Fighting Worlds

"Wh-Why not" you said
"Because she is a werewolf." your dad said with disgust.
"That's impossible! 1 the don't exist 2 i might have noticed and 3 even if she was why would that matter!"
"Honey," your mom whispered, "It's true. The reason is: Vampires and Werewolves are at a constant war with eachother. They are fighting for comtrol of the darkness."
"Why?" you were now curious.
"Because," micheal said, "The Gardian of Darkness is gone. She has been gone for over amillion years. HEr daughter was said to be sent to earth after she was gone but the new gaurdian never came. With no one to control the darkness naturally both creatures want it."
"So if i found her, The guardian, then the war would end.?"
"No." your dad said gruffly."She would kill all of us. every vampire and werewolf who has taken place in the war. She would be the only one to rule darkness."
"Why would she do that?"
"It is her destiny." your dad said
"I'm going to go talk to Anna about this."
"No you wont'!" your family ran infront of the door to block it.
"She would kill us too! She's on their side!!!" Your father barked, "sit down!"
you walked over like you were going to sit on your bed and they relaxed. As soon as they had relaxed you used your awesomley gymnast skilles to jump out the window fall two stories and land on your feet. You were sprinting towards Anna's house before your family realized what had happened.
"That girl!" you heard your mother say. You smiled at the pride you could hear under the anger.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!
Anna opened the door and looked surprised but ushered you inside and up to her room.
"What's up chicken butt?" she asked as you stared at her intently.
"Anna, can i ask a question,"
"Shoot!"
"But you swear you'll tell the truth and you won't hurt me afterwards?"
Anna Laughed."WHy would i hurt you!"
"do you swear on your life?"
"Yes"
"Good. Anna? Are you a werewolf?"
Anna looked shocked for a second.
"You swore you'd be thruthful."
She nodded feebly.
"Oh my god" you whispered.
"Please don't be mad! I wanted to tell you but my parents wouldn't let me! They." she lowered her voice to a whisper, "they think you and your family are vampires."
you nodded and then quickly added, "But im not! I have no powers at all thankfully. If i did i guess some tradition says i have to hate you."
"You don't?"
"Of course not! If yours and my parents care that we're freinds too bad! I'm not a vampire so it doesn't matter anyways!"
"Good!" anna smiled and the the front door crashed open. your fathers face was red and her yelled, "HWAT DID YOU TELL HER BRITTNEY MARIA LAUGHLIN!!!!"
you looked at him and an evil smirk appeared on your face, "Everything! Everything yo've been hiding from me, everything that could endanger your life, EVERYTHING!!!!" you laughed evvily and ran down the stairs past him and into your house.
What just happened? why do i feel so evil? Well atleast me and Anna are still freinds!"
You heard screaming from Anna's house and turned around to run back.
Anna's parents and your parentsand brother were fighting.
"Anna what's going on!" you cried.
"I think they want to kill eachother!" anna screamed back. You grabbed her wrist and the two of you ran. You ran out of the house and out of the town. You didn't stop running till you were hidden in the forest outside town.
"Anna...We can't go back. If your parents are killed you will be killed if my parents are killed i will be killed and then you might be killed for running."
"I wish you weren't right."
"What are we going to do now?"
"i don't know."
"So basically we are stuck with no food or clothing and we can't go home because at home there is a war between our families."
"Yep."
"Can i ask you a question now britt?"
"YEs."
"Don't you hate not having powers when the rest of your family does?"
"It's torture. They talk in whispers around me and i don't ever feel like part of the family. They were never up front about it. I've known what they were since i was seven and now 9 years later, they tell me what they are."
"Wow...is that why you always wanted to get away?"
"yes partially. i also wantedout of the chaos of expectations. It's like they wake up everyday and they expect me to have become one of them overnight!"
"Well what are we going to do now?"
"Simple. Get as far away as possible and don't stop until we know we are safe."
"o.k."
You turn and start walking away from your lives. In a away it felt like you knew something greater was planned. You two never turned back.
