" I chirp and after saying bye he hangs up.
"Ahhhhh!" Mallory says in the most obnoxious way she can and I punch her playfully in the arm.
"Shut up!" The three of us have another quick laugh.
"So how do your ears feel?" Ang asks while we finish up our food and get ready to head to Angelique's place.
"Hey Odile!" Some one shouts and when I turn I see Chase and a few of his friends. I wave to him and then the three of us leave.
The room is dead silent as the three of us sit on Angelique's couch and watch the end of Childeren of the Corn.
"That was wierd." Mallory says and I nod in agreement.
"Way freaky."
"You know I wonder about Stephen King some days. About what goes on in his head you know." I say and Angelique stares at me in confusion.
"Some days?" She ask and the three of us laugh. We fall asleep in the living room. When we wake up the next morning it's well past what time we usaully get up and we have to rush to make it out the door on time.
"Thank god its Friday!" I say on the way to school and Mallory and Ang agree. We take my car and I'll just drop them back off after school. When we park Mallory and I walk as slowly as we can across the parking lot and into the school all the while Ang is walking ahead of us and hurrying us a long. We meet up with our friends and Jayden double takes at Mallory.
"You got your ears pierced!"
