“Come on they need help!” Callie, Melissa, and Katherine yelled getting out of the car. Corbin and Kail looked at each other for a moment before running after the three of them. They reached the doors and all tried pulling on it and even pushing it. “How are we supposed to get it open?” Melissa wondered aloud. They looked at the door thinking. “Can you open it?” voices form inside questioned. *** “Look for a way out,” Sara ordered walking around. A squeaking sound was heard above and a cage fell over Sara who had tripped a cord. The front doors flew open from the release of the cage. The girls started to help Sara, but Martinial and some other Serents were coming to see the commotion and it would take too long to get her out. “Sorry Sara,” the two yelled running out the door. “We’ll find a way to get you out but we need to save ourselves first.” “What?!” Sara yelled angrily watching them leave, the doors slamming closed seconds after they left. *** “Where’s Sara?” Callie asked when Sierra and Jamie came out and the doors slammed close. “She was recaptured. A cage fell on her. We had to save ourselves. He was coming,” Jamie explained. “Oh, I see. Sierra couldn’t have just lifted the cage or Jamie levitate it?” Callie questioned. “No. We didn’t have time. Plus, we weren’t thinking about our powers. We were thinking about saving ourselves,” Sierra snapped angrily. “So, now what? She’s stuck until we find a way in without being noticed?” Callie asked. “Yep,” the group said in unison. *** “Damn it. I was hoping for more than one, but I guess you’ll do,” Martinial laughed as he reached the cage. “Real funny. I’m laughing my head off,” Sara mumbled angrily, just loud enough for him to hear. “Just sit there for a minute. I have some important things to do like capture ALL your family,” he laughed walking away slowly. *** “So, how are we supposed to save Sara while we’re just sitting around eating nacho’s and watching the Simpson’s?” Callie asked when she swallowed her nacho. “I have no idea. We have to get her soon though. According to what you, Sierra, and Jamie said, Sara and Martinial don’t exactly get along,” Kail said between nachos. “I think it’s funny. He can’t say anything with out her insulting him or making fun of him,” Katherine joked. Callie, Sierra, and Melissa giggled, both at Katherine’s comment and the television. *** “…and after them will be the Basin family…” Martinial ranted being interrupted by Sara. “Do you have a nail filer?” she asked examining her nails. “Are you even listening?” Martinial asked angrily banging his fist on the cage. “Was I supposed to be?” She asked looking up, amused. “Yes! Stephanie! Bring me some tea! God you stress me out,” Martinial screamed. “You think I’m talking for my health?” “Yes. That’s why I let you,” Sara responded. A girl walked in then carrying a tray, apparently this was Stephanie. “Your tea, sir,” Stephanie gave him his tea and walked away. “You need tea to calm you? I’m always calm, basically. I don’t need to calm myself,” Sara lied seeing how far she could push him. Martinial’s fact turned red with anger and he marched out of the room mumbling under his breath. “Thank god he’s gone,” Sara breathed sitting on the floor and observing her nails again. *** Callie became bored of the nachos and TV and went to her room. She waited for everyone to go to sleep before sneaking out. She planned on driving to the factory and getting Sara on her own, since no one else seemed to care. Callie grabbed her jacket and snuck out when she saw the coast was clear. She didn’t end up sneaking out unnoticed. Kail saw her when he came out of the restroom. He decided to follow to see what Callie was up to. He grabbed his jacked and followed. *** Sara was hungry. She hadn’t eaten in what felt like forever. She decided that she was going to die of hunger and boredom. She was surprised when Stephanie brought her a plate of food. “This isn’t poisoned, is it?” Sara asked looking suspiciously at the food. “No. He needs you alive to get your family and those boys they brought with them,” Stephanie whispered before looking around quickly and running away. Apparently she wasn’t allowed to talked to Sara. Sara grabbed the chicken leg, looked at it, and then took a bite. The food (chicken, corn, green beans, and bread) was gone very quickly. That helped. Sara thought. What did? Callie thought back to her. Oh, I forgot I didn’t have a ring on. The only meal I’ve gotten in a while. Sara thought angrily. Then it occurred to her, the others could save her at night.
