Weeks passed and as the days went by, Edward and I got closer and closer. Most of the time we would just spend time with each other talking about random things. Sometimes Edward would also help me to play a couple small songs which I was surprised to say I could play half of.

Since I was still healing with the broken arm, cuts, and bruised bones, I was told by Carlisle I was to stay home for at least two weeks.

I was glad to see that I was almost healed except for a stiff back and a little pain in my neck.

Since it was the third week, I had gone to school on Monday giving me two times the evil glares I usually got by Lauren after she saw Edward walk me to my first period, brushing his cold hand against my cheek once again.

I could still remember the reaction I got from Angela after she had seen my brittle shape:

"Oh my God! Elle, what happened?!" She exclaimed as I entered Literature. Her eyes nearly popped out of her head.

I pretended like I wasn't in pain just in case she got a heart attack and I just looked like my broken arm was no big deal.

"This?" I chuckled,"Seeing as I'm one of the biggest klutzes in the world, I tripped down my stairs and," I raised my arm up to eye level, "I think you can see what happened."

Angela rolled her eyes as I walked to my desk and sat down beside her.

"I swear." she whispered since Mr. Hendrickson had began to take role.

So throughout the day, I was given the same same direction as Angela's and over and over I would have to enplane what had happened.

Edward saved me from one question I hadn't thought to answer yet.
"So what happened to your dad?"

"Her father and his fiance have gone on a trip to find where they would like their honeymoon." Edward answered.

Thankfully everyone seemed to have believed it.

Right now I was in the comfy bed Edward was able to place in. The blankets warmed and calmed me with the thoughts of the first week back at school since the attack that was made on me.

I moved onto my right side and slowly opened my eyes so they could focus from the light form outside.

My first sun. I thought.

That's when I noticed Edward wasn't anywhere to be seen. Usually he had come accustomed to being the first one for me to see when I would wake up. And I had no objections to that!

After that, he would pick me up and take me down to the kitchen so I could eat my breakfast only making me protest each time telling him I was perfectly fit to walk downstairs.

"Your still healing. Remember you have to take it easy." Edward would reply.

So as I looked at the empty spot next to me, that's when I remembered that he had to "eat", so he would be gone for a bit.

The alarm beeped next to me on the dresser and I slammed my hand on the snooz button.

Some things never change. I thought bitterly. I think that alarm was made personally to make my mornings a living hell.

But I got up, wincing a bit from my back and I put my black slippers on before heading to the door and making my way down to the kitchen.

As I made my way down, I noticed it was quiet. Usually when I came down, Emmett or Alice would be making a ruckus about something.

So when I had made my way down the steps, I looked into the kitchen first. No one was there. Then I looked in the living room. There on the couch was Alice looking bored at the T.V. screen with the remote in her hand and her feet curled to her side. When she saw that I was now awake and in view, the boredom in her face vanished.

"Finally your awake! Do you have any idea how boring it is right now?"

"Well no seeing as I was asleep. So wutcha doing?" I said as I plopped next to her on the couch.

She gave a long dramatic sigh, "Well, trying to find something good to watch. But I seem to be having no luck with it."

"How about a movie? Your choice. AND it can be the chick flicks I know you love."

Alice's eyes brightened and she walked over to where a shelf of every DVD was, alphabetically ordered, and skimmed her finger over the covers before she found what she was looking for. She picked the case out and danced her way over to the new enhanced DVD payer.

Once she had put the movie in, we got comfy and waited for the menu to come up. I saw she had picked "Titanic" one of my all time favorite tear jerker films.

Once Alice pressed play, the sounds of the bagpipe came on with it's orchestra playing along as it introduced the title of the movie.

We watched the movie with our utmost attention(especially when Leonardo DiCaprio made his appearance). I always loved the part when Rose was about to jump only to have Jack save her. Tragic but also romantic.

Some of the scenes reminded me of Edward. The way Jack saved Rose and how Edward had saved me.

My mind began to switch and I started to think about Edward. The way he always treated me like I was the only one there. The way his cold lips felt against mine.

Just with the thought I shivered. Too bad it was called short with Dan and all. Also because Edward wasn't used to it or something and just feeling my blood was torture for him. But I wasn't going to blame him for any of that.

With these thoughts, I was snapped out of it with a white hand snapping repeatedly in front of me. I blinked and shook my head to turn towards Alice.

"Huh?"

"I was saying that Edward wanted me to tell you he'll be back around 3. Just make sure you dress comfortably."

"For what?"

