Story:
Eva's P.O.V.
"Patrick, I'm so sorry.... I shouldn't have cut.. I-I should've gone to you.." I couldnt continue, I started to cry again. Patrick just stood there but then stepped towards me and hugged me.
"Eva, its alright.. Don't worry about it. Don't do this ever again. You promise right?"
"Yeah. I promise.."
"Alright, and Eva, you have a beautiful voice, you know that?"
I started blushing like mad. I looked down, he noticed me blushing and laughed.
"And you're cute when you blush. Haha.."
Then everyone else came home.. gahh.. I have to talk to them, too. I got all nervous all of a sudden. Patrick notciced and just smiled and said, "Don't worry about it."
"Heey everyone!!!!! Eva has a surprise for you!" Patrick greeted.
"Uhh.. hi.." I said
They all just stood there and then Amber came over to me and tackle- hugged me.
"Eva!!!!! I'm so proud of you!!! Patrick thanks sooo much!!!!"
Haley and Tanna all came to me and hugged me to.
The boys laughed and said, "Patrick we knew you'd do it!!"
And... we partied even more!! Haha. I had so much fun. And it felt really good to talk again. It's nice knowing Patrick's not mad at me for cutting either..
~Fast Forward~ Next Day

Patrick's P.O.V.

Dammit! I hate Hannah!! She's been acting so clingy nowadays. I can barely spend any time with Eva without Hannah interrupting, complaining on how I give her sooo little attention compared to Eva. Frankly, I liked it better when she ignored me.
"Patrick!!!"
Sigh.. "What, Hannah?"
"Aww.. Patrick! That's not a way to greet your bestest friend!!"
"Just for the record, 'bestest' is not a word."
"Whatever. Anyways, let's go on a date after school!"
What the hell?!
"Uhh.. what?"
"A date, silly!!"
No! There is no fucking way I am going on a date with her.
"Sorry.. I'm busy.. I'm have to go study at Eva's house."
Woah, why'd I bring Eva up?
"Aww.. You spend too much time with her. What's so special about her anyways? Just 'cause she started talking.."
Okay, that bitch just crossed the line
"Okay! What the hell Hannah! Why do you keep critizising Eva like that?! What did she ever do to you?!"
Just my luck: Eva just happened to walk by.
"P-Patrick? Are you alright?"
Hearing Eva's voice made me calm down immedietly.
"I'm find. C'mon let's go."
"Okay," she said.
~Fast Forward~ After School

"Paaaatrick!!!! Wait up!!!"
Oh Christ.. Not her again
"Hannah.. what do you want now?"
"Oh come on! Let's go buy icecream like we always did before!! We don't do that anymore.." She pouted. And it really was an ugly pout.. Really..
"Nope, I can't Eva and I have places to go."
Truth: It's pretty ironic actually, I'm going with Eva for icecream.
"Where you goin?" Hannah asked, her voice a bit more sharper than her girly tone.
"Icecream.." I muttered
Lucky for me she didn't hear
"Come again?"
"It's nothing. Come on Eva let's go."
At the Icecream Shop

Eva's P.O.V.

After we ordered our icecream, we sat down. Patrick seemed really bothered by something.
"Patrick.. what's bothering you?"
"Huh? Oh.. It's nothing.."
"Tell me.."
"It's just Hannah.. she annoys me so much.. I mean do you hear the things she says about you?!"
"Of course I do. But it's okay.. I'm used to that kind of thing.."
"What?! What do you mean 'used to'?!?!?"
Oh shoot!!
"Huh? Oh! It's nothing. I-I meant that... that I'm used to Hannah saying things about me! Yeah.. thats right.." I stuttered lamely
"Eva..."
Should I tell him?
-Tell him!! It's a good way to open up and he'll understand you more!!
- No!! Don't!! It's not worth the pain.

"Patrick, really it's nothing.. I'm tired.. Can we go home now?"
Patrick FINALLY gave up.
"Okay.. fine."
When we got home, I wanted to go straight to bed, but the boys decided to sleep over.. Urg.. -_-
"LETS WATCH MOVIES ALL NIGHT!!" Pete.. typical Pete..
"Okay.. fine" Tana (his girlfrend as of 1 week ago) groaned.
Afteronly 2movies,Pete and the boys (except Patrick)finally decided to sleep. Finally..
Patrick's P.O.V.
Eva's lieing.. Something is up.. And I'm gonna find out.
"Amber, Can I talk to you about something?" I asked when Eva decided to go wash up.
"Sure, what's up?"
"It's Eva.."
"huh?"
"Tell me about her past"
"W-what? What are you talking about?"
"Amber, please tell me.."
After a minute of debating by herself she told me.
"Sigh.. When Eva was little her parents loved her and everything. When she turned 8, they started taking drugs and started drinking. They fought and finally they decided that Eva was the cause of everything.. So they physically and mentally abused her.. The police somehow found out.. moved her to a foster home. She went to 5 different foster homes, and 2 of them were mentally abusive. So she stopped talking. She's been to therapy and she's all better now.. And 'cause of you, she started talking again.."
I was shocked. Finally, I spoke.
"Okay, thanks Amber"
"No problem"
When Eva came out, I becamse furious all of a sudden. Why didnt she want to tell me?!
"Eva let's go to the park."
"W-what? It's late"
"I have to talk to you now"
"Huh? Okay.."
I halfed dragged her to the park and started yelling at her.
"Amber told me everything Eva. Why didn't you tell me? Why did you say it was nothing?!!? According to Amber, everyone, even Pete Andy, and Joe, know everything. Why was I the only one that didn't know anything?!?!!?!"
"P-Patrick.." she started to cry.. "Patrick! I didn't want you to know!"
"What?! Why not?" Usually, I would soften up if she cried, but I was still very angry.
"You- You're different!!"
What?! Okay, now I am confused
"What does that mean?!"
"You're special Patrick.. I didn't want you to know.." she managed to stutter out in between tears. "You mean so much to me! I thought that you would stop being my friend if I told you. I didn't want to take any risks!!!" She sobbed.
Nerrr.... Great.. Just fucking great.. Once again, I let my feelings get the better of me. Now she's crying..
"Eva..." I hugged her tightly. "I wouldn't stop being friends with you Eva.. You mean alot to me, too. Okay? Stop crying. Shh.. It's alright. I didnt mean to get mad." I tried to comfort her as much as I can.
She kept on crying and fell asleep. I carried her home and by then, everyone else was asleep. I carried her to her bed and layed down to sleep next to her.."
