Kaylnn’s P.O.V.
Kaylynn McCleary walked home from school, consumed deep in thought. At that current moment, she was thinking to herself how unfair life is. How Alicia Harbrooke, her best girl friend, was so beautiful.
Tall, blond, blue eyes, slim, and tan, Kaylynn thought her friend looked like a model fresh off the runway, unlike Kaylynn, who had brown hair, hazel eyes, was a bit on the chubby side, which in Kaylnn’s thought about herself, looked like a walking fashion disaster. Yet like Alicia, she was tall. All of a sudden, someone yelling her name brought her from the land of thoughts she had been enveloped in.
“Kaylynn!” hollered a voice behind her. Turning around, Kaylynn realized it was her crush, Aiden Wood. To Kaylynn, Aiden was perfect. Tall, dark brown hair, brown eyes, adorably cute, smart, funny, sensitive, caring, not to mention her best guy friend. Everything she wanted in a guy. Yet nothing she could ever have.
Aiden’s P.O.V.
As Aiden Wood walked down the street, he was deep in thought of the girl he secretly loved, Kaylynn McCleary. He wondered how she was so perfect. About her beautiful hazel eyes, silky brown hair, and her adorable smile. To Aiden, she was perfect.
As he looked up, he was surprised to see Kaylynn herself walking less than 50 feet in front of him. How am I so lucky? He thought to himself, quickening his pace to catch up with Kaylynn.
“Kaylynn!” he yelled, slowing his pace, where she wouldn’t notice his sudden appearance.
“Hey Aiden!” said Kaylynn, her eyes radiating happiness. Her eyes are so beautiful when she’s happy.
“Hey Kay.” He said, smiling at her.
“So what are you doing today?” Kaylynn asked, staring at Aiden.
“Um,” Aiden said, faux-stalling, knowing how it gets on Kaylnn’s nerves, “I um… am uh…” started Aiden before Kaylynn playfully slapped him in the arm.
“Well?” She asked, faux-glaring at him.
“Well… I was going to see if you wanted to chill, but not now.” He said, while pausing in his walk with Kaylynn.
“Oh. Well then. Um. I’m sorry.” Kaylynn asked, almost questioningly.
“Ok. I forgive you. But your not fully off the hook.” announced Aiden mischievously.
“Bring it!” giggled Kaylynn teasingly.
“Well… I usually wouldn’t be this obvious, but since you brought it up…” said Aiden, charging at Kaylynn, picking her up and slinging her over his shoulders.
“Oh. I am SO scared!” laughed Kaylynn.
“You should be. I’m not finished.” He said mysteriously.
As Aiden walked down the road, Kaylynn in tow on his shoulders, he was planning out what he would do in his mind. Wow. She’s so sweet. Just one look in her eyes makes me want to forget my fake revenge. But... No. I’m going to get her back. “She’s not going to get off the hook that easy just because I love her.” said Aiden aloud unconsciously.
“What? Who’s not going to get off the hook that easily? Love who?” asked Kaylynn with a hint of panic rising in her voice.
OH MY GOD! I said that out loud!