"I'm not saying." she said, but I could see the amusement in her eyes. She was hiding something from me.

"You know something I don't. What is it?"

"Nothing."

"Alice, please tell me!"

"Nope."

For 5 minutes strait I tried getting the truth out of Alice, but she wouldn't budge. I gave up and huffed, looking back to the screen. I always hated when I couldn't know something. My mom even said that I'd make a good news reporter. There, they could know what was going on and everything.

My eyes moved to the green numbers on the DVD player. It said 2:15, only 45 more minutes before Edward came back.

"I'm gunna go ahead and start getting ready." I told Alice. She nodded and moved her eyes back to the screen where Rose was about to jump.

Lazily, I walked back up to the stairs towards Edward's room. I always smiled when I came in. I don't know why but it always felt like his presence was always with me.

So I walked over to the chest and lifted the top to find some of my skinny jeans and a black long sleeved shirt. Even though it was sunny, it still was cold around Forks. The highest it had gotten was maybe 65 degrees or 71.

Grabbing my bathroom things, I walked down the hall towards the bathroom and closed the door.

Once I had turned the knobs so hot water made it's way out, I stripped and stepped in, grabbing the new body wash I had gotten. The soothed me once more and I began to squeeze the Ocean Breeze shampoo into my palm and lather it into my hair.

Bad thing was, after I had let the conditioner sit and I began to use the Chinese Blossom body wash, a bit of soap flicked it's way off and into my eyes when I was squishing it into the sponge. My eye stung and felt like something had stabbed into the very sides of my eye.

"Ow!" I hissed to myself, whipping around to put my face under the water and wash the soap out.

I scrubbed the rest of my conditioner out as fast as I could and turned the water off, stepping out to grab the blue towel I brought.

As I stepped into view of the mirror, I swear I looked like Popeye the Sailer Man with one shut tight. I slowly opened my eye, as the sting slowly subsided.

My eye was a bit blood shot and puffy making me look a bit contorted. But I knew that I would have to quicken my pace, so I began to dry off.

Once I had been able to put my shirt on(twice seeing as the first time I put it on backwards), I rushed to put my pants on only ending me on the floor. I never had god balance especially when I'm only standing on one foot.

After I had done my little head banging move to get the remaining water out of my hair, I headed back to my room to see Alice on the bed.

"Fall again?" she asked looking away from the magazine when I entered my room rubbing my leg. I sighed and nodded.

She just chuckled and went back to looking at one of my magazines.

The Cullen's were so used to my clumsiness it was like a normal part of their everyday lives.

"Hey what's this?" I heard Alice ask when I turned my back to her to sit on the bed and put my socks on. I turned around and saw her with my black sketchbook in her hands.

"Nothing!" I said as I tried to swipe the book out of her hands. But seeing as she was one to have inhuman speed, her arms moved in a flash to her side.

"It doesn't look like nothing."

"Well...just give it back please!"

"Hmmm," she said as if thinking hard with her finger tapping her shin, "No." And she leaned the other way and began to open my sketchbook.

"Alice." I complained. But her attention was elsewhere. Her eyes skimmed across the first drawing of a full moon over sparkling waters with a small white butterfly touching it's surface. The picture was one of the first I did. Alice turned the next page to a girl laying in long grasses gazing up at the sky.

"These are really good Elle." she said over her shoulder. I blushed and walked over to the side Alice was turned to and I sat next to her.

"Where did you learn to draw like this?"

"I dunno. I was always inspired by my mom to draw these things since I always liked to be outside."

She turned the next page and it showed a fairy like woman with a flowing dress that blew in the wind around her with her wings spread wide.

When I drew these, I had just finished a book that dealt with fairies, so with a mental picture of how they described the fairy, I decided I would draw her.

We stayed there in the room just looking at the pictures. Alice would comment them here and there. But on the last picture, I was about to grab the sketchbook again.

"Now this is the best I have seen so far," Alice chimed in. On the sheet was a sketch of the Angela, Ben, Alice, and Edward all sitting around the lunch table.

I had drawn that my first day in seeing them after I became marveled on how beautiful Alice and Edward were.

Once again I blushed making Alice laugh.

"So who is that beautiful creature sitting right there." Alice joked and pointed to herself on the page.

"Well, I don't know exactly but all I know is that that girl is the weirdest girl I have EVER seen." I replied back. Alice pretended to look hurt ad looked at me with innocent eyes. No sooner had she done that had we broke out into a fit of laughter, practically falling to the floor.

We stopped when we heard a knock on the door frame, and looked to see Edward standing beside the door.
