The first week that Frankie was gone, all I did was sit by the phone. I was waiting for it to ring so I could hear the sound of his voice. At first he called me everyday, then every other day.. once a week.. couple times a month.. never at all. I took this very hard saying to my friends “he’ll call.. he’ll call..” But he never did.
