Crystal didn't pry any further and Chasity didn't offer any more.Plus Charlie came back into the room
quickly and then they had to leave.
They drove to the studio where the show was filmed in separate cars this time.Chasity left first to make sure
all the arrangements were still good. When she got there Joe and Patrick were already there.
"Hey Chas." Joe said.
"What's up guys?" Chas said.
"Nothing much. I didn't see you at Pete's earlier." Patrick said as Chasity sat down next to him.
"I was there. I was outside for a little bit but I didn't stay for long. I had some stuff to do
before the show." Chasity lied.
"Yeah, I saw Chas there." Joe said.
Then Andy came walking into the room.
"Woo hoo I'm on time." Andy said high-fiving Joe.
"Yeah did you actually leave on time this time?" Chasity asked.
"Nope." he said with a huge grin.
At this time each guy started doing there normal routine to get ready for the show. Charlie, Crystal, Pete and
Ashlee all showed up at the same time.
'Doesn't she ever have anything to do on her own?' Chasity wondered silently.
Ashlee again was happy to see Chasity. As she sat down across from her she seemed to be in a talkative mood.
'Oh great!' Chasity thought trying to fight the urge to roll her eyes.
"You didn't stay a the party long. I was upset because I didn't get a chance to hang out with you." Ashlee said
sullenly.
"Yeah sorry I had some stuff to do before the show." Chasity said not looking at her.
The pain was still there and still very strong. When she was around Pete and Ashlee she felt like there was a hand
around her heart constantly squeezing.
"Well there will always be more parties and I'm sure Chas will be there." Pete said smiling at Chas.
She couldn't manage to smile back but she just nodded her head in agreement and then looked down and pretended
to focus on the schedule for the next day.
Shortly after that the guys did their two performances. Afterwards everyone went their separate ways.
The next day was pretty much the same. Ashlee was there through it all as usual. Chasity gritted her
teeth throughtout the day. The hole in her chest growing by the second. They were doing and interview for AP
magazine around 12:30pm. Chasity was sitting on a couch in the room across from where the guys were doing the
interview. Crystal and Charlie were sitting on the couch with her. Ashlee was sitting on a chair nearby.
Suddenly Chasity felt her phone vibrate in her pocket.
"I'll be back." Chasity said quietly to Crystal and she quickly walked out of the room and down the hall.
She pulled her phone out of her pocket and flipped it open. It was a text message from Brendon that read:
Brendon: R u wit them?
Chas: Yep
Bren: Well have u eaten yet?
Chas: No, I will be leaving here soon 2 go 2 lunch.
Bren: Would u like to go 2 lunch wit me?
Chas: I would luv 2!
Bren: Great, do u wanna meet me somewhere?
Chas: Yea, I'll meet u at ur house and then we'll figure it out from there.
Bren: Sounds good, c ya soon.
Chas: Ok, bye
Bren: Bye
Chas shut her Sidekick and smiled to herself. She shoved her phone back into her pocket and began walking
back down the hallway. The hole in her heart didn't hurt so much anymore. It seemed to be better when
Brendon was around. She didn't have to force fake happiness with him. She didn't have to fake anything with him.
She went back into the room and sat down next to Crystal again.
"Where's you go?" Crystal whispered.
"Bathroom." Chasity answered.
When the interview was over they all went separate ways to go get lunch.
"Hey sis you gonna go with us to lunch?" Crystal asked Chasity.
"Nah, thanks but I gotta go meet with my publisher about my book. I'll just pick something up on the way there."
Chasity lied.
"Oh okay, well I'll see you later sis." Crystal said giving Chas a hug.
Chasity hated lying to Crystal but there was also a part of her deep down that liked the idea of sneaking around
with Brendon.
Chasity left and got in her car feeling a little giddy to see Brendon.
She drove over to Bren's house and as she pulled up in front of his house he came strolling out his front door.
"Hello beautiful." he said with a charming smile.
"Well hello." She said smiling.
"Who's car do you want to take?" Brendon asked.
"Mine, you know how much I love this car." Chasity said.
"Yes I do." Brendon replied laughing as he strolled to the other side of the car.
He climbed in and she said,
"Where are we going for lunch?"
"I was thinking this place on Jewett." Brendon said.
"Okay, works for me." Chas said as she started driving.
Brendon took her free hand in his and held it the whole drive.
"I'm glad you had time to come out with me today. I miss you when you're with them." Brendon said looking at her
and then looking down.
"I'm glad too and I miss you too." Chas said smiling over at him.
"So what are we doing exactly? I mean with us." Brendon asked nervously.
"Well I was gonna ask you the same question." Chasity said matter of factly.
"Well I kno how you feel about Pete and I don't mind dealing with that. I do want to be with you but I don't know
if you would want to be with me." Brendon rambled.
"Brendon, I do want to be with you." Chasity admitted honestly.
Brendon looked up at her and their eyes met for a brief moment before her eyes went back to the road.
"Then are we making this official? You want to be my girlfriend?" Brendon questioned.
"Yes, if you'll have me as messed up as I am." Chasity said.
"Of course I'll take you, happily." Brendon said smiling.
"Okay,then it's settled." Chasity replied.
Brendon leaned over and gave Chas a kiss on the cheek. She smiled in response and then asked for directions.
Brendon showed her how to get to the restaurant.
When they got there Chas got out of the driver's side and walked around to the passengar side.
Brendon was already out of the car and when she got to him, he grabbed her by her beltloops and pulled her to him
and leaned in and gave hera slow passionate kiss. It nearly took her breath away. When they finally broke apart
they smiled at each other knowingly. Then they went into the restaurant, holding hands. Chasity was thinking that
maybe she had finally found her man and he was there right in front of her all along. She felt safe with him.
They were seated and they ordered.
"So are we gonna tell everyone about us?" Chasity asked.
"I don't know. I kinda like the idea of only us knowing." Brendon said arching one eyebrow.
"Actually so do I." Chas admitted.
"Alright, so we'll just play it cool." Brendon agreed lightly brushing his fingers across her cheek.
"So how is everything going?" Bren asked.
"Everythings going good. I think Charlie's about to move into our house." Chas said.
"That's cool. Hey are you gonna be free sometime tonight?" Brendon questioned.
"Yes, actually it's an early night for the guys. So I should be done by seven." Chasity explained.
"Well do you wanna come over to my house later and we can watch some movies or something?" Brendon said.
"Yeah when do you want me to come over?" Chasity asked.
"Whenever you want to." Brendon said with a smile.
"Okay after I'm done with the guys, I'm gonna go home and take a shower and then I'll be over." Chas said smiling back.
Then they waitor brought out their food and they ate and had a great time.
Then as much as Chas and Bren did not to, they had to leave. So Chasity drove Brendon back to his house because
she had to get to an magazine photoshoot for the guys.
"Okay, babe I'll see you later." Brendon said as he leaned over and gave her a goodbye kiss.
"Alright, can't wait." Chasity said.
They said their goodbyes and Chasity headed back to the studio.
Crystal and Charlie were still standing outside of the studio when Chas drove up.
"Did you have fun at the publisher ?" Crystal asked sarcastically.
